No mess to set up.Quiet pump. Two 120mm fans - not too quiet even though.Match is great but could be superior attached.Good thick radiator for good heat disappation. Hoses could be a bit longer.Plastic components of the mounting method really should be metal.Put the factory supplied TIM in a tube so these who want a different substance don't have to clean off the stock stuff. No real uncomplicated/casual means to tell if the pump is seriously operating. Howerver, my MB will not run if the pump doesn't work so I am safe there (only since the pump is plugged into the CPU fan plug).Custom mounted just beneath the 200mm fan in my Antec 1200 case.

I went from 40-41 degrees idle and 55-57 degrees Prime95 load with the stock AMD cooler, to 27-28 idle, and 40-41 Prime95 load. All the when getting just a tiny more than whisper quiet. I am expecting the temp to decrease, however, as the Thermal Paste I employed instead of the pre-installed stuff hasn't been burned in yet. (Installed yesterday, has been running Prime95 because 2 hours soon after the set up)It was a challenging fit in a RoseWill Challenger, it covers up perhaps 1ǘ an inch of the 140mm best fan. I also had to take away the top side fan, simply because it was hitting it.AMD Phenom II 955BE @ three.8GHzCorsair Hydro H70 Liquid coolerGA-870-UD3 Motherboard2x2GB G.Ability 1333MHz DDR32x4GB GeIL 1066MHz DDR3BFG Tech GTX 280RoseWill Challenger Black Gaming Case

In general I'm skeptical of water cooling systems but decided to take a possibility on this one because it was advertised as a self-contained zero maintenance unit. Extremely glad I picked this up as an alternative of the massive and heavy regular heatsink that came with my processor. The processor stays nice and cool and it was reasonably straightforward to install. Not seriously a con, but a heads-up: installing it into it's socket is a small weird until you truly do it. And I'll echo the advice other individuals have provided here to put the bracket on Really loosely and then tighten it down immediately after the cooler unit is twisted into place below the socket tabs. Worth every single penny! Watch the videos Corsair has floating around, they assist a lot.

It's a really excellent beginners watercooling resolution that requires no maintenance. The stock thermal paste is pretty good, I assume its Shin-Etsu. The performance is on par with most high finish air coolers. Also it looks a lot neater and cooler than getting a massive chunk of aluminum sticking out of the motherboard. I would of provided it 4 stars but I had to RMA mine because right after a couple days the pump started generating a loud rattling noise. I've study similar issues on Corsair's help forum as properly. The value/performance worth isn't as very good as high end air coolers. I didn't see any improvement over my Scythe Mugen two. The H70 was my first step into watercooling. I will possibly go with a XSPC kit with my next personal computer.

Awesome look! Cool temps. Thermal compound that is preapplied is great! Guidelines are horrible. Only cause it dropped 1 egg. If you individuals believe this factor has loud fans, try the thermaltake frio. I have this on a core i5 750 OC'ed to four.two GHZ in a CM storm scout case. The pump is louder than the fans at 100% output. These fans would only be loud if there was absolutly no area noise. Even then, I can barley hear them more than my case fans.

Specification and testimonials are outstanding from what I study and watched. Now, if I can just make it fit with the ASUS P8P67 M-Pro, it would be fantastic. People today acquire and assemble these components possibly on weekends and following function. How can Corsair only answer tech support get in touch with from 8AM to 5PM from Monday by way of Friday? On their help webpage, right after entering information and facts, it informs me that Corsair will contact me after 24 hours. Can you hear me now? Very disappointing and anti-climatic. I got i7-2600k, RevoDrive x2 240GB, 16GB RAM, 6950 2GB, 700TX, and Corsair 600t ready to be assembled; but, I am stuck considering the the bracket doesn't fit. I want the H70 to work with the Asus P8P67 M-Pro.

Looks cool. Fits LGA 1155. Not as well hard to install. Cools an OC'd Intel 2600K extremely effectively. I seriously wanted this program to be quiet. Plugged it into my technique and was horrified by how loud the fan are. The three pin fan connectors don't play properly with the 4 pin CPU and Chassis Fan connections on my ASUS P8P67 Deluxe. The fans scream at 1500 rpm. Rolled more than and spent and extra fifity dollars on two four pin PWM fans. Technique is now whisper quiet with fans spinning at 𞶎 rpm. How substantially a lot more would it have been to incorporate PWM fans?

Installation was straightforward, temp reduction was remarkable. My system temp was 32c and now 28c, my cpu temp was 38c idle and now 31c idle. Hoses must be twice as long to offer solution for outdoors mounting. Efficiency of this cooler is stellar. With my air cooler gone I had capability to set up a NB cooler wኘmm fan pushing 28 cfm and my NB temp went from 48c to 36c. Soon after ordering and prior to arrival of cooler, verify out youtube set up movies and you will be prepared to go when it arrives. A single factor, when putting in pump, hold pump away from cpu when locking into place, this will prevent paste from becoming disturbed and present appropriate coverage for burn in. It's my opinion that this is almost certainly why some high temps have been reported.

Keeps my OC'd i7 920 cool Ɠ.4Ghz). I no longer hit the greater temps I did with a stock cooler. Allows better airflow in the technique. Y cable placement was a tiny confusing at very first. I utilised one particular of my already mounted case fans (Antec 1200) to substitute one of the new fans. I wouldn't contact it silent operation because it has two 120mm fans cooling the heat exchanger.

This thing is fairly quiet as well as cheap for a water cooler. So far it meets my expectations for water cooling my 2600K! The guidelines are a small bland and I regrettably installed this when the motherboard was already in the case! I very advise you install the cpu bracket just before placing the MB into the case!

