Won't post with 1066 in all for slots
Cons: Won't POST with 1066 memory in all four DDR2 slots. I bought this to replace a P5Q-E and the very same memory works perfectly fine on that board. I have to run my memory at 800 in order to use all 6 GB. Gskill claims you can run the memory at 1066 by setting the FSB to 333 (see the gkill website). Granted this works but I have an e7200 and setting the FSB to 333 means I have to overclock my CPU and I don't want to do that. In my opinion I shouldn't have to "tweak" the settings to get standard DDR2 memory to work. One egg.
Pros: None since it doesn't deliver on it's stated specs. Comment:

Heavy board.... Easy to tell it's quality
Cons: If you have one of those fan-less video cards where the heat-sink wraps around to the back of the video card. Tall sticks of memory WILL get in the way of the heat-sink and you will be required to do a bit of cutting on the heat-sink to make it fit near the RAM. Not really a con of the motherboard.... seems like the video cards fault to me!
Pros: Nice layout, Heavy and everything worked fine as soon as it was installed Comment:
Really... who uses those fanless back of the card heatsinks anymore=( |

Doorstop
Cons: Also using CORSAIR DOMINATOR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) 4 sticks total. Replaced the memory and was stable for 2 more months, then back to blue screens every day- 2 days. Replaced video card, blue screens.
Pros: Worked well for a few weeks. Helps me understand why I should stick with Asus or others. Newegg= still the fastest and best! Comment:
Standard response from Gigabyte "make sure you have updated all your drivers, brush your teeth, and wash behind your ears and everything should be o.k." |

Doh!
Cons: I may have had it 2 months if that, it died pretty fast.
Pros: Worked fine when i got it, was fun while it lasted. I'd buy it again, it did fine when it was working, mine just decided to hiccup early. Comment:
Just did buy a new processor and HDD to go with it, system would power on and then turn off, an repeat. Sent it to the computer shop in town, they checked everything, motherboard died, bummer. |

Good deal
Cons: I cant throw left handed.Gigglebytes website could be speedier.
Pros: cool temps, easy setup, bios is very configurable.fsb speed Comment:
I didnt need raid or multi lans so I went with this board for $79 |

It's sweet
Cons: Only 1 PCI-E slot, but I knew that going in, so I can't really fault the board for that.
Pros: Nice layout and overclocks well. I've got a 2.66 core 2 duo running at 3.10 ghz on stock cooling with zero problems. Runs faster memory, and the BIOS is feature rich with lots of tweakability built into it. The largest FSB available on the old LGA 775 platform. Comment:

Good board if you get a good one
Cons: First one was DOA with the cpu fan/reboot loop issue that some others have been having. Had to RMA it and got a good one the second time. This is two Gigabyte boards in a row that I've gotten a DOA the first time. This is the reason I stopped using Asus and switched to Gigabyte. I guess it's just a crapshoot these days, since it seems all the motherboard companies don't care about quality assurance anymore.
Pros: Performance blows away my old stock Intel board and I love the amount of BIOS options. Comment:
If you get a good one, it does it's job. I still don't think I should have to pay for return shipping when it's not my fault the board was bad. |

Poor layout
Cons: If you have a thick video card, this can block one of your PCI Express slots. The 2 slots closest to the CPU won't support a full length card because of the memory slots. This leaves just the one slot remaining slot.
Pros: Stable. Works great. Comment:

