Disappointed
Comment:
This was my second presenter from this manufacturer. The first was smaller with less functions, but was a real trooper. I thought I'd give this multi-function unit a try and found it to be cheaper in every way. It was tricky to use and only worked sporadically. I had to send it back when the function button broke after only 2 weeks. Get another unit. You'll be glad you did.

Super Product
Comment:
I simply love this product...I can use several types of media while teaching class, and the great thing is that I can control the volume or mute the sound, when necessary since the language in some of the media might be a bit too adult in content for my young students.

a little dissapointing
Comment:
basic functions work fine--just as I expected. The laser pointer function needs to be turned on by a special button combination, and it turns itself off after a while, leaving the presenter without a pointer.

Great Product!!!
Comment:
This is a great product! Just plug it in and it works! The price is affordable, the construction is solid, and the fit is comfortable. However, they could improve the design with 3 single purpose buttons, On-Off, Laser, and function. As it is, you have to study the manual to operate it reliably.

Works good for what I need it for. I worry about the USB stick though. It's a little flimsy

Cheap product
Comment:
Liked features, but buttons on the side awkward to manipulate. Used for a week then one of the side buttons broke. The company would not replace it since it was not defective in their eyes. Cheap and not buying this brand again.

solid performer, so far
Comment:
Only used once, in a pretty small environment, but it seemed to perform well and reliably. I only used to advance, reverse sides and also the laser-pointer, but it seemed to work fine. They also processed, and delivered the item fairly quickly. I was pleased overall.

O;k but awkward
Comment:
Product works as advertised. User interface is a bit awkward due to the use of context specific buttons. In other words the same button is used for more than one feature so getting set up before a presentation is a bit awkward.

Bad Quality
Comment:
I got this because the reviews were so good but I have had two of these now and had to send them both back. One of them the laser didn't work and the other the laser and the media button did not work. I liked the way it was laid out and the functions but getting two in a row that were bad is not a good trend. I can't recommend this.

Worth It
Comment:
It works great, and it's easy to set up. You will need to memorize a few multi-button presses to gain access to some modes, but it is still a well-made, small, extremely functional remote.

Pretty handy!
Comment:
Small, lightweight and effective. Does everything I need it to do. I haven't tested the range yet, so it remains to see how far this guy will work. I'll be using it in church sanctuaries eventually, so time will tell. I gave it a slight ding on Features because a few of the buttons are in hard-to-reach places, and the mouse control is just a tad slow, but that may be more of a personal preference than a design issue. An ergonomic design would have worked a little better, but I suspect it would have resulted in an odd-looking design. If I lost this unit, I'd buy the same model again in a heartbeat.

Excellent Buy
Comment:
I was coordinating a workshop with 8 presenters. I bought this product to allow the presenters to use PowerPoint. All presenters quickly learned to use the Honeywell 4-in-1. The presentations went flawlessly. I strongly recommend this product.

Honeywell 4 in 1
Comment:
Worked as described. I bought this in anticipation of using it in a week for delivery of a PowerPoint presentation. Little did I know that I was going to need to lend it to someone becuse theirs' broke. I read the directions a few days earlier just so I would be familiar with it and when I needed it but when in the middle of his presentation his failed, I just hooked up my new presentation mouse into his computer and after about 10 seconds of explaining the directions off he was running with a total of about 1 minute down time. Now thats what I call a user friendly product and the students never lost interest all the while.

A truly great product
Comment:
I was going to purchase a different model because this one was ugly. But after reading all the reviews, I decided to go for it. It actually isn't ugly, and it works perfectly. What a great multifunctional device. You can backup your slides, go black slide, white slide, start slide show, exit slide show, etc, etc. Plus, the USB dongle slides right into the remote. Just perfect.

Good for the money
Comment:
I never owned one of these before, but I found myself in need as I had to do 5 presentations in one week in late July. I was somewhat bewildered by all the offerings, some exceeding $100 in price. I settled on the Honeywell because it had the features of the more expensive models at a much lower price. I was not disappointed. It performs as advertised and worked with all of the several computers I plugged it into. I did not test the range limit, but I walk around when I speak and I never walked out of range. My only complaint is about the operator's manual. It is typical of many imported items; very small print and poorly worded.

Honeywell PP4IN1 4-in-1 Wireless Media Presenter
Comment:
I just got it today and tested it out and was so pleased that I thought about writing a review before I forget. Mine came with batteries, and XP recognized the device right away. I went through the manual and everything functioned as it should for both powerpoint and media player, but 90% of the functions are obvious from the buttons. I don't think the description mentions an ability to change frequencies if there is interference, but the manual covers that, and it's very simple to do. My only complaint is that the laser isn't the brightest- my $5 cat toy laser is brighter.

Seriously, buy this item!
Comment:
I really wanted a presenter remote for my classroom, but I was unsure about an item this cheap. I decided to take a chance on it anyhow. Most presenter remotes are closer to $100 dollars , so I figured this was going to be a piece of crap. However, I quickly found that this remote is a great value. Laser pointer is easy to use and works great. The range is actually better than the box claims it will be; works through desks, tables, etc. The mouse pad is pressure sensitive, so it takes some practice to be prcise on your mouse movement. I can not think of anything about this remote that I don't love. It's an amazing tool and especially for the price. Don't waste your money on one of those more expensive ones. Just buy this one; you will not regret it.

Great device. Windows XP detected it with absolutely no problems. I use it with my home theater/media PC. The range on the device is incredible! For the money, it is totally worth it by far.

Fantastic! -Works w/ OpenOffice, too!
Comment:
Works perfectly with OpenOffice on both my Windows XP and my Ubuntu Linux computers. As expected, the Media Player functions are not compatible with any media apps on Ubuntu, but all other functions work flawlessly. The device was plug and play on both Ubuntu and XP. Highly recommend even for Ubuntu Linux users.

Honeywell PP4IN1 4-in-1 Wireless Media Presenter
Comment:
Works well did have some trouble getting the computer to recoginze it took plugging it in and then unplugging it then resyncing it with the usb connector. This may have been caused by interference though since I was using it in a sound booth with 5 wireless microphones. Overall works well would recomend it.
