Corsair Valueselect PC2700 512MB DDR333 200PIN SODIMM Memory
Cons:None

Pros:Cheap and works great
Comment:
Had a laptop in the basement that I thought would work well for my wife (so she'd stay off my computer, haha) but it needed some RAM as it only had... 128MB. So I picked up two of these and they work great in that old Dell Inspiron 8600.

Cons:None

Pros:PnP worked just fine
Comment:
Hard to believe that a 512MB RAM module is being purchased today, but the system had a 1GB max. with a 512MB module already installed. Bought it for $17, plugged it in and ran memtest86 without any problems.

Corsair Valueselect PC2700 512MB DDR333 200PIN SODIMM Memory
Cons:Didn't work with HP Pavilion ze5385us

Pros:Price was very good
Comment:
Does not work with HP Pavilion ze5385us notebook. It fits with no problem but the system does not recognize the memory. I think the original memory is PC2100 and this is PC2700 which is slightly faster. On many systems it would work with no problems but again *not* with the HP Pavilion ze5385us.

Cons: Expensive

Pros: Worked great
Comment:
I got this for an aging laptop. It could only accept 512MB per slot so two of them was as good as it was going to get. It's expensive but I'd rather spend a few extra dollars than send a perfectly good computer to the recycler.

Corsair Valueselect PC2700 512MB DDR333 200PIN SODIMM Memory
Cons:None so far

Pros:It worked.Easy to install.
Comment:
Worked without problem. I upgraded my Toshiba Satellite A10 from 2x256mb to 1x256+1x512. Upgrade was instantly detected by both Windows and Linux. Also ran memtest without any errors. It was my first time upgrading laptop memory, so I didn't realise I had to pry the two metal locks on either side before pulling the original module out. But after that, it's pretty self explanatory. Very easy to install.

Picked a few of these up for several older laptops and all of them had worked nicely. No compatibility issues; Double sided stick. Great for older laptops with limited slots/bank support, or does not accept large amounts of memory.

Cons:none yet

Pros:cheapworks in my acer
Comment:
bought this to upgrade the memory in my acer 3100, went from 512mb to two of these for 1024mb. with the onboard video using 64mb, 448mb didn't leave much room for any large programs that i may have to use (online training at work, usb obd2 software, noise vibration harshness software). as a plus, winxp now loads and runs faster. very good value, and compatible with acer.

Comment:
Knowing that laptops can be picky with ram, I decided to try this as it was inexpensive and crossing my fingers that it would work. Well it did'nt work in my hp even though it ran 2700 sodims. Would not boot. Sent it back and ncix gave me a full refund. Ncix is the best.

Cons:Not as high quality as other RAM.

Pros:Great price for performance.
Comment:
Although it's not as high a quality to other Corsair products, this RAM is a great price for that extra little performance you may need. I use it in my Toshiba laptop which runs Ubuntu Linux. It definately gave it that boost it needed.

Pros:good quality ram
Comment:
I bought this ram to upgrade my compaq R4000, it came with 2x256MB infineon, it worked, but wasnt the fastest, when i saw this at the price it was at (about the same price as the one stick of system select) i figured i would buy it, and after installing the modules, i noticed a dramatic increase in performance, even when running in a liveCD environmentdefinately worth the money

I have an Acer 3000 laptop that had 250M of Nanya pc2700 ram. Since it was loaded with XP and the video chip used 60 meg of the memory apps loaded really slow. Took 7 minutes minimum just to load the operating system. Removed the Nanya and installed 2 sticks of the Corsair ram and now it is one of the fastest computers I own. Completely satisfied.

I bought these ram for my benq S52 notebook (from 768mb to 1GB). It works great with my another 512mb ram and the system runs pretty stable. On the hand, the performance between 768mb to 1Gb ram isn't really noticeable, however it seems like running smoother for online game like world of warcraft.

Comment:
Got this to upgrade the 3 year old Toshiba laptop used by my special needs son. Makes everything run faster. Pretty good value when I bought it. Price has increased a bit since then. But a RAM upgrade is still the cheapest way to get more performance out of an older machine.