Excellent Price/Performance
Cons: I would prefer the 4-pin connector for the CPU was in a morre accessible location. I had a hard time getting my fat fingers to it with the large HSF that I use.I am not taking an egg from it because I knew the layout of the board. It's just a gripe of mine about mobo's in general.
Pros: I replaced a GA-965P-DS3 3.3 that I finally killed pushing the MCH voltage too hard. I have always had good luck with Gigabyte boards. I know others have had troubles with some boards, but mine have always performed well. I am not in a position to upgrade to the i3-7's yet, so I wanted a solid LGA775 OC'er for my E6750. Since I didn't need Xfire or SLI for this box, I snagged this board at a good price. It has been rock-solid and stable since I fired it up. One of the things I prefer about Gigabyte boards is their solid state caps. This is a big deal to me since it should result in a longer life for the board. I like to get mileage out of my boards. I definitely recommend this board for an enthusiast on a budget or even as a stock replacement board. Comment:
The Gigabyte BIOS is great for manual OC's as usual. Although, I can't create multiple configuration profiles anymore, the Dual BIOS is a wonderful feature for those moments when you are testing the boundaries of your CPU.I am having very little Vdroop on this board compared to the 965P-DS3 it replaced. I am happy with my current OC (3.6 @ 1.3625v). I was not able to run any voltage lower than 1.4 on the 965P-DS3. And no over voltage necessary on the MCH this time either. Very happy with the stability and low power requirements with this board thus far. Components:E6750 2.6 stock OC'd @ 3.6 (1.3625v)GA-P45-UD3L4 GB G. Nice board
Cons: Only one of the case fan headers is 4-pin, the others are 3-pin. And don't lift the board by the heatsink :). It separates from the motherboard very easily... I had to remove it and replace the thermal paste.
Pros: Lots of adjustability, good manual, good compatibility. Very easy to get Mac OS X running on it. Has RS-232 and parallel port headers. Comment:
I was kind of surprised to receive version 1.0 of this board... 1.1 superseded it over a year ago. Very old stock!I also realized after buying this board that a DDR3 version exists (GA-EP45T-UD3L). However, the speed difference is negligible, so I'm not worried about it. |

DOA
Cons: DIMM slot 4 not working. tested with MemTest 86+ v2.11Gigabyte tech support not helpful at all. Found MemTest 86+ through forums Also Mobo is very sensitive about the ram you put into it.
Pros: Everything worked except DIMM slot 4. Returned for a new one. The second one worked fine.3 stars because Had to wait 1 week for the new mobo. Comment:
Had to buy a speaker for the mobo. gave me continuous beeps, indicating a power error. Power error was to the DIMM slot 4 tested with MemTest 86+ v2.11 |

Great mobo!
Cons: None
Pros: Everything was mostly easy to install into it. My heatsink fan was very large so it made it difficult to install given how cramped it was in there. Not a problem though since I was able to get that and everything else working just fine. Comment:
LED Fans! Four of em! Makes my feet chilly! |

Cons: No FirewireNo eSATA backplate included (comes standard with the UD3R and UD3P).
Pros: Great Overclocking (Q8400 2.66 ghz easy oc'd to 3.2 ghz)Expandability (3 PCIe and 2 PCI)Cheap! $85 for this thing is a steal.Small. Comment:
Excellent for a "Hackintosh" |

Cons: DDR2
Pros: Fixed instability problems...due to DDR2 1066RAM not having any OC ability. :P Comment:
Buy it. Best non-SLI board I've seen. |

So far, fantastic
Cons: the install disk is near useless if running W7 x64 (not that they could have anticipated it) so most software/ drivers need to be changed. Windows automatically installed audio drivers that flat out didn't work from the internet, but everything to get it working in a 64-bit environment is available, just might require a bit of work (including EasyTune6).
Pros: My old Asus board died after roughly 2 years. It was cheap and trashy but did it's job I suppose considering the cost. Just upgraded to this board and aside from some annoying W7 x64 hoops I had to jump through (some software and drivers needed to be changed/ updated, but everything important on the board worked) everything works great. I bought this largely for the 4 DIMMs since it was an upgrade of necessity rather than planned and I felt like i needed more RAM to justify it as an 'upgrade'. In any case, it runs like a dream and has a ton of extras compared to boards I've dealt with in the past. Easy overclocking (haven't committed to anything, just tried it out briefly) and dual BIOS at least sounds great, though i hope I never need it. The board structure itself is designed very nicely. I barely had to look when plugging in the chassis cables because everything seems to be in the right spot. Aside from SLI support it has all the connections you (or at least I) could want. Comment:
When my old board broke I considered a whole new system, but decided I couldn't afford it, or at least couldn't afford something that would be demonstrably more powerful. After looking over some benchmarks I'm considering upgrading this machine a bit rather than buying into the 1156 or 1366 sockets. I'm sure you could do quite a lot with this board, a core2 Quad, and a decent amount of DDR2 800 or 1000 overclocked as desired. Only drawback with longevity to me is that SATA 3 (6GB/s) and USB3 are showing up in new hardware and at least SATA 3 will be impossible on this board (USB3 through PCI card I'm sure will happen). |

