Wish I could have used it
Comment:
The CPU arrived ok and probably would have worked, but the system it was ordered with for was on backorder, and then soon after cancelled! no other systems were available to put it in at the same specs, price, and quality. Good thing you can return items to your company without hassle as in this case, too bad you still have to pay for shipping though. Be careful if you are buying a systems with a package of different items from your company. Check the links to see if all components are available. I recently checked and the system (the SLI barebone around $200) is still NOT AVAILABLE!!! But a package is that shows the system combined with memory is!

not bad
Comment:
CPU and heatsink work well. The processor is a great deal for the money. Only complain: the strips are useless and rather obstruct heat transfer from the processor. After scraping them off and applying arctic silver the unit worked perfectly.

Intel Core2 Duo E7500 2.93GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor
Cons:(none)

Pros:Decent clock speed (2.93GHz), Core 2 Duo series, "Wolfdale" core
Comment:
Not much needs be said about a CPU; it either works, or else it doesn't and a suitable replacement is sought. That aside, the E7500 is a good CPU for the price-point. It benefits from a Wolfdale core, as do its sibling-members of the upper-echelon of the Core 2 Duo Penryn 45nm family. Decently clock at 2.93GHz, the E7500 is a very capable choice for general home computing needs. My experience using this CPU has been a positive one.Would definitely buy again.

Blazing Fast
Comment:
This processor is so fast. Even though it is older it is the high end of the old so it is still faster than the newer ones. The only difficult part was installing the fan which didn't seem to want to stay in. The fan keeps it very cool. Overall a great buy

sweet
Comment:
For the price it can not be beat. I went with a Duo since my main concern is gaming. Thus speed is more important than a quad core as I do not know of any game that takes advantage of 4 cores or one that is beign developed with that capability. NOt sure how well the fan woudl install as I use water cooling. The cpu snapped in with autority and works like a charm. The price was excellent. I plan on using this cpu till the prices drop on the i7's and I move up to them

Comment:
Be careful buying this processor if you want to run virtual machines with WS08 or Windows 7 as the host server. WS08 hyper-v and Windows 7 Virtual PC will not install.

Cons:- None

Pros:- Fast- Good price
Comment:
I have had this product for about 2 months now and so far there are no problems with this CPU. I'm a gamer, and I run most of my games with 60+ FPS (depending on the game) with this CPU, and I am also able to Fraps gameplay without lagging now.
