Questionable.
Cons: Packaged was open when I got it.I wasn't sure bout this. Figured I put them in and see if they worked. My computer was acting up afterwards with not being able to startup on the first turn-on.
Pros: Practically the same as the ones currently in my comp. Comment:
I'm not too tech savy. I may have damaged the motherboard with my poking around and cant blame these memory sticks. In fact, my computer works fine and does see all my ram when it does turn on. |

So nice, had to buy it twice.
Cons: Not much, I think it might be just me, but they slip right into a standard DD2 slot. this has caused some issues in the past where they would get loose from the board every-so often when moving my PC about.
Pros: Good price and value for Ram + Heatsinks. I have not noticed them for the most part, so they do their job well without needing attention. Comment:

I ran memtest and it reported that the ram checked out fine, but I eventually pinpointed the problem to one of the two sticks and have had no more trouble after replacing the bad stickI didn't think that I would have any problems with this ram because of all the good reviews, but I did. |

Pros: Great RAM for the price. Bought a pair Feb of 08 for use in an Asus M2N-E mobo with an X2 4600+ and loved it. Stable, fast, reliable, and responsive. Bought a pair of Corsair from Tiger, and they were friggin huge, not like pictured, and didn't even work. As soon as I found out these were still available, snagged another pair and no problems at all with XPPro64 bit, and even runs Win7Pro64 smooth as silk. Great low-profile memory and stays cool to boot. Comment:
Keep these around, and I'll probably purchase more. |

Pros: bought this for a friend looking for a budget gaming PC build. I combined it with about 1gb of older corsair XMS memory ( 2x 512mb). Installed xp, and everything was going smooth. Comment:
Went to go install wireless drivers for his PCI wireless card and the computer had a freakout. at first I thought it may have been the old and new corsair RAM i thrown in the same computer (ddr2 800, XMS series), but then I realized the problems came from the wireless card's drivers. If you're on a budget, buy this memory. Corsair may not be as cheap as other brands, but they're reliable. I use them in every computer I've built or upgraded memory in. |

Cons: One of the modules failed after 45 days. RMA requires sending the pair back at customer's expense and make sure that you track shipment. Can be costly.

Okay for a while...
Cons: After a year of having this RAM in my system it definitely failed. Having the RAM in the system will change the whole BIOS defaults, give checksum ROM errors, and default your system to look for a floppy drive and then system halts if you don't have one...effectively cutting you out from getting into your bios or your system. This is the first time ever, I have had a RAM chip go faulty on me and I definitely know now to not buy from Corsair again.
Pros: Very fast, very easy to install, and all around good RAM but... Comment:

Cons: Now they sell 5-5-5-18 timing, which is a shame.
Pros: Mine was the 5-5-5-12 timing, and I have it running at 4-4-4-12, even though it's also overclocked from 800MHz to 912Mhz (or about, going from memory). The memory has been stable at that for 16 months now, never any problems or crashes.NOTE: There is no guarantee on the speed and timing of modules beyond what is stated (800MHz); however, given my success I think this RAM must be INCREDIBLY stable at stated specs. That is why I post the extra performance I eked out. Comment:

I have installed these in a few builds and no setup needed so far in a few different boards. Heatsinks keep these very cool even overclocked a bit. Very good product.