First build: Success!
Cons: none
Pros: This board was used in my first build. Im typin gthis review using this board. At first the board went into a loop. Cleared the CMOS and it booted right up thereafter. Nice features and has a flashing utilty. All you need is the file and the software does the rest. Comment:

Perfect
Cons: None
Pros: I bought this to build a cheap overclocker and so far this board is great. I had an Intel e5200 laying around and dropped it in and have it stable at 3.4, low temps and stable with Prime95 for over 24 hours. Not crazy high, but makes this system pretty impressive for what it is needed for. Overclocking on this board is really easy and the dual bios is a great thing to have. Not my first Gigabyte board and definitely not the last. Comment:

Cons: Died after a year , hard to set my beer on with all the useless stuff on top, went into the same power loop s others have said

I've never had a problem with a New Egg Mobo
Cons: I was installing the board by the heatsink (probably not the best idea to hold a mobo there, lesson learned) and one of the notches fell off. I just delicately used my screwdriver to pop the plastic piece back in.
Pros: I picked up this mobo and it installed into win7 with 0 problems, took me 8 minutes to boot, and all the drivers were loaded. It recognized ALL 6gb (2x 2gb 8500 2x 1gb 9200) AND IMMEDIATELY RAN THEM AT THEIR PERFORMANCE SPEED OF 1066MHZ. I think this is rare, but super awesome because I'm not terribly good at overclocking. Oh yeah, it comes with a super easy overclock tool that does literally EXACTLY what you could be doing in the bios. My boot time from button to windows chime is 48 seconds. THIS IS A GOOD MOTHERBOARD I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYONE ELSE SAYS!!! Comment:
I've gotten 5 mobo's now from newegg, and all of them have worked spectacularly! |

Memory issue
Cons: Im havinf the same issue as some others, I cant get it to boot up when I install more than 4 gigs of ram, Im usingCORSAIR DOMINATOR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X4096-8500C5DF -As soon as I install more than 4, its wont even boot.
Pros: Small board but great locations for Sata PORTS etc etc Comment:

buy this
Cons: no chip-set fan for the big sexy heat sink...whats up with that gigabyte????
Pros: great cooling the 2 oz copper relay makes a heat difference absolutely LOVE the built on overclock-er for everything in my case Comment:
If you cant afford the i7 upgrade yet like me in college but still need the edge in the LAN parties you go to 1-3 times a week this is the best bang for the buck! still relay wish I knew why they have the big chip-set heat-sink and no fan...? |

Eccentric
Cons: Long Boot time, Setting up the BIOS takes a while, Very resistant to Macintosh OSX. Doesn't like to have a HDD in the SATA-0 port so start with the SATA-1 port and just use the SATA-0 port for eSata or something of that nature. Wish it had two more USB ports(pins/internal type) on the internal part of the board.
Pros: It seems to function well. If you were to just install Windows 7 OEM it'd be fine and never give you problems but I'm eccentric and use Linux and Hackintosh. Linux Mint loves this board, I don't know about Windows 7 because I haven't reinstalled it yet. Comment:
I'm going to commit blasphemy and put an EFIX module on this thing to I can Quad-boot LIKE A BOSS. |

Awesome Board
Cons: None
Pros: Very nice board.CheapGreat performance Comment:
Why would you complain that this board doesn't have RAID if there is nothing in the specifications that suggests that it would? Unreal. This board gives you a high bang for the buck. Mixed with a quad core Intel proc, and 4 gig of ram.. Windows 7 Ultimate runs like butter. |
