EVGA GeForce 210 01G-P3-1312-LR Video Card
Cons:the unit could have had a black pcb and become fanless

Pros:-it works great-cheap and low power
Comment:
Works great as a HTPC card but then again you should probably get one with a fanless heatsink

. . Thanks for letting us know the half height back plane was not in there. I looked it up, and here is the link to the component with just the VGA & DVI connector. There is an additional aspect if you want to use all three - just get in touch with them.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130586

EVGA GeForce 210 01G-P3-1312-LR Video Card
Comment:
Cheap with rebate (I got it for a killer deal at a regional brick and mortar shop). HDMI with audio. Excellent for watching HD. Excellent quantity of video RAM. No low profile bracket if you require one particular (I knew it and didn't will need one).If you are picky about noise like I am you'll want do do what I did and do a tiny cutting and splicing and attatch it to a fan controller. That darn small fan is very loud at complete speed and there's no way to controll it. The dumb factor does not need to run at full speed. Temps went up two° C overall as a outcome of lowering it to 50% rpms (almost dead silent). If you're buying for a HTPC you'll probably want to appear elsewhere. With the lack of a low profile bracket and a fan that runs 100% at all times, this is possibly not the card for you.Not a fantastic deal at complete cost. I am utilizing it in an additional Linux/W7 box place together from largely spare parts. The fan point is anoying and it's not only EVGA either. I had to do the exact same thing on the spending budget ASUS card I use in my HTPC. I understand trying to maintain expense low but when the industry for these cards tends to be HTPC application, you will need to tailor your solutions or it defeats the objective.

performs fine in my low finish dual core intel board to get HDMI output to my Panasonic Television with out jitters or hesitation at 1080p. Sound and video are great via the HDMI cable. Not playing games, only streaming video. No low profile header offered, although I don't need to have one particular. I've had my Tv a couple of years and still got caught with the aspect ratio setting not getting at Full. It makes all the difference when setting the overscan correction.

Works as expected with anticipated efficiency; freed up memory utilised by my on board graphics card. Great simple worth graphics card *with* the rebate. Could not be a fantastic worth if they don't honor the rebate. Looked like a great worth, but rebate refused, I challenged it, they said it was now approved (said I selected the wrong rebate, so make confident you select the appropriate 1), then stated it would be yet another 8-ten weeks (they reset the clock soon after saying they would send it inside a week). Also, I asked for a verify but in acquiring re-approved they said they'll send a visa card - nonetheless trying to repair that component.

Cons:Not for gaming, unless you like older games

Pros:Quiet, low power, and low-priced

I bought this to round out a simple build so that the onboard video doesn't use up any resources from the computer. It works well and handles high-resolution monitors for casual use.

EVGA GeForce 210 01G-P3-1312-LR Video Card

I bought this for my HTPC to decode 1080p MKV films. The card supports PureVideo/CUDA acceleration, so it was perfect.I tested the card on XBMC Dharma beta, and it works like a charm.HTPC machine is an old Dell Optiplex 745, Core 2 Duo two.33 GHZ (first generation), 4GB of memory running Windows XP Home. It had a lot of trouble decoding 720p񳀨p films. Now this video card does all the operate, leaving the processor untouched. DOES NOT COME WITH A LOW PROFILE BRACKET!NewEgg says the card is "low profile prepared" (which is true) but it doesn't come with the required bracket. Despite the fact that, this is my error, considering that I didn't read the full item description as they do write "no bracket included". As a result, I have the card sitting in a machine without having chassis help. Because it was my stupidity at perform, I will not knock an egg off because the card was advertised properly. The video card has a fan (not passive unfortunately) but it's quiet adequate. Truly, I never hear it, simply because the machine it's in is far away (and movies are loud as they are). Only concern I can see is the fan breaking down in three-four years due to ball bearing failures... I doubt it'll be an situation then due to the fact I'll have new hardware. eVGA top quality, can't go wrong.

Card worked as advertised.I "Thought" I was buying at a very good price tag FREAKIN' REBATE GAMES! If you look up this item number, 5 rebates come up, and you will see that EVGA only tends to make a rebate valid for 2 about two weeks, then they situation a new one. Went on the internet to claim my rebate, and the website did not come back mentioned offer you code was invalid. NewEgg usually has quick shipping, very good all about service. I will look to vendors other than EVGA in the future. There are other companies with the very same solutions that don't play games with their rebates! So much for a cheap card.3 eggs off solely for the rebate games they play!

EVGA GeForce 210 01G-P3-1312-LR Video Card

I installed this on an HP Elite (AMD quad w/ddr2) that came stock with GeForce 9300 256MB graphics card. Monitor just plain looks greater and windows load faster. Honestly because I'm not a "gamer" the stock card was adequate. But on the shell shocker deal it's a superior deal. I initially planed on updating a diverse machine. I read the fine print and this VC calls for a 300W power provide. The machine I was upgrading with a Television card and presumable a superior graphics card only has a 250W energy provide. Given that I program on employing this machine as a DVR and adding a second challenging disk, I figured I'd far better upgrade the energy provide initially. I took an egg away since the "good deal" aspect needs filing for a rebate that I won't see for months. The time isn't as annoying as getting to snail mail a form.I dropped my tech understanding to a three due to a total ignorance of gaming capabilities of this card. Judging by the cost, I assume this is at greatest a nod to those interested in gaming.

EVGA GeForce 210 01G-P3-1312-LR Video Card
Comment:
This card only needs a 300 watt power provide so this works perfectly for those fundamental computers that you find in shops that commonly only run the graphics through the motherboard. Along with the price and obviously coming from EVGA, this card is worth each and every penny even though it doesn't price considerably to start with. I bought this when they had been on sale and got this for only ษ with the mail in rebate. Couldn't have asked for something additional. EVGA Percision didn't want to perform from the disk even although the 200 series is supported with it. Again, most of those normal PCs you buy from shops have a 300-400 energy provide and this is excellent for the minimum specifications. The 220 is yet another selection but that will suggest a 350 which again for some people isn't achievable. I used this for my buddy's Computer where he merely plays World of Warcraft and I bought my other 1 for a fundamental gaming develop that I'm operating on.

EVGA GeForce 210 01G-P3-1312-LR Video Card
Comment:
The VGA, DVI, and HDMI ports give a wide range of monitor support. The driver is compatible with Windows Aero which is 1 of the reasons I bought it. I've had good experience with nVidia and EVGA so far. This was another excellent upgrade for my 6yo refurb. There is no low profile bracket included. Not that I own a low profile PC, but for those of you that do, be conscious. I bought this card to use with the 20" widescreen I got for xmas, so I'm only utilizing DVI at the moment. When I move out and buy an HDTV, I'll use the HDMI on it as nicely. Also, the reqs say at least 18A be obtainable on the იV rail, and my power supply only does 15A. It hasn't been an issue yet and honestly I don't feel it will be. I didn't get it for gaming, but I will possibly be watching movies on it at some point.
