Laser mouse.Good shape, weight, and size.dpi adjust button.rubber on it is comfy. One particular of the rubber pads is starting to come off and that's genuinely beginning to bother me. I'll turn on the laptop for the initial time of the day, grab my mouse and have a massive piece of awkward rubber sticking out where I location my middle finger. You can truly see in 1 of the images on Newegg where that rubber begins to peel away. I thought I was just a unique situation at 1st. I'll almost certainly finish up super gluing it back but nonetheless it's annoying now and I don't have any super glue proper now. |

Comfy, looks really excellent right after much less than three months of use the scroll wheel STOPPED Working! I tried all the approaches of fixing i located on the online, installing reinstalling drivers, attempted on one more laptop or computer and laptop, I even took it apart soon after Gigabyte failed to send me an RMA number to send it back! I still actually like this mouse, and i even deemed purchasing it again, but now i know logitech, microsoft, perhaps saitek (razor mice are just too high-priced for me) is the way to go.. |

Good look, great grip, great shape. Sturdy. DPI setting alterations itself. I very first believed I was hitting the button by accident but after some testing, I located out that when you press and hold both mouse buttons for ӯ seconds, the DPI setting toggles by itself.I tried with default Windows drivers and Gigabyte drivers, beneath Windows XP and Windows 7 x64 with the very same outcome. It's not a driver difficulty, it's a firmware challenge. Also, the "Magic Jump" programmable button choice (essentially a very basic application launcher) isn't game-friendly. If you use the side-button programmed with the "Magic Jump" function within a game, the driver will pop the application launcher "under" the game display and alter the game cursor to the desktop cursor. The subsequent click, which doesn't go through to the launcher you can't see, will serve to bring back the mouse under the game's manage. I wrote an e mail to Gigabyte and am still waiting for an answer. But I doubt something can be completed considering that it's a firmware dilemma.I would have given 2 eggs considering that the mouse can still be employed for desktop applications (maybe not for CAD and such even though) with minor inconvenience but Gigabyte is saying it's a gaming mouse. |

I can map anything, to nicely generally anything at all with the additional buttons, and with the high dpi I don't have to move my wrist as substantially 800dpi to 1600dpi is a big jump when you use the dpi button, if it was 1000 to 1600 it would be superior but I nevertheless adore this mouse For monstrous hands, I advise this mouse |

Laser. Adjustable resolution. Best weight. Good shape. Quite comfortable to use. The only complaint I could make is that occasionally its tricky to inform which DPI mode you are on. My final mouse (iHome 1600dpi laser) had a lit mouse wheel which flashed quick or slow when you switched the DPI to show which mode you were going into. With this mouse you've got to do some wiggling about to try to establish which DPI mode you've just switched into. Which is ok, I typically just keep it at 1600dpi which is the best anyway. The description says it switches amongst 1600dpi and 800dpi but in actuality it has 3 modes: 1600dpi 800dpi and 400dpi.This is an awesome mouse. I never could have predicted how a lot I would like this mouse. It appears to be the absolute excellent size, shape, weight and resolution. |

Was a great fit for my massive hand. Middle scroll wheel started to go bad after around 5 months of moderate use, after a different couple of weeks went dead. Went back to my old Logitech MX310 which nonetheless performs wonderful. Not as major a mouse as this one but at least it still operates following 6 years. |

Light weight. Fantastic mouse motion. Fine, thick physique structure which is idle for a manly hand like myself. Left/Right click buttons are WAY As well stiff. It demands a healthy, powerful young set of fingers to click repeatedly for 12 hours on this mouse, since Microsoft and Logitech mice are far a lot more sensitive, and suited for gaming, than this. Also, I didn't notice any strengthen on the laser, evaluate to optical! I've becoming playing laptop or computer games due to the fact the days of DOOM and BLOOD 1...which indicates I've becoming utilizing Microsoft mice, with excessively sensitive click buttons, over the years. Therefore this new age stiffness doesn't bare properly with me. For this mouse was best in just about every other sense (although I wish it came with CD computer software. What's up with that? Why no disc?) Anyway, I played Fallout three for five minutes...and had to stop because my index finger (fire finger) was receiving fatigued and agitated. No, this mouse will not due. That, and that alone, renders it a poor rating. Gigabyte tends to make good motherboards, but gaming mice...there is that one particular factor to be desired -- gaming experience. Next time, Gigabyte, sit down and play around with Microsoft and Logitech mice, and ask yourself -- why are the buttons so easy and sensitive to press? Then play a couple of games for some 8 hours straight. You'll have your answer then and there. |

