Pretty darn quiet! Does the job of cooling my AMD xII 6core. Massive, make certain it fits in your case. I had to get rid of a side fan to fit it.

Nice cooler keeping my Intel processor i5 at 25c under load and 18c idol. Using this cooler on an Asus motherboard p8z68-v pro gen3. I have added more fans to the box to help extract heat.

Comment:
Enormous cooler. Excellent mounting technique, was quite uncomplicated to install and the heatsink feels solid and doesn't move. Fan is fairly quiet as nicely. Extremely big and quite tall, measure just before you acquire.Complety blocks slot 1 of my DIMM slots on my ASUS P8P67.Had to move RAM to slots 2 and four. Great coolor dispite blocking a single of my DIMM slot. O/Ced my I5 2500k to 4.5 GHZ ʁ.3v. Temps with Prime95 operating 1 hr stressing all four cores hover from 68-73C. Standard game usage temps hover about 50-60C, depending on the game.

Cons:-buy it when it's on sale

Pros:-it works-it cools my CPU well-it looks great
Comment:
Well it works perfectly fine. Brought down temps from stock by about 15 C. Put a small OC on my CPU and its still cooling fine. All in all it's a good buy. Just make sure you buy it when it's on sale.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons:Doesn't offer stellar cooling

Pros:Very cheapWorks greatNot too heavyLooks great
Comment:
For $20, this basically offers more than adequate cooling even for a 2500k with a reasonable OC of 4ghz. Very impressive result (55C) out of a "budget" cooler. Very satisfied again with Corsair. It doesn't look cheap either.

Excellent excellent, uncomplicated install, Operates great! Not that good for OC-ing. I have a i7 950 and at three.8Ghz im acquiring 90C+ soooo I'm running it at three.6 with 75C-80C below load. I genuinely want to get to at least 4Ghz, so I'll be fully replacing it...

Cons:not easy to install on Z68 motherboard, not sure it is only me that have this issue or not.

Pros:very good CPU cooler, CPU temperature never go up to 30C after playing 2-3 hours game. Good deal for just 20 bucks.

Picked this up for $20, can't really go wrong. I wouldn't pay regular price for it thats for sure. Does the job cooling a A8-3870, no complaints on performance. Would buy again on sale if I needed another.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons:It's so wide that I can't put any RAM in one socket on my motherboard.

Pros:Far quieter than stock, great cooling, got it at an awesome price.
Comment:
Got this on sale. While installing I realized it's so wide that I can't use one socket for RAM on my MSI G45 Motherboard. I installed it using Arctic Silver 5 instead of the thermal paste it comes with. 30 minutes of Prime95 on an AMD 1090T Stock cooler - 72 Degrees Cesius. 30 minutes of Prime95 with this cooler and Arctic silver - 32 Degrees.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons:-Can't think of any

Pros:- Easy to install(much to my surprise) - Fan detaches and reattaches easily. - Very cost effective(got it on sale for 19.99)- Didn't encroach on ram
Comment:
Can't think of any reason not to buy this heatsink if you need an inexpensive after market heatsink. My Q6600 is just running stock at 2.66ghz, but its at 23celsius and at load is about 30 celsius.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons:pretty big

Pros:AMD installation was quite easy
Comment:
Installed this on my PC as soon as I got it and noticed a huge difference. It was much quieter and much cooler. My cpu temp dropped by nearly 10degrees compared to my stock. The only downfall you need to plan out spacing in you mobo. with the heatsink, heatpipes and 120mm fan it's not small.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons:It was slightly hard to install into the case, but it was just my hand size.-lack of instructions as to where the rubber washers go

Pros:-Keeps my i5 2500k cool as needed (23 idle, 50 load) o.c-ed to 3.8gHz from 3.3 stock. (room temp + case might be factors too)-very solid build, dense fins-comes with resistor cable to quiet the fan
Comment:
Got this bad boy for 20 bucks, which was awesome.Put it into my rig of i5 2500k CPU in a Corsair 600T SE case. The top fan of the case made it slightly harder to screw in the top few screws by hand, but overall this heat sink is very solid.Over clocked easily to 3.8 (probably 4.0ghz+ and still be stable). This thing over shadows even some liquid cooling solutions; definitely a good buy (especially at 20bucks).