Substantially quieter than anticipated (both fans and pump). Keeps my i7950 @ four.0ghz on prime95 below 60C (help from my haf932). Little con, but did not come with the appropriate screw configuration to attach both fans and to the inside of the case. But everyone like me has a handfull of other computer system screws and made it operate. (fans solid and mount solid). I assume that they could have added and inch or two to the hoses but thats just me. General, this issue rocks.

With the pc at rest the CPU is registering 25C. Normal usage the temp goes up to 27 to 30C. On hammering the CPU Ɩ core AMD) with all cores operating at fundamentally one hundred% (for 1 hour / video rendering) the temp went no further than 41C. Outstanding to say the least. Shame you have to get rid of the MB - CPU back plate and fit their plastic one. It would have been a lot superior if it could have worked employing the shielded a single on the MB. Installed on a new machine build. Worth watching a video on Youtube but is reasonably effortless to install. Just before putting in the complete unit (fans and radiator) on a new create make certain there are no connectors that could become shadowed and tough to get at.

Does what its suppose to keeps my cpu around 20c when idle and I haven't observed it go over 35c yet.I have a AMD x6 1100T processor and I am utilizing the paste that came with the cooler none so far. Fans aren't that loud I don't consider. they are wide although so much so that in the Azza Solano 1000R i can't fit each of them in with no hitting into the main side fan. I will cut a single of the fans at some point, but for not I am only using one and acquiring individuals temps I am pleased overall

Looks good, nicely built, wonderful packaging. No ding in rating as I by no means got it mounted. Doesn't look to perform with LGA 1155 boards. I have the revised Asus Sabertooth P67. The back plate fit, but not properly. The prime mount just does not let adequate clearance to mount the cooling unit. On Corsairs web site, there seems to be some inconsistency as to regardless of whether it supports 1155. I know the general consensuses is that 1155򕍔 in fit, but not in this situation… I am waiting to hear back from Corsair on this. Will update my review with any update.

Despite my misgivings of a liquid system that doesn't need maintenance I have to say the H70 is one of the ideal for anybody seeking for a strict CPU heatsink. when linked with a Windtunnel X-Clio the radiator gets all the ventilation it requires to keep an optimal liquid speak to. I have however to see any leaks although offered the sealed containment I doubt I'll see any. the stock thermal paste seems kind of redundant when you ship a Xigmatek paste with the order. to these who want to use the Xigmatek I would suggest utilizing a Q-tip, dose it in acetone and gently begin to clean off the TIM with cloth towel or greater but coffee filters to greater absorb the excess acetone.

Fit perfectly in my Corsair 600t. Set up as an Intake it idles close to area temperature and has under no circumstances broken 40c on my overclocked Phenom II x4. Coolant tubes are a tiny brief so it makes mounting in some cases near impossible. Additional cooler than I'll ever need with my AMD Phenom but I was fed up with shopping for unsatisfactory coolers.

Quite successful cooling system. Idle temps dont see substantially of a lower but the overclocking is exactly where this thing actually shines. Running an Athlon ii X3 450 at 4.0Ghz Ɠ.2Ghz stock) and after practically three hours of Prime 95 my temps have however to exceed 48c. Uncomplicated installation and extremely cool seeking in my situation. Noise is a bit of a con but for the temps im finding im not as well worried about it. Corsair recommends you mount the push pull so its pulling air from the outdoors and exhausting into your case..its made my systemp rise a handful of degrees but once more..not as well worried. Make certain you can fit this poor boy in your situation...once installed my side panel wouldnt go back on my Rosewill Challenger..had to do some fabricating to get it back on. I dont feel one thing deserves 5 eggs unless it betters what you replaced and doesnt negatively impact anything else...and the enhanced noise and heat unfortunantly do. But sides individuals variables this is a great cooler..would suggest to a person seeking for a solid overclocking cpu cooler...you wont be disappointed :)

This beats hanging two pounds of copper and aluminum off my 赀 motherboard, stressing it to death, plus it assists 169% with general situation airflow.I reduce out the rear grated 120 exhaust hole in the CM690 II situation. Mounted 1 fan outside the situation. I am pulling/pushing air from inside the situation by way of the radiator and realizing excellent cooling with 99% much less dust and particulate matter. And I reside in a dusty rural atmosphere. The intake fans are all extra-filtered beyond what the 690 provides. I adjust individuals filters every two weeks. Low-cost material/great filtration. Positive air pressure inside situation, benefits in very tiny dust inside the situation or inside the radiator. Just what I want. Keeps the overclocked CPU good and cool too.Just hope the device lasts close to 50,000 hours just before failure. That would make it a wonderful obtain!Hook your pump up to 1 of your case fan connectors (if you personal an MSI board) a lot more juice readily available at those than at the CPU fan 4pin connector. The finish on the copper clad heat transducer was fairly deeply grained, and expected 100% flat/smooth, nearly mirrored lapping. But I lapped the CPU as nicely (violated each warranties)..but the benefits are SPECTACULAR, so far. two hours of methodical sanding on both units resulted in 9 degrees C reduction in idle and overclocked temps @ the CPU. I suppose you can get that with the major hunks of finned metal, but you still have the weight/stress to contend with. I've got a wind tunnel, keeps anything chilly. I burned the new program in for three weeks prior to swapping out the stock AMD HSF (not a negative unit actually), but was afraid to OC with it. I popped the chip up from three.3Ghz to 3.5Ghz a couple of times, and noticed the cpu temps rise to 43-44C.Now I've got the 560BE overclocked (just multiplier) to three.7Ghz stable...and the CPU temps by no means rise above 34C @ 12 hours of Prime95.But then once more, I'm operating three 140's and two 120's not counting the Corsair push pull 120s. Exceptional!
