Good RAM when it operates, and very very good price tag. RAM module I received is negative. This doesn't happen really often but I received a faulty a single. The system will recognize the RAM, I was capable to even set up the OS (sometimes) but the module will fail memory tests I/Os. Ultimately it will start out freezing up and get to a comprehensive halt. If you buy this memory as I did and you start out experiencing difficulties do not drive your self nuts and run a memory test check just before doing anything else.I hope this aids a person. Till now GSkill is the only memory RAM brand that has in no way failed on me.

As opposed to the image this DIMM is mush shorter in height. So if you have any height concerns this is a definite benefit. I installed this in a mini itx system so that was an advantage for me. None so far Not substantially else to say. It's 2G of memory and performing specifically what it really should. So far no apparent troubles.

Highly low profile memory. Low voltage specifications for optimum efficiency. Fantastic speed for the value of 2GB. Very low heat and a decent tolerance to intense climate conditions. Double sided, but not that a lot of an concern since there is next to no heat. These low profile double sided 2GB sticks are great for the tiny circumstances or embedded systems. I use these sticks at function and the constructed personal computer systems go into the outside/harsh environments maintaining track of climate information. I have but to have one of these sticks fail immediately after a year of switching more than to them. Operates flawless with Linux.

Low-cost ྴ.49, w. free of charge S+H), operates. Exceptional tech help by Kingston. This was not especially listed as compatible with a Dell E520, with its mystery mobo, but it works fine, even even though I read later that it is sppsd to have 1mb modules, for a max of 4. Smaller sized module than typical DDR2. But I did not comprehend that 32 bit Windows can not noramally make use of far more than 3gb, even with PAE enabled, which Vista w/ lots of apps operating will often all use up. 4gb shows up in Sys. Prop., but only 3gb in Task Manager.

Installed the memory module in a new make, ran & passed memtest86 then installed Ubuntu on my file server machine. It has worked perfectly. It arrived by itself, in factory plastic package, inside of a bubble padded shipping envelope. I was almost horrified to open the envelope in worry of damage through shipping, but it arrived okay. If this memory meets your specification, it is a good obtain at a fantastic cost.

none manufacturing method obviously lacks any high quality control, 2% pass on memtest, the material on wich is created looks and feels like trash. Clearly when a firm feels comfortable with the size of its marketplace share its all downhill from there, only tried Kingston memory three times once from finest purchase, once from circuit city(both particularly overpriced but necessary them correct away)and this time, all three instances it has been a waste of my time, cant feel that a second tier corporation as Wintec can be far more dependable and of much better top quality wth the ampo line from now on Wintec and g-skill will be the only opcions I think about

I put this module on a mini-ITX Atom board. It performs well. The module itself has a low profile, which is nice for setups where you may not have a lot of room inside the situation. None so far.
