Cons:Will need a GFX card for new games.

Pros:CheapIntegrated GFX are decent
Comment:
For the price it gets the job done. Intel cooling seems to do the job. Make sure you keep all your wires away from the cooling fan as it is very open and would be easy to get a wire tangled in the fan - use ties!!

This CPU is fast. It works. The OEM cooler is an old design, and I wish Intel would drop  it's push-pin design. However, cooler is quiet.

Using this for my new HTPC build along with an ASUS P8H61 and 8GB Corsair XMS3. Seems to be a good upgrade over the Q6600.

Pros:-fast-reliable -cool-great cost
Comment:
Great for starter gamer PC or just home office use. Intel graphics are pretty decent for normal desktop use, outperformed an AMD HD5450 1GB low end card I had. The stock cooler keeps the CPU at a good temp. The CPU it self takes a low amount of watts compared to some AMD CPU's and perform as good and even better in certain application. At this price range it's probably one of the best CPU for the money. I got it in a bundle deal with a motherboard for 159.99 so it was well worth it. PC was for a friend and he enjoys it a lot!

Cons:none but the fact it canot be overclocked

Pros:Cheap! (100$)powerfull (3.3 ghz)hypertreading
Comment:
bought this on sale to replace my old E7300 (2.66ghz core 2 duo) and is very impressed with it. coupled with 8gb of kingston hyperX memory and a GTX 650 Ti from asus, this is a very cheap gaming setup. running most games that came out in the last year on high with an average of 70 FPS. of course great for everyday buisness, but the real strenght of this monster is the games. scoring an average of 12% faster than the core I7-870 and 5% less than the core i7 2600k. i would recommend any time for a cheap gaming setup.

if your building a budget or portable gaming pc this does the job. i am however have opted for running a 560ti as the main gpu. if your looking to run visually heavy games from the built in graphics core do some reviewing. I think LinusTechTips on youtube has a few 'showdown' videos about GPU cores vs. dedicated GPUs.

Cons:No overclocking, ivy bridge i3s are out now, i5s much faster

Pros:Cheap, relatively fast
Comment:
Got this processor for a basic gaming machine, relatively fast for day to day things, games all run fine combined with a 6870. Ivy Bridge i3s are out now for basically the same price and a 5-10% increase in speed making this hard to recommend now. Solid processor in its own right.

Cons:None

Pros:Cheap, Fast, Acts like a Quad Core
Comment:
I like this little cpu, it's a pretty quick little dual core. I recently put it into a regular everyday internet browser/school work computer for my sister-in-law. There won't be anything she throws at it that it won't be able to handle. Would make a decent entry level gaming cpu if that's what you are looking for. Can't complain about it so far, would buy again.

Cons:No real cons, besides the fact I got it at $132, and a bit after it was knocked down to $119.

Pros:CheapQuickBuilt in IGPRuns cool
Comment:
Got it for a budget mild gaming system. Not too many games are that core dependent, plus on a tight budget it was a good buy. The low price points also for future upgrades, without the remorse of selling your old more expensive processor for dirt cheap. Works just great, completely satisfied. The heatsink and fan was easy to install and gave no trouble.

Pros:Noticeable little gain with overall performanceAffordable but still expensiveBuild-in graphic processor
Comment:
This is a great processor for those doesn't want to spend much money to upgrade. The processor have an igp build-in, although not very powerful, a dedicated video card can be added if needed. Depends on your application and compromises, this processor could get the job done and save you a couple dollars for a small coffee.

Intel Core i3-2120 3.3GHz LGA 1155 65W Dual-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:-Cannot be overclocked over 3.5 ghz.

Pros:-Excellent speed, beats the full line of AMD's CPUs in gaming benchmarks, even though you can't really overclock it.-Doesn't get hot.
Comment:
At the price I paid (114.99$), I am completely satisfied with this CPU. Even though it's not a quad-core, it performs exceptionally well in games. At the time, I didn't feel like spending about 224.99$ for the 2500k as I'm not really into multitasking anyway.

Cons:None so far.

Pros:Quick, quiet, cheap, & good video.
Comment:
I recently got one of these for a business computer build, and so far have been pleasantly surprised. Although this hasn't yet been extensively used, here's my early impressions.Good:- Inexpensive, i.e. I pricematched it to $115, which is pretty decent for a CPU.- So far I'm impressed with how snappy the computer seems to be with this processor.- Given that this build is strictly for business, and not running anything particularly intensive, the fan on the heatsink hasn't had to work overtime, and as a result, this thing is VERY quiet.- I've also been somewhat impressed by the on-chip video this CPU provides, i.e. I've seen a previous version of Intel on-chip video, and have been rather underwhelmed, even for something as simple as surfing, but this CPU is actually pretty decent. Just don't expect it to be good for serious gaming.Bad:- For the price, and knowing the CPU's limitations, so far there's nothing to add in this area....

Pros:Intel, runs cool and runs the latest games with ease.
Comment:
I PM'd this processor for $117.10 before tax. Same price as an i3 2100 with 200mhz higher. Undervolted this processor by .12v and does not exceed more than 50C on full load on stock cooling.I love this processor, games BF3 with ease on a large 64 map. Loses a few FPS against a Intel quad but for this price its a great proc.

Intel Core i3-2120 3.3GHz LGA 1155 65W Dual-Core Desktop Processor

Pros:Processeur assez performent.

Intel Core i3-2120 3.3GHz LGA 1155 65W Dual-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:price premium over the 2100, HD 2000 graphics

Pros:nice clock speed for core i3, hyperthreading, easy heat sink and quiet enough fan
Comment:
The heat sink is dead simple to install, and the fan is quiet since it doesn't typically need to run fast. Make sure to enable low fan speed (when at low temperature) in your BIOS to keep unnecessary noise down.Compared to a core i5 2500 (with no overclocking), this is a good value option if you don't need 4 distinct cores much, plus the hyperthreading in this CPU somewhat compensates for that since the 2500 doesn't have hyperthreading. If you've got a graphics card to pair with this processor, the weaker HD 2000 graphics compared to the 2500's HD 3000 is not an issue. Also, if you don't play graphic intensive games or a lot of video work then the HD 2000 is easily good enough. If you can get this processor on sale, it may be worth getting over the core i3 2100 if the prices are close. Since you can't really overclock this or the i3 2100, having the stock extra 200MHz over the i3 2100 is a decent boost (over 6%). Whether that justifies the price premium is your opinion. Personally I'd only get it on a sale.
