It looks cool, it's quick as hell, and its reasonably priced. CL7 is the way to go. It's extremely tall, so if you have a substantial HSF, you may well want to make positive you have clearance among the prime of this sticks and the bottom of the fan.

This RAM did what it says it will do... I got it to 1600 @ 7-8-7-24. I wasn't able to get the RAM stable enough for my likings at any superior timings or frequencies than these listed above, but I'm not docking eggs for that. Does ddr3-1600 7-8-7-24 even at common 1.50V. At least mine does. Only if it gets even more affordable... Slightly older rig, Q9650 on a P35 chipset. Ran successfully through memtest86 at rated ddr3-1600 7-eight-7-24 ʁ.60V out of the box. Ran it again using typical 1.50V and still passed! Good to know i still have some tweaking headroom left in there.Originally purchased for ddr3-1333 use; presently at 7-7-7-18 timings. Nonetheless can't fairly get memtest86 to pass making use of 6-six-six-20, even at 1.60V and NB Ʈ.15V. Otherwise I can't complain... a wonderful obtain at a good vacation discount!

Rock strong, worked fine out of the box on a new EVGA P55 F.T.W. None. Shipping was slower than anticipated (Shipped to DC from CA), but thinking of how quickly I get the stuff that ships out of NJ, it balances out.

- Cost- Performance Board recognized them as 1333 as an alternative of 1600 but I fixed that in the BIOS and they've been working good. Correct now employing them on an Asus 890 FX Crosshair IV w񳀲T BE six Core. Considering about ordering a single additional set to get 8 Gb total.

Rapidly, not high priced. I get a Windows rating of 7.three running at 1333MHz. I have overclocked it to 1800 with ease. Asus board didn't agree with this RAM proper away. Had to use the MemOK button on initial start off. That's not truly an issue any longer. It's blue. Matches my MOBO :)

Works as it really shouldLooks coolNot massiveMuch better timings than most other RAM modules in the value range A bit pricier than most other RAM modules, but I guess that comes from the timings. I've had a single set of these in my computer given that last summer season and I haven't run into any issues with it. Recently there was a sale on desktop memory here at Newegg, so I went ahead and ordered an additional 4 gigs for a total of 8 split more than four sticks. All modules perform perfectly, no problems.

Fast, and cost productive I know these chips are fantastic, however, when they arrived, one of the chips was DOA. I don't blame the manufacturer of course. I knew that it was FedEx that had broken my package. I got a complete refund, and strategy on purchasing it once more. These chips deserve a great rating. Even though I only have 1 chip in location ƒGB), it is just as rapidly, if not quicker, than the G Series Patriot RAM I have. And I have 4GB of it! Performs flawlessly on ASUS M4A87TD evo Motherboard with AMD Phenom II X6 1055T processer. Scores 7.four on Windows 7 index. Does not lower cholesterol! (While it might lessen your blood pressure because it functions) This memory is marketed as developed for i5 & i7, however all the specifications are on par with higher efficiency memory in this cost variety. I started with 2 sticks when I constructed this rig. Almost everything on this rig configured automatically such as the memory and six core cpu with NO Bios setting modifications. I not too long ago added two far more sticks of the precise identical Ripjaw F3-12800CL7D-4GBRM just mainly because my close friends asked why I only had 4Gig. I don't see considerably if any distinction with 8Gig versus 4Gig, but it's there so my buddies can't say they have far more. That's worth the further 60 bucks just to shut them up!

Amazing speeds with XMP. Really stable and dependable. Simply overclocked if preferred. None. I was a bit skeptical about purchasing from G.Talent as I've generally bought from Kingston, Important and Corsair. I know absolutely nothing about the business, but so far I believe the Price/benefit ratio of these guys is off the charts. This set is steady adequate to run at 1800, despite the fact that I don't recommend it.

Wonderful memory. Got it working completely at the rated speed and latency at 1.56V (as opposed to the nominal 1.6V). Passed memtest86+ no issue. A little bit a lot more high-priced than most memory and you're unlikely to notice a difference in overall performance. For reference, it's operating on a Core i5 760 build with a Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3P motherboard.

-Windows 7 64-bit recognizes all 8GB that I bought and gives them a 7.9 out of 7.9 on my method!-They appear wonderful!!!-Installed, went into BIOS and turned on XMS-not a difficulty considering that and they run at the appropriate speeds: 1600 齠X2) 7-8-7-24 timings-G.Skill forums and client service is excellent! -Would not run at right speeds in my defective MSI P67A-GD55. I purchased the ASRock P67 Extreme4 and it has been wonderful ever considering that! Tis is not genuinely a con given that the motherboard was at fault-just be cautious if you are running the MSI P67A-GD55 as I identified out quite a few individuals with that board had memory challenges. Whilst troubleshooting the memory on my faulty MSI board I ran across G.Talent forums and the folks there and the G.Ability group were a large aid. After getting this memory I discovered out that they now make memory in particular for SandyBridge processors (Ripjaws X) so now I am asking yourself if I ought to upgrade again :).

it appears cool. kidding aside not a con but, the ram has been giving me fits.. it does run at 777 at 1333mhz as 1 particular person stated, but i wanted it at 1600 it will run 9-9-9-24-40 at 1600mhz on my biostar 890gxe board with a 1090t at 4 ghz took a although for me to figure that out.. 7.6 on wei, if that matters with amd you need much more volts to run higher cpu clocks.. running it at 1600.. carrying out a p95 test i noticed my temps sky rocket to 63c considerably more rapidly then when i have the ram at 1333. not the rams fault just tells me that at 1600 my cpu runs harder, and it is faster, so i need to have greater fans (ok egg) egg is sold out of the 1 i want.. had some g.talent ddr2 1066 with my 1090t in a foxconn a79a-s mb it was steady operating 4.three ghz on cpu with o problems. (great board btw if you can discover one) but my temps had been also higher.. operating existing board at 2200 hyper transport 2200 north bridge 20x multi 200 fsb 1.44 volts on cpu 1.68 volts on ram at 9-9-9-24-40-2t.. it runs incredibly smooth for gaming and video encoding.... BUT p95...??? may possibly have to go with water by the summer time.. but by then i will be building a bulldozer platform, if the chip is out by then.. i have 1 pair of g-skill ddr in my 939 board, difficulties (now the wife's) 2 pair of ddr2 troubles, and now this pair of ddr3 .. i would say g-ability is a quite good mem. to invest in...

Quickly, Fairly Low cost, Looks Excellent. Isn't faster, isn't more affordable, doesn't look cooler. GA890XA-UD3 (AM3) w/ AMD Phenom 925, running four sticks of these guys. Stock voltage Ƒ.6V) and I've manually entered 7-7-7-24 timings and it's rock strong. I haven't had time to squeeze them for more functionality, but they're already more rapidly than anticipated. By the way, the heat spreader color matches the Gigabyte UD anodized blue, if you're into that.

Great sticks for gaming. Excellent value. Advertised timings are a bit optimistic, but it's nonetheless fast. If my the RMA sticks operate I will certainly transform this to a 4 egg assessment. A single stick DOA, BSOD galore. Took out the stick and every little thing ran beautifully. Also place the other stick in the exact same socket to make sure it wasn't the motherboard, of course.
