Just an update about the rebate for this card. I bought this card on black friday and followed the instructions to the tee, such as printing the form and folding it the way they wanted. Took almost four months, but I did get an AMEX gift card for the 30 bones for the rebate currently. The card is nonetheless running just fine and is playing Crysis two complete out with no concerns at my monitors max res which is only 1280x1024. Not 1 glitch so far. Card is still fairly extended and fan is still a may well noisy HEY I Actually GOT A REBATE !!! Very good job Gigabyte for truly sending my cash !!! Restores faith in your solutions. !!!!! Total cost for card with tax as I live in Cali is 85.00, not bad at all.

I upgraded from a GeForce 7600GS and it was like night and day difference. I don't game much, but I tried Dragon Age at max settings and no stutter. My window's rating went from from a 4.1 to a six.9! It came with a mini HDMI and a six pin energy cord. That was wonderful When folks say this card is massive, its an understatement. This card is huge! It's like half the size of my Mobo. It barely fit in my full ATX ECS motherboard and it blocked access to I consider the two PCIe slots under it. But I love it anyway. One a lot more point is that the mini HDMI adapter won't plug in completely simply because it is not extended adequate. But it might just be the case that I have.

Card operates excellent, runs cool and quiet. There is a style flaw with the mini HDMI port. The mini HDMI port is placed to close to the edge of the card, you have to get a mini HDMI to full HDMI cable to be able to use this port (unless you use the integrated adaptor and jam it in at an angle in the port) the adaptor interferes with any case you install this card in, mainly because of its style, due to the truth the port is way as well close to the edge of the card. I cant think they couldnt uncover the area to use a full size HDMI port, after all it makes use of two slots.which gives them more than sufficient area.

Great higher-performance card for about 贄.Gigabyte commonly puts out best-high quality and excellent-searching hardware. None really, I really like the a single I got (that operates).See comments beneath. Got one particular of these cards, loved it, so I ordered a second one. The sale price wasn't on at the time, so I had to pay about ฮ a lot more. OK, what ever. Installed it in yet another machine, and the card died following a couple hours. Go on-line to Newegg, and I see they're on sale Once again for Less than what I paid for the original! I'm returning the broken one particular for a refund and I don't know if I'll obtain an additional. This just left a poor taste in my mouth.

It's a GTS 450. HDMI is awsome into my AV receiver. Comes with mini HDMI adapter exactly where several do not. Horribly loud, even when idle. I need to have noted the other testimonials but I believed probably individuals have been nitpicking given that my old GTX9600 is good and quiet. Got this for my MCE Computer. RMA'd promptly. Going for the PNY. I think the whine from that fan will haunt me for a long time.

Incredibly rapid. Plays all modern games really well. I play L4D2, COD:MW2 most of the time even though. Those are maxed out. Fan is auto idling at 17 in EVGA Precision but it's really loud even when the temperature is only 33 C. My other video cards were silent compared to this one particular.

Installation was rapid and painless, updated drivers immediately following set up, no troubles at all. It handles every little thing I've thrown at it with out problem. I haven't truly pushed it as well difficult, the most graphically intensive game I own is Microsoft Flight Sim X. I have been capable to display all games on both my monitor 񢄐x1050) and DLP Tv 񢈀x1080) simultaneously devoid of any difficulty. It drives both displays beautifully. HDMI output is beautiful playing DVDs. None for me, but be careful if you have a microATX board and smaller sized case. This card is huge. Unbeatable price tag for 40 nm chip with 1 GB of GDDR5. Low power consumption. No meaningful difficulties on my old XP system with PCI-Express version 1. Not silent. Yes the dB are low, but the acoustics of that noise are not to my taste. A biting whine. It genuinely stands out in my technique. Not suggested for HTPCs.No monitoring or tweaking software. Certain, there's 3rd party stuff, but I'm surprised nothing was integrated. Funny point is I checked reviews on every single Gigabyte card with this fan design. Some said how quiet it was and none stated it was disruptive. Considering that acoustics is king for me, I'm disappointed.Nonetheless, you can't beat the cost. There are some affordable options to deal with the noise.

Low-cost. Respectable Gaming. I don't game alot, but it works wonderfully with the likes of Left 4 Deadǘ, Dragons Age: Origins. (at least in a Phenom I three. four core program) My gosh, the fan IS loud. Do not put this in a HTPC. I've got a ATI 5850 in a different pc, and it's wisper quiet. This thing although, sounds like a mini vacuum cleaner at the lowest setting ྱ%). Not your optimal All Objective streaming, video gaming card for your residing area computer due to the noise. If you are quickly annoyed by a single fan dominating the area accoustics, HTPC or not, then this is a card to sidestep. I attempted 2 ATI cards, plus my motherboards integrated ATI output attempting to connect to my Phillips HDTV. Often I could get a signal, but it was like, as soon as each and every 20 boots. Had to modify my monitors.ini file and that aided me get a signal at boot up, but when the Tv went into standby, expected a reboot. So I bought this card to see if my Phillips and Nvidia would get along superior. They do. I don't know if it was ATI driver or Phillips dilemma. But, on the off probability that an individual is having HTPC troubles with Phillips and ATI, then this card need to operate, as extended as you dont thoughts the mini vacuum sound that comes with it. Pondering about removing shroud and Ghetto Modding a quite case fan on it. Seriously. If it was half as loud, I would worship it for what it DOES do well. I have to give it three stars, but with a quieter fan, it would have been a 5 star.

