It's a great way to speed up a mediocre computer. It's cheap and it works. What else do you want?

Works fine, marked speed improvement
Comment:
I like the Kingston brand, simply because I have used it off an on over the years without any problems. I placed these two ram sticks in a older Dell and it booted up without any problems. The PC recognized the new ram and has been running for several weeks without any errors. If there is an error, it is usually a blue screen of death on the first boot up. This Dell only has two slots for the ram, so I pulled out the two 256MB sticks and replaced them with these. Saw a marked improvement in the speed, guessing around (25-30%).

Did the job
Comment:
Install was as easy as pie, just do the research beforehand if you're a novice like I am. I noticed a quicker startup and improved performance. I have an HP Pavilion running on a 2.8GHz Pentium 4, upgraded from 512 MB RAM to 1.5 GB RAM

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have a Compaq Pressario SR1303WM. The RAM fit perfectly into my ASUS Motherboard only it detected as PC2700. I am sure thats a problem with the motherboard and not the RAM just wanted to let you know that this RAM helped me regain the much needed speed. I am running a Linux OS called Ubuntu and have experienced no problems related to the RAM it actually made the system run a little faster than I had hoped. I hope this was helpful to anyone looking to add more RAM to their PC.

Its as easy as they tell you
Comment:
For a non-computer geek, I found it very simple to locate the exact type of memory I needed (which was a grave concern of mine), it arrived quickly and was a snap to instal. I extracted the factory installed memory and replaced with the the dual 512's and every thing works great. Now if I can only strip my system of spyware I'll be happy

Extremely fast service from this retailer, product as advertised, very easy to install. I thought my computer's performance would be significantly improved, but improvemnt was only so-so (but worth the $40).

I bought this memory to upgrade my daughter's computer and it works great. Installed it and booted up the system and everything works great. She's happy with how "zippy" her system is now and I'm glad there were no issues with the quality of the RAM.

I have used Kingston memory for years and have never had trouble with the memory or the support i have received from Kingston! Obviously the person that said that ''it crapped out on me after two months of regular everyday usage'' did not use an anti-static wrist strap or either did not know how to use one! I still say Kingston Rules!

Ya gotta watch these guys 'specially if you live in Ontario...one day delivery!!!! need to camp out on front stoop to wait for UPS! Excellent Ram no trouble install....BIOS instantly reconized as did W2KPro/XP. Read 1015 and change instantly, cranked up the frame buffer setting from(shared video mem) stock to 128MB, noticed smoother transition when viewing HD progs on tuner card, better rewind function on both tuner and DVD playback, not a gamer, I like to underclock so machine runs cooler. One gig is sufficient for home-built DVR. Would certainly buy one or two (depending on slots avail.) of the 2gig version for my next ''daily driver'' in near future.
