Good value BUT.....
Comment:
I couldn't wait to get my new MP3 player BUT when I did it came with no instruction. OK, I went online and learned how to use it. My issue is it's so small and has only one button for many many functions.

Not a bad mp3 plyr for 20 bucks.

Works good for a bargin mp3 player, screens are kind of hard to read but has some good features for the $ spent, data storage feature is cool as well. I'll give it a 7.

good cheap player
Comment:
You get what you pay for, this can be bad or good, you are not getting a quality ipod here you are getting a cheap mp3 player that can hold other media. If you read everything about it and still buy it no disappointment necessary . I use it for walking around campus and in the car and it works great! sound is ok nothing fantastic but it was only $20.00 so quite happy with overall purchase

the mp3 4gb player worked okay, the earphones are pretty low-rent but they work. If anything it will be used as a usb drive at school.

Good product for price
Comment:
I've had this mp3 for 4 months now, and for its price it's alright. there is no menu and its it is extremely difficult to go thru songs. its like a shuffle but it organizes the songs by artists, so there is not much of a variety, u gotta listen thru all the songs of the artist, then it plays the next artists' songs. if u drop the mp3 it will shut off. kinda hard to put songs on it. other than that its a pretty decent mp3.

I bought 2 players, 1 for my 8 year old daughter and 1 for myself. Navigation is difficult for the features but if you want to just push and play, it works fine. It sounds great! It's small enough to be easily carried around just about anywhere. Durability-wise, my daughter left hers in her jeans pocket and it survived our washer and dryer without any problem. Cheap and no frills but perfect for a child's first mp3 player(plus I won't cry if I crush it at work either)!!

Was disappointed because it would freeze up while I was skiing. Apparently, it is easily affected by the temperature. So, don't take it skiing. Otherwise, it is fine.

although this is a very good mp3 player,I cannot recommend it to anyone anyone. why would a company put out a great product, with out the bells and whistles? no user manual, regis card, software? i purchased 4 for my kids. the player itself is quite elegant, but still hard to figure out even for the average geek. imagine the elderley, children and non geekish folk who have purchase it or recieve as a gift. no way. Centron has the user guide online but thats not where they belong! unaqcceptable!(oh,the instructions online are for a completly different player ALTOGETHER it's not even the same software/menus. For 3 weeks I have called and left messages to the support team... my emails wont go through because of a internet error on their website. Manager posted a promising message in a review for another mp3 player. Dont believe it,musta been a used carsalesman. I havent got any reply. Dont buy this product, put your money into a mp3 player with the ''Complete Package''

I loaded it up with music from my kids PC. They had enough classic rock to keep me happy. When a ''bad'' song comes on I quickly go into the folders menu and it is a easy delete. I use it at work and the 4 GB flash drive has comes in handy. This cost alot less than a Nano and if music is what you want this is it for under $20.

Well, I ordered this in the beginning of July. It worked Great, the navigation was annoying but I got used to it. Well I haven't been known to be 'gentle' with my electronics, but I was surprised when I crashed on my bike for the first time and the screen cracked. Didn't break it though, you could still read The LCD Etc. But in the beginning of October, Whenever I'd plug it into my computer, or any computer, it would say that I needed to format the drive, But when I Tried to format the drive, Oops drive can not be formated. And now the play button doesn't even work. I Only recommend this product if your giving it to someone you don't like that much and arn't going to see/hear from after 4 months.

The one I received has crippled navigation - you can only get out of a directory by scrolling manually past every file between where you are and the end of the directory. It looks to me as if this command structure was designed by someone who does not see any reason to navigate a hierarchy of files and find a particular file, or even go to a particular directory. If all you want is to be able to hear some of your songs and you don't care which, this should do the job. Since in normal mode when it reaches the end of one directory it starts playing the next, it would be possible to use it without doing any navigation at all, and be quite pleased with it, if all you wanted from it was to hear some songs. But one of my purposes for an MP3 player is language study; I need to be able to shift between different folders of lessons and drills and foreign songs. And for that purpose, this device is the worst MP3 player I have ever tried.

I bought this unit because I just couldn't put enough variety on my 2GB Sandisk. I was hesitant because I didn't know who Centon was and more hesitant when I opened the package. The unit is about the size of a large BIC lighter and weighs less than my Sandisk. I said oh-oh, how cheap is this?!? Well, don't let that stop you. After loading about 800 tunes into it, it was time for a test drive. NICE! Once you get used to navigating around it's a beautiful thing. Here is the best part. No unknown artist/unknown album. After I dragged my tunes to the unit all file names, band names etc. displayed. Good volume, the preset eq's are all you need to customize the sound. The earbuds are okay but the ones that cam with the Sandisk had better sound. You can't go wrong with this one.

I paid 22 bucks for this mp3 player when it was on sale. I got it because I dont like takeing my Sansa mountain biking. When I ordered it I didn't think I would like it. But I really have to say if you want an affordable mp3 player just for music this one is perfect. The only reason I gave it only four stars for features is it doesn't come with instructions. But if you have used an mp3 player before its not hard to figure out.

Absolutely worth the money (especially at $24 CAD on sale). Easy to use. Good battery life. I personally prefer that it uses an AAA battery, so I can take it camping and not worry about how to recharge it! It almost perfectly doubles as a USB key, at just a few dollars more. Its a bit bigger than a USB key, but thats about the only downside from using it as a USB key. The player works with folders, so you can store your mp3's any which way youd like! I will be buying more of these! :)

Everything arrived quickly and completely intacked, as per TigerDirect's usual high standards, and I have been using this MP3 player for about 10 days without a problem. Be aware that there are no instructions included and you must go to their website to get them. Fairly simple to operate, nothing fancy. Sound is pretty good and it runs all day on one battery. Earphones are not very comfortable for me, but few are. I ordered the JVC Marshmellow Earbuds to use with this player. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a low cost MP3 player.

I bought 2 of these. 1 for my wife who is always at the gym and 1 for me. I use mine along with an FM transmitter in my work vehicle. I drive all day long and this is better than listening to radio stations that play the same songs every hour. I also listen to it while I mow my acre lot on my riding mower. I would highly reccomend this to anyone who likes to listen to music on the go.

Bought this player after my previous ones were stolen - it replaced an old 512MB iPod Shuffle and a 2GB Sandisk. At first I was worried about the brand I'd never heard of and the surprisingly low price for 4GB of space. So far I've been pleasantly surprised :) The sound is great, including the Bass function. Battery life also seems very good. I also noticed the ''cheap'' feeling of the plastic cap, but it hasn't fallen apart or broken on me, and I've dropped it at least once a day. I read reviews that some owners had trouble with the unit shutting off with motion/bumping, but this only happened when I put a physically smaller battery in it... so if you have this problem, try a bulkier AAA (such as a rechargeable one). My only complaint at all is that you can't seem to define your own equalizer, but with the various presets given, it's more than good enough as-is. Bottom line: my experience is that this player is well worth the money.

Good product for the money but the end-cap that covers the USB connector is not secure. Having to remove the cap to replace the battery is not good and constant on-off will loosen it more.
