CyberPower Intelligent LCD Series GreenPower UPS CP1000AVRLCD UPS
Cons:Blue power switch and display stays on when no power

Pros:Good battery reserve, lots of outlets, silent mode
Comment:
I've got this UPS since December 2011. I use it to power my cable modem (for land phone line and internet), my router, my Panasonic wireless phone base and my Synology NAS (which is also compatible with this Cyberpower model through USB). We recently got bad weather (July 2013) and lost power for 54 hours. I was home when we got the outtage so I turned off my Synology NAS manually and finalized my work on my laptop, took my emails and then shut down the ups to keep some reserve for later. The load on the UPS with all accessories was 0.058KW and estimated run time was 98 minutes. Plenty to finish what I was doing. The day after, power had not resume so I had work to do over the internet and get my emails. I turned on just the router and cable modem. The power reading was diplaying 0.000KW and estimated runtime 120 minutes. An hour after I had started the UPS, it was still displaying 120 minutes of reserve. And another hour after that one, was still displaying 120 minutes. I added my my cell phone charger that took 3 hours to charge and also connected my laptop to charge it.After all this, the UPS was up over 5 hours and was still displaying 70 minutes of reserve. PERFECT to keep land phone, internet, charge laptop and cell phone. I could not be "happier" with it.I wish I could have connected my refregirator on it but that is another story. I am really happy with this product. I got it at a great price when it was on special (109$ for a total of 120$ with tax and shipping). One of the best product I got in a long time and got it for cheap from a brand I did not knew (usually use APC). Cost me less at NCIX, even with shipping, than to get an APC model UPS locally here from ANY retailer.Shipping was quite fast too from NCIX. I am happy to have discover Cyberpower products and I would recommand this product to anybody.

CyberPower Intelligent LCD Series GreenPower UPS CP1000AVRLCD UPS
Cons:Small battery

Pros:Works greatCheap price on sale
Comment:
I bought this for my server and it works great! The battery is a little small and my server so it only gives me about 17 minutes of run time with not a lot going on on the server but that isn't horrible. It gives me plenty of time to shut down the system properly without corrupting any files on the drives. Shipping was good too. The box was in great condition and nothing was broken inside. That's always a plus :-) 5 stars here!

CyberPower Intelligent LCD Series GreenPower UPS CP1000AVRLCD UPS
Cons:-LED is on all the time

Pros:+Battery backup is as simple as plug it in+USB connection works flawlessly with Ubuntu+LCD displays info such as watts being outputted+3 year warranty
Comment:
There weren't too many reviews aside from the one on the 1500 model (http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=82&Itemid=71), so I was not too sure what to expect. It works great. Plugged it in, powered up my system, no problems. Ubuntu recognized it through the included USB cable without any problems. It sends the proper shutdown commands when the power runs out. What more can you ask?Battery life is a little less than what I was expecting (I will get about 18 minutes with a server/lcd attached+peripherals).

CyberPower Intelligent LCD Series GreenPower UPS CP1000AVRLCD UPS
Cons:No protection against accidental shutdown button

Pros:Works as intended
Comment:
Bought this for my NAS and I can't complain. Works well, easy to setup. Only thing to say is that it does not have some sort of protection to not press the power button accidentally. Meaning if for whatever reason (kids?) someone presses the button, boom, all your electronics shut down just like it would a power outage.

Cons:Small battery compartment = low runtime.

Pros:Very compactLow Noise
Comment:
Well priced unit. Compact formfactor is nice, but battery replacement is sort of a bitch compared to larger APC/Eaton units. This review was modfied by poster @ 11-28-12 08:00 PM

CyberPower Intelligent LCD Series GreenPower UPS CP1000AVRLCD UPS
Cons:None noted

Pros:Lots of plugs

I put this inside a cupboard in our office with an open back for circulation. No operating issues noted to date. Have had two weather related power outages, and two with me working on our household electrical, and all continued to run just fine.Currently have our modem, PVR and PC all connected. Power goes out and we can still run tablets and laptops off wireless, while still recording the shows we might be missing.

