Purchased the Canon G11 for my wife as Christmas present. This replaced our 5 year old Sony Cybershot. This camera is leaps and bound better than the Sony. The first picture we took straight out of the box was great. Some people may find that the Canon S90 is a better buy since its basically the same camera for less $$$, but I like the feel and look of the G11 and the swing out and reversible LCD screen is great.