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons:Pretty big

Pros:A pretty quiet fan
Comment:
I got an Antec P280 case, it was a close fit. It looks great as well. My co-worker put this together for me. He said it was an unsual installation so make sure to read the manual or paper.I have an I7 over-clocked (don't know how much) I average around 40 Celsius on normal load. I use PC-Wizard to see my temperature. I actually looking for a better software that tells my load and temperature..Just Make sure you case is wide enough, bigger than 8 inches. It's pretty quiet so far and it looks nice. Coolmaster might be better, but it's worth it on sale.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons:Large, blocks memory socket, poor instructions

Pros:Looks pretty
Comment:
The quick install guide was badly done. Completely skipped the step where you screw the top plate to the base. Do you need the rubber grommets or not? Had to check online for better instructions. 'Universal' mount works as poorly as any one size fits all product. The fan blocks 1 mem socket, so if I end up picking up more ram I need a new cooler. Fan is 3 pin, not the 4 pin header on my mobo.

Accessible at local shops at competitive prices as nicely as on the net. Keeps things nice and cool. Lots of alternatives to mount. Thermal paste included, looks cool. expert packaging. Keeps items incredibly cool. AMD clip worked nicely. size( barly fits in complete size case, had to order thin 80mm fan mainly because the side fan that I had wouldn't fit with this installed. I required a new cpu fan fast since I believed my old 1 would function with my new board, well it didn't. I wasn't going to wait a week for a single to come on the internet and my neighborhood nationwide electronics retailer had a off-brand 1 for ฮ and this for า so I went with the name I've seen ahead of. Surprised it wasn't much additional then on the web and this producct is carried in most of there retailers, the one particular that clams to be the finest buys and has all those yellow price tags. So if you will need the fan asap purchase from them, if not, obtain for less here and you'll nevertheless have a great product without the retail retailer mark-up.

Much quieter than my stock HSF.Took my Q6600 from 72C at load down to 47C at load. That's a 25C drop, quite extremely impressive. Overclocked to 2.8 GHZ and I was staying at 50-51C.Overall a extremely solid performer in it's value class if you can get it for below ฬ (I paid ฦ soon after rebate). There are better heatsinks out there, but they expense a lot far more.If you are seeking to make your Pc quieter over the stock heatsink, or only want to do moderate overclocking, this unit is worth a appear. It's significant, if your case isn't at least 7.75" wide it most likely won't fit. I detracted 1 egg for the horrible directions in the box, the web based directions are a lot greater, but net directions truly doesn't assist you if your Computer motherboard is taken out. The web based directions ought to be in the box, not on the net exactly where your users can't see them mainly because their Pc is taken apart. It was uncomplicated for me to install due to the fact I've installed tons of heatsinks just before, but for a novice the poor directions would likely pose some challenges. For a 775 socket board you don't require to put the black washers on the mountring bracket.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons:Unidirectional install, 3 pin fan .

Pros:Cheap (on sale), easy install (on Intel), good cooling, silent, included themal paste in syringe format and there's plenty.
Comment:
I never really looked at this cooler but it was on sale when i bought my CPU and the reviews were good so i gave it a try. I am satisfied, the airflow is good but can only be placed vertically, not really an issue in most cases. The installation on a intel is ridiculously easy thanks to a very effective clamping system (didn't try it on AMD). I would recommend.

I really should not have to search the net. I have to install with instructions in hand. And by the way. I did discover much better directions on your site. A pdf. It stated maintain the plastic ,its a insolater and protects the mobo, and mentioned mount the top plate to the block or cooler. No location in them directions did it say or show anything about the washers tho. Now two days later. I see the corsair support tech got back with me and said. Preserve the plastic, and mentioned, the washers go amongst the back plate and the mobo. Nicely that is just good. I already have mounted and making use of the computer now. Oh ya. the tech guys did not say anything about mounting the leading bracket to the cooler. Ha ha, you guys just talk to hear your selves speak. Do any of you know anything about any of this stuff.. I will bet them washers are for the 1366 install. Its socket is larger than the 1156. The a50 back plate fits great over the 1156 cpu socket back plate. If making use of the washers it would stand off and in no way touch anything and would not need the plastic isolater either. All of this sucks. I wish I did not get or use your cooler. If my mobo is ruined. I will do all I can to make you replace it, brand new just like I just purchased. This is your fault. Your poor instructions really should be much better in the box- period.