Cons:Blue LED

Pros:9 outletsSmall and compact
Comment:
I never experienced a power outage yet, so im not sure how good this device is. But it has a lot of outlets and a screen to display information. It fits under a desk no problem too. I would recommend this if you see it on sale, I got it for $99.

Cons:-Power LED can't be defeated

Pros:-Good software-Self-dimming display that is actually informative-Really compact-Price
Comment:
Got this guy on sale, and bang-for-the-buck it's a fantastic unit. I like that the display isn't on constantly, and it accurate in terms of uptime when running off battery. It also fits under the desk well. I don't mind that the alarm is fairly restrained, since my machine is rarely on if I'm not using it.On the downside, I hate that the power LED is always on, and is really bright

Cons:Bright LED

Pros:LCD USB 3 year warranty
Comment:
Actually I got two of these for work but because we are using generated power through an inverter these units are really picky and complain quite a lot. I took them home to resell both of them for a bit of a loss but I ended up keeping one for myself because I quite like them and it works really well under AC power.Only paid $89 for each so it's well worth it imo.

CyberPower Intelligent LCD Series GreenPower UPS CP1000AVRLCD UPS
Cons:Alarm could be louder

Pros:Really tinySoftware is pretty solid
Comment:
It does exactly what it says it does. I have my main computer with a 800watt power supply, 2 hard drives, sli set-up and primary monitor plugged into battery back-up. It gave me an estimated 9-14 minutes of back up time. The display on the device and the software is really good. I wish the alarm was a little louder on it though.

CyberPower Intelligent LCD Series GreenPower UPS CP1000AVRLCD UPS
Cons:Does not last long on battery under heavy load

Pros:Reliable, good price
Comment:
Bought two of these as a door crasher. They seem to be pretty good for the cost so far. The software works nicely, reducing the load on a power outage by shutting down the server during an outtage. My only complaint is the time it lasts on battery during full load, which is only a couple minutes.

CyberPower Intelligent LCD Series GreenPower UPS CP1000AVRLCD UPS
Cons:Outlets to close together.

Pros:Small footprintCool blue led on the power button and LCD screenQuiteAmple outlets for me.
Comment:
So far, I am happy enough with this UPS. It has 9 outlets, a small enough footprint that I can place it under my PC tower stand, the alarm is not super loud like those I had on my APC Back-UPS. Infact, you can disable the alarm on this CyberPower completely, very nice. The blue led's match the lights on my computer, so that was a bonus, althought the LCD screen does turn off, the blue led lights on the power button do not, and are quite bright. You may want to put some black tape over it if you have the UPS in a bedroom.....or use it as a night-light.The outlets are spaced too close together to utilize them properly. I have my PC, 22-inch lcd monitor, and 2 external hard drives connected properly as they are the regular plugs, but now with more devices coming out with over-sized plugs ( like my cable modem and router), you will find issues where they will block the outlets. That is where my APC was better, the outlets were spaced further apart. All In All, I am happy with it, and the 3 year warranty is a very nice feature. So Far So Good
Comment:
I have four of these 600 watt units and one 510 watt unit they all seem to be holding there own. I love the fact you have led up front that tells you output watts used is helpfull when hooking it up to your home theater. Had a few powerouts and when properly setup give plenty of time for shut on roaming profile connections. Would be nice if you could use PowerPanel Business Edition software on these units. So far I would recommend these for a best buy.

Can't complain
Comment:
Product has been performing faithfully for about 6 months. Survived through 3 multi-day power outages where the UPS and the car with an inverter were our lifelines. The display shows percentage of power remaining which was nice, as well as the ability to turn off the beeping which got annoying a few days into our outage. Would buy again.....so far.

Great UPS
Comment:
I have owned APC in the past. Decided to give Cyberpower a try after reading the reviews. It is the simplest install for software and set up I have ever experienced. Handles line voltage variations well enough and has enough battery back up to power down the system safely.

Great value but runtime wildly exagerated
Comment:
Great UPS if all you want to do is protect your PC , monitor, and cable modem with telephony but the run time is wildly exagerated. Expect only a couple of minutes, but that is plenty to have it gracefully power off your PC. I have mine set to preserve battery power and shut down PC after 2 mins to keep my home phone running for hours if there is a local power outage.
