Performs just as advertised! Installed with no challenges in my AM2 Biostar motherboard for a total of 2 GB. Improved overall performance in TF2, WoW, and other various games. None, in particular at a value like this. I agree with the above poster, the packaging was ridiculous :P Love NewEgg as usual.

I ordered this RAM just to make a performance speed improve, due to the fact 2GB was NOT cutting it, and very franky, this is a very very good upgrade. Very content with my obtain. I bought it, plopped it in, began up the pc, 3GB of RAM, and it improved Frames on my games about 1 - 2. Inexpensive. Met the specs for my motherboard. Installed two of these memory sticks on a Gigabyte GA-M68SM-S2 motherboard to upgrade my memory from 2G to 4G. This memory ran so hot it shut down the computer system with a tempature fault after around half on hour. The personal computer case was extremely hot to touch. Worked fine for the time frame that I had it, but failed right after 4 months of use. Its dead now, and I haven't been able to contact GSKILL, their site is down and I can\'t find a contact phone number or e mail address to request an RMA. 1GB ram stick... I don't know... a lot of RAM? It's a low-cost addition to my currently existing 2GB! 3GB of RAM is absolutely the way to go if you have a 32-bit OS. You really have to try really hard to fill up all 3GB. Adding this slowed all of my RAM sticks to 667MHz as an alternative of 800, even though they're all 800. Not much I can do as HP's parental control BIOS will protect against an average "joe" like me (sarcasm) from adjusting the timings and speed myself but I guess I deserve that for not building my own computer system... 3GB is genuinely a sweet spot for Vista. For games like CoD4 I can have it minimized and have it up and operating with practically no delay. CoD4 eats up a gig of RAM and with this Vista says that I have 84% of RAM free of charge...

Buyer assistance was awesome. Shipping was quick. I wanted to get 2GB of 5-five-5-18 and ended up getting this, 1GB 5-5-five-15 piece of crud. Newegg let me hold it and gave me a ม.99 credit. In the long run, I ended up trading it to somebody so I could borrow a new CPU due to the fact I ordered thermal grease which still has not arrived (ordered on the 12th). I didn't get a refund for the thermal grease, alternatively they just sent me a different 1 (which I did get).Seriously though, it has no heat shield, horrible timings and is only 1GB. It's a paperweight. Now I have to get a CPU all due to the fact of this stupid ram. I was hoping newegg would replace the CPU that burned since I didn't acquire the solution in time. Now I'm on a piece of crud CPU that I'm borrowing from a pal. As an alternative of asking me what CPU I had and replacing it they throw a credit my way and hope I look the other way. I'm very upset! Just needed a stick of RAM for a speedy build, and this is pretty a lot the bottom of the barrel on NewEgg. Competitively priced (no sales, rebates or other gives when I bought) and from a corporation that I know requires excellent and customer satisfaction seriously. I bought 2 for an older motherboard that only supports DDR2 667. It's affordable and totally trusted so far. Timings are a bit slower than the higher-performance kits. Invest much more on CL4 RAM if you play a lot of games.

I paired this with my BIOSTAR P4M900M4 motherboard and Celeron D 330 (Soon to be replaced by a Pentium four 3.) and I couldn't be happier with it. Only got a 1gig stick, so I'll most likely get another quickly. It didn't come with a sticker like some of the other G. Ability goods do, lol. Other than that, how can you complain about RAM? The only annoying factor is... appropriate now, 533mhz, 677mhz, and 800mhz G. Ability RAM all price ร.99. Might as well get DDR2 800 as your motherboard will just cap it if it doesn't take advantage of the increased clock, and you could not have to purchase new RAM if you develop a newer technique.Actually absolutely nothing wrong with it. New stuff: BIOSTAR P4M900M4 , G. Ability DDR2 800 1x1g.Soon to be replaced stuff: Celeron D 330 (Getting P4 3., maybe 3.four if fortunate), IGP (Getting an X1950 Pro) PSU (It's an old 250W E-machina 1. Getting A Thermytake 430W PSU :D) Can't wait to finish this all. :D
