Kingston 2GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Desktop Memory - Retail
Comment:
Bought four pairs of this for my Ultra 20 M2, maxing it out to 8gb. Is fantastic ram, has single bit ECC protection, and is quick enough to satisfy my requirements. Very compatible across machines, and has minimal heat generation. For 26 bucks a pair, it was the ideal investment and most amount of ram I've bought in my 15 year history of developing and upgrading systems. None You owe it to yourself to at least have a system with 2gb of ram, even if you're somebody's grandpa or a ten year old. For this little investment, you'll qualm most of the widespread issues folks encounter with their computers. Is a should for any individual who plays games, uses a lot of browser tabs, or keeps their machine on all the time.

Cons:Just worried that it wouldn't mix with my other 3x512mb sticks.

Pros:2GB in an older Dell Q963 motherboard. Optiplex 745!Works!
Comment:
It works! That's all I was looking for. Dell Optiplex 745 mixed with 3 512mb sticks of ram. I have Win7 32-bit so it only see's 3069mb, but it would see 3.5gb if I had Win7 64-bit!

Did not arrive as DOA. Functions perfect. Excellent cost, and hey two more gb of ram does increase gaming performance (slightly not huge) When I had a corrupt OS (due to old os from HP set) this ram would not work. My patriot did... but this 1 didn't. Following I reformatted this ram worked. That's the only con i can believe of. Just make sure your motherboard/OS is operating proper and this ram really should work fine. Uncomplicated installtion, make sure you push it in difficult. That's the finest way to make sure you won't get blue screens. Otherwise if you do DOA

Cons:none yet that i can think of

Pros:cheap, big, and fast
Comment:
Very good price for cheap 2GB of ram in DDR2 format Really hard to find ram at that price cause DDR3 for 4GB would sell near $35 ish Didn't find any errors upon use I would buy again if i had toupgrade work computers with DDR2.

Comment:
It functions good and it offers me much more than sufficient RAM for all tasks. None, except that it's not even close to how fast RAM is now. If you have the Asus P5N-D board, this RAM is for you. The board if fussy about what RAM can go in it, and this is the only RAM approved for 8GB use in the board. By approved, I mean tested and functions.

Comment:
its trustworthy and decent memory and it's 2GB. I got it to enhance my 64-bit technique to 8GB, and no bluescreen so I'm happy. Kingston produced these smaller, which is fine, but if you use a tiny motherboard and space is cramp and you got medium to huge hands, it's a tad tougher to get the items in. given that you don't have as significantly room to play with, be certain to push these in, for me, it needed a bit additional force, but don't apply too significantly, otherwise you'll risk breaking it. Nonetheless advise this product, its wonderful for those who want economical decent memory.

Quality Ram worked with out a hitch in the D945GCLF2 and D945GCLF2DThe two older modules came in the modest form factor (pictured) and the most recent was the normal form factor which is not pictured. The regular form factor gives no space in the Apex Mini-ITX case among a second harddrive and the ram. Standard form factor is not pictured but has the identical model number. I have purchased three of these modules at 3 unique occasions. All of them have performed wonderfully. I was not thrilled to get the taller version of this, but it actually does not make a issue.

Comment:
This RAM is short (as in height) generating it much easier to construct ITX style computers. I feel this was particularly built for the ATOM boards. I wish they had this DDR2 800 in this style too (they have 1gb but not 2gb). Its roughly half the height of normal RAM. I have ordered two so far, 1 came DOA. I don't think that it was the RAM company's fault. I noticed that the RAM came from the RMA department (other items in the exact same order did not), so it could have been dead in an individual else's computer prior to mine (which doesn't bode properly for this distributer). I am sending it back, waiting for a new stick to come. (which hopefully doesn't come from the RMA warehouse!) If you are short on space, and you need 667 or lower DDR2, this is the stick to get. Even if you have a typical sized pc, the lower RAM size will make it less complicated for air flow and cabling. If you are making use of the APEX MI-008 case with a full height challenging drive mounted under the Optical drive, you fairly considerably require to use this RAM due to physical size limitations. Also, I'm out 8 dollars on shipping back the DOA stick, but I'm not genuinely taking away any eggs for this part of the knowledge, it wasn't the fault of the item in my opinion.

Comment:
Half height style makes it desirable for say a Mini ITX create. High density which is nice for 1-two slot motherboards. DDR2-667 is not that quickly, but then once again you know what you're acquiring so it's not Actually a con I suppose. Had no difficulties installing this on my Intel "Little Falls two" Atom 330 board. Half height truly came in handy.

Pros:Works as intendedDecent price
Comment:
Not much to say, works as intended for a decent price. DDR3 is obviously much cheaper now but if an old system needs DDR2, this is probably the one to buy. cheap/decent quality/good replacement for older ddr2 ram