Buttons are nice, smooth roller ball, foreword and back buttons on the side are well placed and the button to switch DPI is handy, but not in the way. I have rather big hands and the mouse fits fairly very good. The only genuine con I can discover with this mouse is it fits excellent in my hands not great. In my opinion it could be a small longer to let additional of my hand rest on the mouse, but I'm sure thats just my preference. I purchased the mouse with no feeling it in my hand so I can't really knock off an egg because its my fault. Other than my nit picks its a fairly very good mouse |

Bought this for my wife ages ago, she didn't like the feel of it so I took it to use with my laptop.Found it to be a very good mouse, works great for gaming. It doesn't have as many buttons as the high end mice but for a low level gaming mouse it can't be beat. |

The cost was fantastic for an affordable gaming mouse. The shape of this mouse below my hand felt fantastic.I liked the the indentation on the thumb side to rest the thumb. I bought one and the scroll wheel died in the very first 10 min. Newegg shipped me another asap but believe it or not and same dang issue happened the subsequent day to the replacement. The saying, "once bitten, twice shy" applies here in duplicate! I was bitten twice so I dont believe I'll ever obtain a Gigabyte mouse once again. I believe there ought to be a design flaw in the scroll wheel. |

Mouse functions perfectly as a normal corded laser mouse, -lag for gaming. DPI settings make it quite straightforward to adjust sensitivity, but it isn't a button in a location you'll accidentally hit and get disoriented. No driver installation needed, very PnP - certainly best for bringing to a LAN party. Doesn't make me a sandwich. Amazing deal for the value! Comfy grip. Meets my requires as a gamer (then again I don't need a dozen buttons for my line of gaming, 7-bind is plenty for an FPS), no mousepad necessary thanks to laser tech. :) Don't think twice - get it. |

This 5-buttons laser mouse comes at a good price point. The shape and the rubber grip feels comfy to my hand. The dpi switch is very valuable for me simply because I don't have to maintain adjusting the pointer speed between the mouse and trackpad on my nettop. None. I have another mouse that comes with adjustable weights. And this mouse does really feel a bit also light to me. But I wouldn't count it as a con due to the fact that mouse price far more than twice of this. |

Comfy and the weighting feels very good. The GIGABYTE info page for this product lists "FPS: 3000fps" as a specification. I'm not certain what this means. I assumed it had something to do with the polling rate.I ran a tool to check my polling rate even though and it is fixed at 125hz. The GIGABYTE driver for this mouse does not allow you to transform the polling rate, so I don't seriously comprehend what makes it a gaming mouse.A 125hz polling rate signifies your mouse movements get sent to your game a maximum of as soon as each and every 8ms. This delay is noticeable over a brief period of time compared to a 1000hz polling rate or even a 500hz polling rate, which are widespread adjustments on a Real gaming mouse.Technically, making use of GIGABYTE's personal useless "FPS" rating for this mouse would give it an actual spec of 125fps, not 3000fps.3000fps is silly anyway. That would need a polling rate of 3000hz. I haven't seen any way to set the USB polling rate above 1000hz.Initially and last GIGABYTE item I ever buy. |

I really like the way this mouse feels in my hand. Buttons click nice and general the mouse feels solid. There is a button that changes resolution from 800 dpi to 1600 dpi. I wish it had a middle setting due to the fact 800 dpi feels slow to me exactly where the 1600 dpi is very touchy. This is produced for suitable handed mouse users only. |
