I bought two sets of those, one to upgrade the performance on an A10-6800k and one for mITX build with a watercooled i7-4790k. In both case they performed admirably. On the AMD APU, I got an average increase of 7-8 FPS in Smite, Dragon Age Inquisition and WoW (vs the old 2+4gb unmatched RAM sticks)On the i7, I only pushed the CPU and RAM up 15% since they are in no way bottlenecking my system otherwise and they showed no sign of increased temperature or other side-effects. All in all, It's a solid choice if you're building a mini-PC since there's only 2 DIMM slots on mITX boards and thus no place for further expansion. |

Bought this on sale, was intending to get 1600. My third set of HyperX sticks that work great. Like the heatsinks, they don't stick out too high and block the larger CPU heatsinks that people like to install. |

No problems with this pair - works as advertised. Has a slightly different look than others, which is nice, but RAM is RAM.
