Comment:
- Laser mouse- 5 Buttons- Plug and Play- Nice ergonomic style Just 1, Packaging of this product is a "cut hand trap", but that takes nothing away from the product itself. You can basically see 1 individual struggle open the packaging on utube, i identified it quite funny at 1st until i had to open mine. Just upgraded from a Logitech optical, I will suggest this mouse to any person who is searching for a very good mouse regardless for gaming or non-gaming purpose.

just a very good solid mouse, fantastic really feel, i actually enjoy finding back into the 1600dpi even though its changeable if you arent into sensitivity. not the lightest click, but by no indicates bad. shape is a small new to me, but it is a great position. for the price? yea do it, it'll hang with the โ+ gang

GIGABYTE GM-M6880 Metal Black Wired Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons:Plastic material feels kinda cheap

Pros:Mouse DPI adjustable on the flyButtons on the sideLightweight and easy to manipulate
Comment:
This is a great mouse overall for 20$. You get 1600 dpi laser precisionm buttons on the side and even adjustable DPI on the fly. I guess not that much company offers this much for this money. You can feel the plastic that feel kinda cheap, but otherwise this mouse seems to be well designed. You still have a good ergonomy even for long gaming session. I used this mouse for gaming right now and would recommand this to any user who havent try a gaming mouse because their too expensive...

GIGABYTE GM-M6880 Metal Black Wired Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons:shows fingerprints & palmprints; dpi resets to the fastest setting each time the mouse is plugged in

Pros:punches above its price; smooth and accurate sensor; nicely shaped; rubber grips; lotsa butans!
Comment:
Please read my review of the GM-M6800 optical mouse twin here: http://secure1.ncix.com/products/productreviewdetail.php?id=136998 - again, the biggest difference between the two mice is the top surface. If you prefer the glossy back take the M6880, it looks "richer" perhaps? My particular M6880 also felt a little heavier - merely differences in the sensor components I'm guessing?Anyways, I ended up liking both mice so either is a fine choice.

Cons: -not exactly a hardcore gamer mouse

Pros: -cheap-comfortable-Laser
Comment:
for a no frills mouse this seems like a pretty good deal. Its a little big and heavy but that works for me. seems to respond well on a variety of surfaces. not particularly interested in this for gaming but i suspect it could hold its own with some of these fifty dollar mice out there. overall at this price you cant go wrong.

Cons: the middle button (scroll wheel) has slightly too much resistanceno tilt wheel

Pros: Feels sturdyPerforms wellhandy DPI switcher
Comment:
For the price, this is a pretty amazing mouse. It`s a good laser mouse that, while cheap, still has good build quality. I miss the tilt-wheel from my old mouse, but it's not totally necessary. I recommend this mouse :)

GIGABYTE GM-M6880 Metal Black Wired Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons: I don't know if I just got unlucky, but on mine the dpi doesn't always stay at the setting I prefer. I frequently have to change it back to the less sensitive dpi. Not sure what triggers it changing, but I guess I'll deal with it.

Pros: Comfortable, fits my hand great and has a good weight

Cons: Finger indentaions to be spaced too far apart

Pros: Dpi button functions wellNice weight
Comment:
I find the finger indentaions to be spaced too far apart. It may be something that I will have to get used to. Dpi button is on the top of the mouse and responds nice to just one press, seems to make a fair difference in the speed. For the price it seems like you cannot go wrong.

Got on sale for $15. Best mouse I've ever had, but that is not saying much as i have always had a generic mouse. Very comfortable and is acceptable for gaming. Works well if you want something in between a generic mouse and a super expensive gaming mouse.

GIGABYTE GM-M6880 Metal Black Wired Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons: mouse lag

Pros: Price, feel
Comment:
Overall for the price, having 5 buttons and laser makes this a very good mouse for the price. I got it expecting i could be gaming with it, for me this is way sub par for any type of gaming requiring precision. For any normal the mouse is fine, it fits your hand very well. The mouse has lag in its movement and seems to be a little inconsistent so for any fps your ability will be limited. So, if your gaming don't get this mouse (thats just my personal preference).

