CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 Desktop Memory
Cons:Rated at "CL9" in the review, this RAM is actually CL9-10-9. Not that it really matters.

Pros:Works great, passes Memtest with no problems! Doesn't tangibly feel faster than my old DDR3-1600 but I didn't expect it to.
Comment:
Fantastic, stable RAM. Out of the last 15 matched pairs of Corsair RAM sticks (about 30 sticks total) I've had only 2 individual sticks that had stability problems and would fail Memtest. Both were RMA'ed to Corsair and the replacements have no issues. Highly recommended!

CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 Desktop Memory
Comment:
Bought these mainly because they had been not only the cheapest 2x4GB DDR3-1866 offered, they have been also the only ones rated at 1.5v. The timings are little looser than other kits, but those are presently significantly more expensive and run at larger voltage. I was hoping these would match my older 2x2GB 1866 kit, which was rated at 9-9-9-24 1.6v. They did not. I run at DDR3-1760, and I could tighten down the old 2x2GB kit to 8-8-8-24-1N at 1.5v. This Corsair kit would not POST at that setting. Granted, denser kits don't usually respond as nicely to tweaking. I did get them to POST at 8-9-8-24-1N, DDR3-1760. They weren't absolutely steady combined with my older kit at that speed, and considering that I didn't see that significantly difference, I just run the four stick combo at 9-9-9-24-1N, 1.5v, DDR3-1760, with my memory controller at the min voltage. Not undesirable for a mixed batch totaling 12GB. I'm certain I could tighten issues up with move voltage on the sticks, the controller, or both. This is on an Asus p55 motherboard.

Wonderful memory runs as advertised on a Asus P8P67 Deluxe mobo no problems. I have often regarded as Corsair solutions to be of high excellent but for some strange reason the heat sinks on one of my sticks started to come off and I noticed that it was only a piece of light tin held together with a paper label and fastened to the sick with white foam style double stick tape? I did not take an egg off my rating for this simply because I recently ran technique tension test with the case side door open and whilst the CPU cores had been hitting 55 degrees Celsius the memory sticks have been not even warm to the touch so I’m thinking that Corsair Dominator series strong metal heat sinks are not necessary? It was a little tricky to get this memory to initialize adequately on this Asus mobo ought to choose XMP setting and DDR3 1866 memory profile in the sophisticated BIOS memory setting to get it to function correct. Excellent RAM. Went into BIOS, ran XMP profile, booted into Windows, started gaming. For what it's worth, raised Windows 7 memory score to 7.9. Running in the BIOSTAR TP67XE with a 2600k. None, as of but. Don't count on any. Never ever had a difficulty with any Corsair item I've ever owned, & I've owned fairly a couple of. Specs appear amazingQuickly ramCan be OC'ed nicely A single stick began to result in troubles, and had to RMA with Corsair, the process is long, and expense me more than it ought to have. Makes me wonder if I should acquire parts like these locally instead (as substantially as I adore newegg). The RMA with Corsair is taking forever as I reside in Canada, and had to invest ฤ just to ship a little thin package 鳖g) of ram to California... Ridiculous!

idk I'm not certain the MB issue or the memory situation. It only runs stable at 1333Mhz Even I manually set all voltage & timing, it won't boot at 1866 Mhz. It can boot in at 1600 Mhz but the MB will reset just about every instances if the technique is fresh commence up. Overall, I think it's MB's problem. But MSI claim it's chipest or intel's concern. I sent a titcket to Corsair for two small business day now, no reponse but. Kinda slow in my opinion.I have been deal with other brands before, they utilised to reply in 1-2 company days. My CPU is 2500kMB is MSI P67 GD55. PSU is 650W from OCZAsus GTX 460 Not a pleased custmor, considering that I paid premium cost but don't run at premium speed..Must just acquire these low cost 1333Mhz set

easy to set up Sadly when it was installed it began crashing my laptop or computer. I ran both cards by way of memtest to which it failed almost instantaneously. After operating games for a handful of minutes the pc crashes, to which i checked online working with the crash info. It all points towards the RAM cards which i just sent back and got a new set.... to which i am also receiving the identical concerns as the 1st set. Type of a let down following spending alot on this new laptop or computer, and following seeing this set of RAM cards come extremely rated. Manufacturer Response:Please contact Tech Support. When working with OCing RAM, there are specified BIOS adjustments that may well enable with stability.External Link(s): Corsair Tech Help|

Fired ideal up in XMP at rated speed and voltage as advertised. You just can't beat truthful specifications. I wanted Mushkin but they had absolutely nothing comparable. As often, yet another exceptional Corsair item.Completely compatible with P67's. Extremely Tall heatsinks. 1st slot in my ASUS P8P67 DELUXE is blocked by my Prolimatech Megahalems Rev. B, but I knew this going in. I just mentioned it so you'll know this limitation. Buy a Corsair H70 if you want four sticks and aren't going to run a full watercooling technique. You'll in no way regret it. I figured 8GB is all I'll ever want so no real challenge. I'm switching to a complete watercooling loop in a few days anyway so there will be no blockage of the slot if I discover purpose to add a different set.Possibly doesn't run as specified with AMD but that doesn't bother me in the slightest.
