* Sturdy and stunning.* Accepts a typical power supply.* Accepts Micro-ATX motherboards OUCH! FRONT PANEL LED'S ARE Too DARNED Bright!(caps utilized on goal... that's how vibrant the LED's are) Although I didn't run out of space, I nonetheless propose obtaining a modular PSU, so you can use only as a lot of internal power cords as you will need. It will make installation simpler, and market superior airflow. I went with a non-modular energy provide, and was fighting the additional cords the whole time.

Lian-Li, sufficient stated already. If you haven't owned a case from them ahead of, you don't know what you're missing. Very, quite light and properly built. I like this model simply because you provide the PSU (your decision on brand/reliability) and you have 4 low profile PCI slots. Amazing finish about the complete unit. Good sound dampening tools for difficult drives incorporated. Spacious and effectively made interior layout. Unbelievable ventilation - 6x70mm fans!!! Not truly a con, but if you plan on putting a discrete graphics card in (although you seriously don't will need to now-a-days with 780G/X4500), make confident the passive/active heatsink isn't also tall. The HD 3450 I had purchased came with also massive of a passive heatsink so possessing to replace it now :( -ฤ investment...I'll send it to my parent's rig lol. Oh and a single other issue - they use awkward 70mm fans, so you can't locate H.Q. Scythe or SilenX in mass quantities. If you're prepared to invest the money, as of correct now, this is in my opinion the greatest HTPC case for it's size, make excellent, ventilation - it's just Wonderful!!! It even has ventilation on the bottom of the case for your really hard drives - fantastic engineering seen all over this bad case. This is a single of these markets - you get what you pay for.

*Slim design.*All angles are detailed just as significantly as the front panel.*Scratch resistant (I truly scratched it a couple of occasions to test the quality of the design and style...It's just a case...passed that test also)Ʀ three.5 Drivebays*Very Spacious to be so slim and compact*Very Quiet *Can help low profile video cards *Full ATX Power Provide *If your intent is replacing the fans excellent luck on finding 70mm case fans. Fairly challenging to find. * I kind of want I purchased the C-36 since the Optical Drive slot is alot far more discreet. I didn't notice that the C37 had a separate section for the Eject Button. But it's no huge deal. * Do substantial research if ordering all parts on-line. Sizing items like energy supplies, cpu fan clearance, producing confident you have low profile or low profile-ready cards are significant and a need to. Fortunately I did this ahead of ordering the parts. Finding older I decided to transform my computer system style and demands from gaming to media. I thought that the space given within the case would compromise efficiency, and result in me to downgrade alot of my accustomed gaming performances. Not the case at all. I did alot of study to put my new HTPC collectively, and benefits have been astounding. Glad I purchased this case.

It is incredibly light and looks quite nice (watch the fingerprints) it is quite short in height so be cautious what you order to place inside it.This is to replace an older HTPC I constructed back in 2007, I had a Axhanix with the touch screen which drove me insane, poor assistance poor manual and a true pain acquiring the touch screen to function with the software program (outdated) offered. So I went with a more simple project.I am really pleased, my warnings come from my personal mistake in not realizing almost everything requirements to be low profile to go inside. I had to buy a new video card and modify my CL Xfi card. Also only space for 1 difficult drive and 1 optical drive. I place a 1 TB Green Western Digital and Sony read write drive. So my create was total and I am additional than delighted to give this case five eggs, just heed my warnings, personally no complaints with air flow or heat (just running a stock fan on a Phenom Dual) Did i say looks good Every thing going inside demands to be Low Profile or else it wont match. Limits the cooling fan and expansion card possibilities.Oh stick on LIAN-LI name badge (tacky) If you want one thing to look very good with your Tv set up, you cant go wrong, as long as you can live with the limitations it creates.

Quiet as hell, and appears great in my entertainment center. I utilised the HD bay beneath the DVD bay to hide and route most of the cabling. If you strategy on putting in a 2nd HD, it could get tight. Also, a modular PSU is a requirement. you'll be unhappy if you don't get one particular.

It's a sharp hunting case that fits well in my property entertainment center. The case is well ventilated. The fans aren't as well noisy. The power provide is on the incorrect side of the case. It sits at the bottom of the method board. The energy supply connectors could not attain the sockets even on a micro ATX board. I had to get extension cables to get it to fit. I want they would have discovered a way to place the power provide on the other side. Also, The blue energy light is a bit bright. It's extremely cramped inside the case. I don't fault the case, that's what happens when attempting to get as compact as possible with 3.five" hard drives and a full size power supply. If you upgrade typically you may want to go with a larger case than this a single.

I was expecting a longer build time utilizing this case, but it was one of my quicker ones. Almost everything fit incredibly nicely. Rounded edges, wonderful characteristics, great styling. The top quality of the flip-down optical door was impressive and a relief to me. Absolutely nothing. This point requires a complete-size ATX PSU. This is a huge upside to the case.

Like all of Lian-Li's circumstances, this is a beautiful, light, simple to work in case - I have no complaints at all about it :-) none Be warned, even although this is a Micro-ATX case, it makes use of a complete-sized ATX energy supply (and nowhere in the Newegg spec sheet does it say so).I purchased this case to use with the ASUS P7H55-M PRO Motherboard (micro-ATX), which fit like a dream, but I identified that the four-pin motherboard power connector is on the complete opposite side of the case from the energy provide after every thing was installed, Make confident that you get a complete-sized modular ATX PSU, with motherboard connectors of sufficient length - 18" or longer would be advisable.

