Cons:Processor is slow, so the data transfer is less than 20MB/s out of the drive
Pros:Does the job as a NAS to have RAID 0 running on two drives |
I had the DNS-320 drive for over 1 year since Boxing Week of 2012. It has been running very well. The reason I bought it because I had the DNS-325 which was a tad slower but has the same features as the DNS-320. The DNS-320 had a slightly faster processor and was a ble to copy-in and copy-out files a tad faster. But I am still under 20MB/s even though I am copying over a Gigabit intranet onto a USB 3.0 drive. My Gigabit and USB 3.0 is capability of 50MB/s or more.I would buy this again when it goes on sale. It normally goes down to thw $60 to $70 price range during the year.
