Good for what it is
Cons: The Audio port on the board is a tight connection as one of the onboard chips nearly impedes the connector.
Pros: We ordered a dozen to build for a client, every board was in good condition and worked great. Comment:
The deciding factors for us were that it was an Intel board (easy for us to RMA) and it contained a PCI connector for the addition of a wireless card. |

Cons: I bought several of these boards to build computers for a few people and my main disappointment is the location of the USB headers. With these boards specifically designed for smaller cases it would be nice to have a header up near the front or ram side of the board.
Pros: The board is amazingly small and makes a wonderful board for mini pc's. I have a pc that mounts on the back of my monitor on the screw holes you would use to hang it on the wall. Comment:
Very tight construction my pico-psu sits right up against the ram since the 24 pin power conector is so close. Plus the intel fan flexes the intel board unless you install it after its in the case. Great for under $500 pc build. |

Fulfils my needs but compulsory post beeps irritating
Cons: Post beeps are compulsory. They cannot be turned off. Whereas other MB have plugin sounders that can be unplugged to get rid of the annoying POST beeps, the sounder on this MB is soldered onto the MB. According to Intel "it is a new feature we incorporated into series 4 boards and there are no plans to enable it to be disabled"
Pros: Works well with E7400 CPU. I needed a MB with parallel and serial port (connection via header) and this was one of the few that did and supported dual/quad CPU Comment:
If using the intel E7400 supplied fan that comes with the cpu make sure the enclosure has enough height to clear the fan. MI-100 do not! |

Newegg specs list as being compatible with core2 quad.specs on box state only 65 W core2 Quad. I recomended the wrong proc to my dad and he bought it instead of a 65 Watt. All parts were purchased by my dad on his account with Newegg.