An excelent card that can play anything i throw at it at max settings devoid of choking, i got 60 fps at oblivion with highest settings hdr and forced AA x16, 60 fps on starcraft two on ultra settings only dropping to 50 with a 1600 baneling battle (so wonderful) and a respectable 30 on crisis at max and sli-able not like the gtx 480 its also cold to make toast :( i got it for low-cost, havent found anythingit cant play

Amazing card at this cost range, runs fairly a lot almost everything at max settings with 30+ fps with my core two e8400 and 4 gigs of ddr3 at only 533mhz Believed the mini hdmi may well be a con(didn't want to obtain one more cable) but came with an mini to regular hdmi adapter enclosed so, no cons that I can consider of. Finally upgraded from placeholder gts 220 and estimate a 500% raise in 3D performance, can lastly take pleasure in games at max settings.

Run's smoothly everything was fine i love it adore it. the only factor that had me was the reality then when i downloaded the most up-to-date driver from my pc update center for some cause the Nividia manage panal wouldnt come up anymore so i had to re- install the computer software and the drivers from the CD-ROM so my greatest bet is to not downleod the drivers manually from your laptop or computer lol. Performs fantastic with World of warcraft I basically have anything on Ultra exept shadow i have that on higher.Thats the only game i play for the personal computer anyways anything else im Xbox 360'd out son! but other then that for the price tag and for ppl out there who are decent gamerz this card is excellent.

This card is exactly what you would expect for 100ish dollars. Runs most games at high settings, not extremely nicely, but playable. Games like HL2:E2 will be blazingly quickly, and even Crysis Warhead runs pretty effectively with everything cranked up on a 1680x1050 resolution monitor. About the noisy fan- I was about to appropriate a assessment about how terribly loud this card was, like, helicopter in my living space loud, but following the latest Windows 7 auto-update a few days ago, it's pleasingly quiet, only speeding up when it gets a very good workout. Ahead of update, insanely loud- but this appears to be fixed. Not the prettiest card either... But I like it adequate exactly where I bought it to run SLI, hopefully it's as outstanding as the testimonials make it look.

It displays well on my 22 inch 1080p monitor. Plays COD:Black Ops with no stutters at that resolution with mostly high settings. Fantastic card for single monitor at that resolution. Don't will need greater card unless multiple monitors or super high resolution. Runs about 60 C when gaming difficult at default fan. It can be loud at higher fan speeds, but high speed not necessary unless overclocking and I am getting great efficiency with out OC. Excellent for the dollars.

great frame rate in WoW 60fps in Windows 7 and xp with max settings. Excellent driver stability and with distro driver in Ubuntu/Kubuntu no troubles with desktop affects Kubuntu10.10 amd64 wine running Wow frame rate with opengl is about 40-50 d3d is 25-35 genuinely content with this card. GLXGears in terminal will do about 40k-70k useing the distro driver available. Consider a energy provide no much less then 500 for this card. Card is Big i was like oh wow that card is massive you will lose a pci slot over this card and the fan.The fans are loud honestly ive been developing my own systems for over six years ive in no way heard a fan that loud but it does keep the card cool.

Good mid-range card. Great price tag. Runs WoW (Cat) incredibly effectively with a single card My very first one particular of these had a horrible buzz when operating, right after closer inspection, one particular of the internal cables was in the path of the fan. a small adjusting took care of the problem. I purchased 1 of these for a Pc I was creating and was so content with it I bought two far more to upgrade the dual 8800GT as a stopgap in developing my subsequent Computer.

Super straightforward install, quite a lot just plug and play.Fits fairly well on my tiny mobo.Stays cool and quiet when not beneath heavy use. A small loud when I run games but not so badly I can't hear it more than the music/sounds.Other than that, nothing at all else. I've been playing a bunch of my favorite games on max(Risen, Fallout: New Vegas, Dead Increasing two, Divinity 2) settings and Absolutely nothing lags! Extremely great mid-range card that gives you good quality dollar for dollar. Also fairly very good for playing backups if you're working with an emulator if you broke your PS2.

Review Date: 09/05/12
- Absolutely nothing performs much better at this price tag point.- Far more superior build top quality from Gigabyte- Can't here fan- Wonderful searching! what?

Sub-贄 (with rebate), incredibly quiet (when idle), 1 gb of onboard DDR5 memory, mini-hdmi output, runs just about every game i have on max (with my great processor and RAM), good bang for the buck the stupid totally free Hawx two game that came with is difficult to claim via UBISOFT's site, i'm nonetheless attempting to figure that out, wish they produced it substantially less painless and sent me a DVD with game as an alternative really superior value for the card, overall performance is solid, it has 1 gb with DDR5 memory for much less than 贄, what far more can you want? this is the most inexpensive "powerful" GeForce card you can get!

Review Date: 08/09/12
functions as advertised. temperatures run ㅖC even though browsing, 55-65C throughout gaming. 40-60 fps on ultra SC2 at 1080p, similar framerates for mass impact two with all settings turned up except AA fan can get a bit noisy.
