Good long cords and quite quiet! I purchased this to replace a earlier power provide that had insanely quick cables. I decided on *this* model since it showed that the power cord unit didn't have those horrible small wings (that don't fit my case). As quickly as I opened it... I saw the wings. I don't want to snip the sides of my case, so now this is anchored only by a single screw and a sugru shelf. Be cautious if you purchase; the image is various from the actual item. I need to have read far more evaluations and purchased a diverse PS.

I just constructed a Vista level pc with a new motherboard (ECS), 2gig Corsair DDR2-800 memory, ƒ) DVD burners, AMD 3800+ X2 AM2 processor, ZIP 250 drive, 500GB SATA WD drive, ATI X1650PRO graphics card - so far almost everything runs great - the power provide powered up fantastic. None truly...it isn't as quiet as some other people have indicated, you can hear the fan..but it's not so undesirable...just don't count on it to be silent as it is not !!! You don't get the warm and fuzzy feelin' that this power provide will get you many years of service - but is low-cost sufficient that you could replace it quickly if it died - hopefully in the subsequent 3+ years ; that's when I foresee a next "upgrade"...By the way, kudos to Newegg...what a good firm...hold up the fantastic operate - I fairly a lot buy all my computer stuff here !!!

Low cost, 25A 12v Rail, Stable Voltages (see cons), fits in my microATX case, 120mm fan is quiet and vents air nicely from my P4 3.4E lowering my CPU temp by 5C idle and about 10C below load. actually nice due to the fact mATX situations dont have alot of fan slots. i like how it appears also. 12v rail only gives 11.65v +/- .05 (no stability difficulties nonetheless) wires are thin compared to my other energy supplies (but this makes the cables flexable and effortless to perform with) I'd buy a different one of these, for the value this is a fantastic PSU. Cables are Extended ྫྷ"-14") a small cluttered in my tight mATX case. 2 more Molex would've been nice.

Not a single issue so far with this 1. Operating a dvd burner, dvd player, 4 challenging drives and an old geforce 5700 card. None so far, does as advertised. Not bad for the income, tends to make a fantastic back up.

none this PSU ran for aprox. 12 hours ahead of it shutdown and hasn't worked due to the fact. Remain AWAY FROM THIS Product! save oneself time and aggravation and get a better energy provide than this.

Really quiet and big fan. Runs really cool. Solid building. Higher powered, yet economical PSU that doesn't appear like it will catch fire on you. None that I have identified however. Once again Newegg rocks. Ordered on Tues AM, had on Thur.

Affordable. The fan is quiet. For now. Low-cost. 1 of the sata connectors had a wire hanging loose. The one particular I received had a continuous rating of 400 watts, not 480 like the one in the illustration. I would have bought one thing else, but it's not worth RMAing.

This PS has been constant - connected and powered every thing in my new method without flinching. I was unsure when ordering, but am impressed with the functionality. so far, so fantastic The lengths are adequate and the fan is cool and quiet.

Dependable for three years now, quiet fan, voltage on rails above average, steady voltage, trustworthy! Internal parts and connectors are of low quality. Has proved to be a workhorse. Have utilized on overclocked AMD & Intel program's.

Great PS for the funds. Had to upgrade to this unit simply because of my program specifications. It is operating fine with no difficulties so far. I thought the wire size (Gage) for this PS have been a little smaller, and only had a single set of banks for SATA. All round this is a excellent PS.

Wonderful value, quiet, relatively high good quality, a lot of connectors (unless you want a PCI-E 6pin) none so far We've applied about 5 or six of these so far at the computer shop I perform for and we've had no complaints so far. They appear to be of a pretty nice good quality, even though they're no Antec (but then again neither is their pricing). Weight is medium, not as well light, but not really heavy either. I also like it's a simple silver PSU with no lights or any of that useless stuff on it. 120mm ball bearing fan suggests it's quiet and the fan won't put on out almost as quickly as brush or sleeve fans.

it performs not anyone's fault but Dell, but had to ream a hole in shoppers personal computer to make it match. Need to had observed the look on the customers face when I had a Dremel to the back side of their tower.

Extremely affordable, felxible cables, 550 Watts, large quantity connectors with SATA help. No PCI-e connectors, but I wouldnt use a energy provide this low-cost on Pc with a video card anyways, Employed it in a make for my sister with Vista, came out wonderful, everything working very good so far.

Wonderful computer system, wonderful speed. low power supply, requirements way more ram. this computer system would be the greatest if it can load the programs faster for these who like to see there slidebar on windows vista.

It works, it's steady, and quiet sufficient. Fan blows air out of my case, which is significantly cooler now. While I assume my old PSU was developing a lot of heat due to bad amperage. Had to turn it upside down to fit it in my case. No detailed amperage in the specs. Practically didn't acquire due to the fact of it, but it does the trick. I purchased this to replace my prior PSU, which burned out. Was a little leery of a single so inexpensive, but it doesn't disappoint.

Perform excellent so far. No glitches, no challenges. As an individual currently described, 550w is the peak draw rating - runs continuous in the 400+ range, but great sufficient for my purposes!

Item operates when it was operating. It died precisely right after my warranty for newegg died so I can't return it to RMA, and I have lost the original box for it so I can't return it.The Power Provide was turned on generally when I turned it on for the day and the personal computer wasn't turned on, then I check to see if it was anything else but it was the energy provide that didn't supply any power when I turned it on, then it started to smoke when I tried it the second time which made it smell weird, I consider it fried my motherboard also when it did that but I will need a new energy provide or get it replaced from the manufacture. Died following 1 year of standard use.

Fantastic Price tag !!!Seems to be quite quiet. Voltages quite very good. The fan in mine blows the suitable direction (sucks air from underneath side and blows it out the rear of case) An earlier post reported backwards air flow but mine is right. Not really a dilemma but the cables are handful of but lots for a customer build and they are hard to get on but like I said this is not seriously a problem and I would rather have a tight one that a loose one particular if you know what I mean Attempt One particular you will be satisfied

Colorful Box Fire Hazard! If you want to gamble with this one particular be our guest, we did. The PSU started a fire the second it was turned on a brand new make and melted the wiring harness all more than the inside of the laptop.