GIGABYTE GM-M6880 Metal Black Wired Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons:Forward and Backward buttons are a little awkward, but it's something you can get used to. Also, it's a little light, but that's just personal opinion.

Pros:Smooth tracking. Comfortable. On the fly DPI switching. Price.
Comment:
This mouse is great. It's butter smooth and I haven't had any sort of glitching or unresponsiveness. I bought it to replace a cheap, wireless Logitech and I don't regret it at all. In response to an earlier comment about lifting it an inch off the surface to avoid tracking when moving the mouse: it does do that, but not to one inch off the table. I haven't noticed it, and I've played a lot of games with it, and that's an area where it would be incredibly frustrating, but it's not. This review was modfied by poster @ 03-10-10 05:17 AM

Cons:Not as comfortable as it could beSide buttons are a little awkward to reach

Pros:Price on Sale
Comment:
Got this for around $14 on sale. Needed a mouse for work and didn't want to use the generic Logitech and Microsoft offerings available. It's comfortable and does its job, but it's considerably lower than my older MX510, or MX518. It's okay for gaming, a step up from generic mice, but it's by no means going to make you a superstar if you're getting this for gaming.

GIGABYTE GM-M6880 Metal Black Wired Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons:Back/forward side buttons feel cheap, right-side finger scoop is pretty useless.

Pros:800/1600 DPI laser, nice size and profile, scroll wheel and top buttons work well, looks good, WinXP drivers work fine.
Comment:
I've been using an old Logitech optical for years, but the pads have worn out and it had started switching itself off at random, so it was time for something new. The Gigabyte M6880 was on sale and had an 800/1600 laser, so thought I'd give it a try. Very satisfied so far.First off, this is an exclusively right-handed mouse. Leftys should look elsewhere. The size and shape were easy to get used to as they are similar to the Logitech, the scroll wheel feels and sounds very similar to my old one, and the top buttons have a good feel and decent click to them. They require slightly more pressure than my old mouse, but since I used to accidentally click due to the minimal amount of pressure required, this is fine by me.The DPI switch button works great, and the 4 large pads slide easily on my SteelSeries fabric pad. There is zero hesitation - the laser works perfectly. I was concerned about the size of the thumb scoop, but it fits perfectly and feels very natural. Can't say the same for the finger scoop on the opposite side however. I would have prefered a flat surface as my fingers do not settle into the scoop the way it seems to have been designed for. It's not a big setback, as the tips of my ring and pinky fingers are not uncomfortable riding the edges of it.My only other small complaint would be that the back/forward buttons on the thumb side are positioned a tad too far back on the mouse body, and have a cheapish feel - but for this price I really shouldn't complain. It's not an MX518, but works really well so far and is an incredible value.

Cons:fairly lightweight

Pros:price (free)responsedurabilityforward/back buttons
Comment:
Got two of these for free with an order a while ago. I use them for both of my desktops (along with matching keyboards) so that the feel of peripherals doesn't change from system to system. These mice may not have all the bells and whistles of $50+ dollar mice but they work well and they feel good in my hand. They're also quite nice for gaming. 1600DPI isn't too quick but it's plenty responsive enough for intense FPS titles. At $25 I'd recommend this to anyone.

GIGABYTE GM-M6880 Metal Black Wired Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons:Loud forward/back button

Pros:Grip, ergonomics.
Comment:
Bought it for my sister. It works fine for normal use and whenever if ever she decides to game, she'll appreciate the 1600 DPI. It's comfortable for me and one thing I'll mention, The right side has some funny ergonomics going from a standard kidney logitech mouse. If your fingers are positioned properly, it feels like it was molded and custom fitted to your hand but otherwise it feels awkward. Only other complaint about it is the back/forward buttons emit a really loud click when pressed.

Cons:For that price? None!

Pros:+ price+ looks+ feel, especially if you have medium to semi-large hands
Comment:
Even if we don't count the crazy price, this is one surprisingly good rodent. As with any mouse, how it will feel will depend on your own hands. What I can say is that this one is as smooth and precise as it is reasonable to expect.Awesome bang for the buck.
