For less than $35 this is great RAM. I put it in an older Lenovo Thinkpad and it works great. I would recommend this memory for the price.

I installed this in my wife's mid-2007 MacBook. It's now maxed out with 1 X 2 GB + 1 X 1 GB.It boots and works fine. I haven't done any intensive testing with it but System Profiler recognizes it just fine and it seems to work with no issues. If things change I'll edit the review - looks like Mac people don't like this memory at all but it seems fine to me...

Minutes to set up, performs fine, great cheap upgrade for EEEPC 1000. None that I can see so far. If you're looking to upgrade your EEEPC, hold in thoughts, the stock OS, Xandros will only recognise 1 GB which it comes with. You will want to set up another OS to recognise the full 2GB (Such as Ubuntu)

Bought this to max out the memory on my Eee Computer which shipped at the same time as this item. Install was rapid and uncomplicated. The Eee Computer bus speed is 533, but it is protected to set up memory that is quicker than the bus speed. I have under no circumstances had any problems with Kingston and I doubt I ever will. None now or seen for the future. I'm impressed with evaluations of other brands but I do not want to take probabilities with them. Read below for how loyal I am to THIS brand. I have a wishlist of an AMD and an Intel tower I would like to build. The AMD has 8GB of Kingston Dual Channel and the Intel has 4GB of Dual Channel. Each are DDR800 as DC will not work with larger speeds on those systems. They are dream systems even though.

I operates wonderful in my HP dv6233se and like the other reviewer here stated, even though every memory net web site says that the dv6000s will only use 2 gigs, I'm seeing the complete four gigs that two of these provide in the bios and Widows 7 64. I don't know if these are the sticks I purchased right here or at a different web site but I do own them. Yea, I got these someplace else, sorry Newegg, I'm a traitor but only right here and there. On the entire, I'm a loyal consumer..... I had to replace the mobo in this notebook and bought the memory along with it. My opinion is that when you go to diverse memory net internet sites like Kingston, they have the specs from the notebook manufacturer and that is all they have to go by. For instance, the dv6000 notebook line comes with Vista 32 bit which will only recognize up to or a small additional than 3GB of memory so Kingston says that you can only use two 1GB sticks which is right, but if you reinstall with Windows 64 bit it will use 4GB. I have located this on 4 other notebooks that came with 32 bit and I reinstalled them with 64 bit Widows. You have to experiment and take tiny probabilities to get maximum performance from your machines!

This produced my Asus Eee 701SD run correct. My 701 was crashing when I had two or more applications open. So I replaced the 512MB RAM with this. All good now. None The 512MB RAM that came with my Eee 701SD just wasn't cutting it. Get this and let your Eee reside up to its potential.

Performs ideal!! I got this for my Asus EEE Pc 900 20gb running Windows XP. The ram is adequately recognized by my OS. none!! I've read forum threads that say that this ram sometimes doesn't function with their EEE Pc 900 while operating on the battery. Do your study! I risked it, and look at myself fortunate because it works ideal. Results may be diverse for you.

Did my investigation on the Eee forum(s) and different user testimonials on the net. From what I study and my personal historical RAM allegiance, I went with this stick. As advised in the forums to be certain it works, I memtested it, loaded the setup defaults in the BIOS (latest version), and checked to see that my Eee didn't freak out when I switched from AC to batter energy and back once more. All systems are go! The anxiousness of not knowing which 2GB RAM may well operate with my particular Eee, contemplating the troubles I've study others having. Glad this 1 performs. Eee 900 16g, purchased refurbished from this very internet site.

Just have to go to the bios screen and confirm that everything operates.Definite speed enhance noticed, and as constantly, a high quality item. Absolutely nothing Immediately after obtaining Corsair memory for my desktop, I chose Kingston for their quality with notebook memory and I am not disappointed.

Haven't utilized Kingston RAM in a whilst but you can't beat it's overall performance and the price tag. If you know what RAM you're seeking for, it's a reputable stick that you can use to upgrade your notebook which is less pricey than it's peers but a lot more reputable than generics. none

Works wonderful as it must, 64-bit producing use of each and every MB. My laptop doesn't have more ram slots. By the time i need to have to upgrade this laptop, hopefully they will have doubled the size and kept the price tag the exact same.

It operates. I upgraded my lappy from 2 to 3 GB total now. Umm... to upgrade to four Gb, I'd have to rip off my keyboard. So not actually a con with this item. I'm not overclocking or something crazy. Just running Vista on my Latitude.

IT Functions.Never ever purchased a stick of Kingston that was DOA. Open my Thinkpad R60 up, pop it in, and BOOM! Laptop is practically twice as fast as ahead of. Performs perfectly. Memory is really quick for the price tag, out-performs the pal's Important 2GB of the same speed. But once more, it's not gaming RAM. But then again, I can by no means tell the difference. It performs, that's all that matters! 5 bucks over the no name generic, but hey, I know I'm receiving some thing that I know will perform! Kingston memory is all I've employed, and will ever use. Trust me, it's definitly worth paying the extra ŭ bucks to get a well made, trusted name brand piece of memory. Works perfectly on my IBM Thinkpad R60 w/ no troubles whatsoever. Amazing boost for the price!Advocate Kingston memory to any individual who's buying RAM. Never ever had on die on me out of some one hundred or so I've purchased in the past. TY Newegg for rapidly shipping, similar day
