I'm positive they operate fantastic for some people. They didn't for me. Anything really strange. I use an Asus P6T SE board, which is X58, and these sticks gave me practically nothing but difficulty. Of course there are problems that come along with mixing brands and overloading your MB with voltage problems, but even employing these sticks alone gave me the exact same freezes in games. I had them for a grand total of about 4 hours ahead of repackaging them for return. They have a wonderful fanbase, but for some purpose they just would not execute for me.

Strong trustworthy memory at a good price tag. will run at specs, but is unstable if overclocked These were my initial corsairs and I like them alot. I liek attempting out differnt vendors so I am not the most loyal client. It is just enjoyable to me. However, I believe I may have discovered my brand .

Good timings tight, fast memory access, excellent for gaming!! What else can you ask for??? Greatest plus, is that they appear amazing! They are a bit taller than your regular RAM sticks, so if you are getting a HSF, then take this into consideration. None however. They fit fine in my setup just make certain to put them in 1st. They are a tiny high-priced if you are not an overclocker. Ram is amazing, set XMP, no worries. Has the mini connectors on it like the GT's. Practically nothing. There is a CAS7 CMP DDR3 3x2gb model, that would be a great a single as well. But theyre so close on efficiency... With the X58 system and Corsair, all I have to do is make positive its i7 compatible. Uncomplicated breezy. I loved installing the ram, saved it for final.

quick and reliable posted suitable 1st time on my evga motherboard. Corsair makes the best ram! obtain it worth each and every penny. none for now, but i'm certain it will final long enough to become outdated. be cautious with huge heatsinks may well block one particular of the ram slots specifically with the heatsinks on the ram sticking up a small higher than some other people.

Works just like its suppose as well. Effortless set up. Defaulted to 1333 so some bios adjustments are a need to. Paired these with an amd 1090t and an msi 890fx g70 in a dual channel mode. Functions beautifully. Went with this as a recommendation of quailty and they have been appropriate. Corsair Psu's are nicely created as well. High quality product and packaging. Defaults to 1333

All 3 sticks came and worked so no random dead sticks! (there have been numerous with 1 stick DOA so yeah) For persons finding the i7's. They only recognize 800Mhz and 1066Mhz so you would require to OC to get higher speeds to post. Otherwise fantastic ram, high quality company and item. none that I can assume of

Sturdy, well constructed, no inexpensive spreaders.Look outstanding, really feel heavy, no difficulties installing.three superb sticks, post and 6G 1st bootThe timings genuinely didn't budge passed ratings, but I was capable to drop voltage to 1.6V and run them at primarily 1700 for an I7 at 4G.8-eight-eight-20 2N, 1691 @ 1.6V Stable (not crazy, but decent) Mail in rebates just suck... A tiny tall, nearly touches Noctua heatsink (more the Noctua's fault) Want solid sticks? You can't go wrong with these. Corsair continually obtaining reliable evaluations these days. These won't push to Cas 7 if you're interested -- At least not at 1600 or larger. The voltage is surprisingly flexible, haven't tried dropping below 1.6V, but figured that was far more than satisfactory running stock timings at 1700.Overall, would advocate to any person looking for old trusted. Will not get crazy timings, but I bet these will last a extended time and not let me down.I7 930 ʄGhzASUS P6X58D-ENoctua NH D14 (this mobo/ram/sink barely fits)

Solid physical construction. Great packaging. These had been supposed to be a "matched set" however I got 2 sticks that showed in my BIOS setup as CMP6GX3M3A1600C8 like they were supposed to, and a single stick that showed up as CM3X2G1333C9D which tends to make me doubt Corsair's good quality manage. The stickers on all three sticks indicated CMP6GX3M3A1600C8 which was even far more troubling. Looks like they got some chips mixed up at the factoty.

works as expected and superior. nonetheless expensive. incredibly tall memory chips. My CPU cooler fan no longer fits and I have to move the fan. Make certain it fits your motherboard/cpu cooler/fan. More facts below. I initially got OCZ Gold 1600MHz for my i7-930 build. Those memory won't even run stable at stock speed 1600MHz 8-eight-24 1.64v. Computer system freezes immediately after 1 hour of prime95. I had to transform memory multiplier to run those at 1400MHz to be stable. Dominator works correct out of the box, and run stable overnight on Prime95/intel burn test at 1750MHz eight-eight-24 1.64v. No query about it - Dominator is way better than OCZ Gold (not the very same grade of memory anyway).A single problem I have with these memory - they are about 2X taller than OCZ Gold. (and a lot heavier too, which is excellent issue). The PCB is taller, plus the huge heat spread on major. My CPU cooler fan won't install on top rated of the memory chips any longer. Luckily the CPU cooler makes it possible for the fan to be installed on the other side and my case has a leading exhaust fan so it worked ultimately. No temp alter in CPU right after the change. My develop:i-7 930Gigabyte X58A-UD3RScythe Mugen 2 Rev
