There not much to say about this drive other then it works, been buying LG drives for a number of years and never had one fail. Always good preformace. Just note that if you have XP 64-bit that this drive will not work even tho it says it supports XP, it supports XP 32-bit only. I contacted LG and they can't help you for 64-bit XP as they never made the software to work for it.I would give a 5 but it was mis-leading for supported OS's.

The only thing to know is that if you are running the Power DVD 9 and want to watch Blu Ray is that you can only have one monitor/tv running at a time and that your monitor/tv has a dedicated line and high def capability. If you try and run two output devices at the same time Power DVD will puke. Incredible imagery.

This retail version also comes with a good software package which includes burning and viewing DVD as well as BLU-RAY.I burned the included Verbatim BD-R at 6x flawlessly. It's a steal at $89.99.

This thing can play pretty much anything you put in it. Great upgrade if you want to watch blu ray. I think it makes much more sense buying one of these burners rather than getting a regular one that connects to the tv.

I picked up one of these burners about a month ago, and so far have been pleased with this piece of hardware.The Good:- Seems to be rather quiet, although the several fans in my computer case may simply be drowning it out,- Comes in a retail package, including a free Verbatim BD-R disc,- Can burn all the Bluray discs I've used(only Verbatim, so far), at a speed higher than the media is rated for, at least if you want to do so,- Although I haven't watched any of the approx. dozen HD video discs I've burned, I have skimmed through them, and all the burns appear to be fine,- Although I haven't tried either function, apparently this drive is capable of 3D playback, as well as having the ability to burn labels on Lightscribe discs.The Bad:- ???Although I've never had any previous experience with any LG optical drives, I thought I'd give this one a shot, and so far have been rather pleasantly surprised with this drive. The only thing that remains to be seen, is what sort of longevity this drive will have, but up to this point at least, this drive seems like a keeper.

You can get it at a very good price most of the time, it's a good deal. I like the fact it is ready for 3D and that id does LightScribe.

For less than $100, this is a good buy. After stalling to burn my 1080p home movies, I had to get this. I didn't want to lose picture quality by burning to DVD.The burner is great. It's fast, and easy to use. Definitely recommended.

you can read the blu-ray reader until you put the drivers but it's very efficiantly. It's work great and we can write a Blu-Ray with it, Magic

Bought this on sale for 89.99, This is my second LG Blu-Ray and have no complaints about either of them. I have well over 400 burns on my first one and it's still going strong. Fully expect the same performance from this one

Love this product, this is the 2nd Blu Ray burner by LG that I have owned, I recently upgraded my box and got this drive. Wow, love it, and use it everyday. Well worth the $$ so go buy one now

Ce graveur bluray est probablement la meilleur afffaire du moment. Il vient dans une boite complète de vente au détail avec tout ce qu,il faut dedans. LG est un manufacturier fiable de longue date pour les graveur de médias donc celui-ci devrait être tout aussi bon. Par contre je le trouve assez bruyant lorsqu'il tourne à pleine vitesse mais pour mon application (ordinateur de table)c'est accapetable. Certainement un bon achat.

I have always used Pioneer drives but it was cheaper to get the LG ones for Blu-Rays. This is my second Blu-Ray drive and I absolutely love it. I have yet to burn Blu-Rays but the drive is really quite compared to the LG GGC-H20L when reading and writing DVDs. I also wasn't expecting to see a blank Blu-Ray disc.

price point is decent now, so figured was time to get a blue ray writer. This one has good reviews and was under 100. Works just as you would expect it would. A perfect replacement for your current DVD burner. This one should last you a good many years.

Slipped this into my case. not much to say, it reads, writes just like any other blu ray combo drivers. the silver line in the front doesn't match my black case :/. I was in a hurry so i took this one.

LG has always been my preferred company when it comes to optical drives and LCD screens. I have owned MANY LG drives for years (starting with CD-ROMs, etc) and none of them has failed, even after years upon years of burning and reading discs. The only reason I had to replace them was to upgrade to the latest technology and never because of any problems witht he drives themsleves.All in all, LG optical drives are workhorses and I expect nothing less from this one. So far, it's been performing perfectly and reading all my CDs, DVDs and BlueRay discs. I've burn a few Optodisc BlueRays with it too and there was no issues, plus the 25GB/disk capacity allows me to back up all my most important files all on one disk. It's great to back up your media (movies, music, etc) files as well, as the older 4.7GB DVDs just don't cut it anymore.

I've only tried this drive once to make a copy of a dvd and it worked great, haven't burned any blu-rays yet, but it seem's like a nice drive to have, glad to have bought it, also got a $15 gift card and a pack of blank blu-ray's with it and it was on sale so that helped to

Good performance at burning DVDs. 4x with the included BDR disks. Have not tried faster BD-R disks or dual layer disks yet, so cannot comment on the performance on those disks.

Bought it when it was on sale with $15 gift card and 10 Optodisc BD25 4x...burnt them at 4x without problem and movie play well with my Sony S350 standalone but PowerDVD 10 could not id the disk format most likely need update  for the software.Haven't try BD50 yet but ordered some JVC 4x 50GB, hope they will burn as well.Price point is affordable and couldn't wait till they drop  to DVD burners level, most likely in a year or two.
