Great ram, as stated, mobo will read it as 1333 on boot, but just reset to 1600 and your gold. Height is a little high, but get the low profile vengance if thats a concern.

My mobo shows 1333MHz at default. No worry, just set it back to 1600. I have no comparison, so can't tell whether its faster than competition or not. Its quick enough so that it doesn't feel like it bottlenecks my system.The fins looks great, but it will be in the way if you have a large heatsink/fan (I have a CM 212 Evo)

Killer Cost. Initially I virtually bought a 12 GB Kit but then I saw that the individual sticks had บ coupons every. So, I saved ฮ plus the sale price.I'm running a Core i7 950 and this ram is quite rapid. The heat-sinks are pretty tall. Tends to make for a extremely tight match for some setups.

Excellent quality and great looking RAM. Exactly as stated and had no issue installing. It overclocks easily as it is setup to be used with higher frequencies as long as you set the voltage high enough, this stuff can handle what you throw at it. You can't go wrong with Corsair !

Bought two of these at an good value and it operates as advertised on an ASUS P8P67. Heatsinks are too tall to fit in A1 slot on ASUS P8P67 when a CPU aftermarket heatsink is installed.

So far so great, I haven't employed a lot to give a complete commentary, but I will right here a couple months. Also impressive visually. None, thus far. I would like to point this out, I almost didn't obtain this ram mainly because two comments pointed out the heat-spreaders have been either low cost or hollow plastic, and I was perplexed that plastic would be utilized due to the fact it would truly have a unfavorable cooling effect, so right after searching at corsair's web site I found they are made of aluminum. Fantastic price tag for RAM, I got them at โ each and every and am searching to get another 8gb and am prepared to spend more when I do. Each worked out of the box and I haven't had any concerns with overall performance. Stickers are corny(but I don't have a window in my case so it doesn't matter)The heatsinks were a little sloppy seeking in look, not as nice as the dominator series but I haven't had any issues so who cares? Wonderful worth, I've pointed out this product to many buddies who will probably buy based on my recommendation.

The ram is running just fine now. Not positive how overclockable it is with my present rig... AMD Phenom II x6 1055T and Asus M4A79XTD EVO AM3. 1 of the two sticks had errors... Newegg replaced it. Every person really should download and use Memtest86+ to test any ram they obtain.

Picked this up for a cheap HTPC build cant complain works flawlessly and has a very nice heatsink on it although id tell people with aftermarket cpu heatsink to be careful as the ram heatsink is very tall and could interfere. Would buy again

The heat tape also means you can remove the heatsink if needed. I know because this just happen to me where I need to remove the heatsink or remove the modual.Used a clipper stix to pry the hinge and pulled the modual free. Works fine.

The heat sinks keep the ram cool rapid ram no troubles what so ever anything you would expect out of corsair and much more cant actually say there are any cant speak for costumer support as i have in no way had to use it on a corsair item they are develop incredibly well and tough buy it don't even assume about it anymore just purchase it