Gorgeous fit and finish. Brushed aluminum, lightweight, sufficient space for what you need to have in a HTPC. Will accept typical PSU with rear or bottom fan. The PSU gets installed upside down so a bottom fan will be on leading drawing air straight from a leading vent and out the back. Two very quiet fans installed, one particular on each side. Really bright power and HDD LEDs. If the case is installed at eye level (which mine is) the light is unbearable. I have unplugged the LEDs from my motherboard. If the case is NOT installed at eye level, the LED brightness is OK. They look to concentrate the light straight out so viewing them at an angle tremendously reduces the cornea frying glare. Installation was a breeze, but cautious planning a must! Start by removing Almost everything from the inside of the case (HDD bracket, Optical/HDD bracket, main support bar). Once you have an empty box, start by installing the MB, preinstall the HDD & Optical drive in their brackets. Then connect the front panel headers. Subsequent, the PSU. Then the Optical drive bracket followed by the HDD bracket and the cross bar. Now connect anything. I utilised the single HDD bracket for my 1 HDD, I didn't use the HDD space under the Optical drive. I utilized that space for the additional PSU cables. A modular PSU would operate effectively, but for me my Corsair 400W worked fine. My extended BluRay/HD DVD drive was NO issue. There is empty space left over for extra cables amongst the MB and the front of the case (under the HDD bracket) if you require it. I Adore this case, passes the WAF!!! It's connected by means of HDMI to a 37" Panasonic plasma. Installed a low profile Gigabyte HDMI vid card and Tv tuner card. Gigabyte MB, Intel E8400.

This case has a good slim design and style that fits nicely subsequent to my elements. So far every person that has observed this case had no clue it was a laptop. The integrated fans are quiet. The loudest issue in my case is the BD-ROM drive.Installation of the components went really well. I was capable to tuck wires underneath the middle bar to aid with airflow. The incorporated "Silent Remedy" is a nice touch I'm not sure how a lot it reduces the vibrations, but I applied it anyways. The activity lights are a small bright, but it's not a deal breaker. Make positive you plan out your installation, and think about where you need to have to plug the wires. Hand space becomes limited towards the finish of the installI would surely get this case once again, and suggest it to everyone who wants a fantastic searching HTPC case! These are the parts employed in my create:Power: Antec EA380 380WMOBO: GIGABYTE GA-E7AUM-DS2HProcessor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 Yorkfield 2.83GHzMemory: G.Ability 4GB PC2 6400HD: WD Caviar SE16 WD3200AAKS 320GB SataHD: WD Caviar Green WD10EADS 1TB SataBD-ROM: LG GGC-H20L Wireless: Rosewill RNX-G300LXTuner: Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2250

Incredibly higher good quality really feel correct out of the box. Uncomplicated, clean, functional, no frills style - fits in effectively with a modern day A/V setup. Assembly was a breeze. Really quiet, certainly silent compared to my XBOX 360. People had talked about that the CD/DVD door required double sided tape, there have to have been a revision since the door merely folds open and you optical drive slides out. Requires a couple tries to get the front best, but it was expected. Wish the front I/O was behind a door, as this is the only give away that this is a Computer. No surprises here. Great decision for a relatively low-cost, all aluminum chassis, standard HTPC. I have not added in any expansion cards (USB wireless, and no tuner card), but it seems that it would be a tight match.

Perfect HTPC case for my desires. High high quality, appearance fits in properly with other AV equipments, included fans are quiet, fits a complete size psu. LED's are vibrant, but see workaround in my "other thoughts". LED BRIGHTNESS Handle:The LED's are vibrant and I've seen others propose working with permanent marker to darken them. On the other hand, if you open the case and look at the LED's, you'll see a small gap between the LED's and the tube that transmits the light out the front of the case. Just spot a couple sheets of white paper amongst the LED's and tube and that will dim the emitted light. Add or subtract sheets to get your preferred brightness. Works excellent for me!

Fantastic case with excellent element layout. This case match all of the components in it completely right after I researched what would and wouldn't fit. The included fans had been perfectly really for now. The case wasn't at all flimsy as other folks had stated, at least not as soon as I had all the components installed and the cross-brackets. Would be nice if it had been smaller sized, but then it would sacrifice airflow and element compatibility. So you could say that it's fine the way it is. The size and look of the case remind me of a 1980's VCR.

-Runs silently-Case is solidly constructed-The look fits perfect with existing residence theater components-Ran into no burrs or sharp edges-Any professional that builds HTPCs, this is one of the ideal seeking, and built alternative I have come across.-PCI slot covers! No junky throw away punch-outs -No external three.five bay for a card reader, incredibly lame considering there is lots of area to put it.-If you don't use a modular power provide, you will have problems hiding the further cables.-Airflow is only sufficient. If they created this case 1cm taller, you would be in a position to set up 80mm fans rather than the 70mm they're utilizing.-Once more, if the case is 1cm taller, routing cables from beneath the mobo would be significantly much easier.-Want the mobo mounted on a removable tray, but can't count on this at this value point-Had to move the fan on the mobo side otherwise no access to the RAM slots (YMMV) I knew there would be a prospective heat situation so I ran the cooler WD Blue series with fantastic accomplishment.Wonderful case but very good luck obtaining very good excellent 70mm fans to fill the three readily available slots.

This case serves completely for the HTPC you want sitting subsequent to the home theatre technique. You cannot tell it is a Computer till you inform your loved ones and they are asking "Your kidding! Really?!"Pleanty of space for Micro-ATX boards and complete size PSU. Six side vents let for the placement of 5 addidtional fans...4 actually, the front appropriate vent is butted against optical drive bank, so not significantly airflow there, that is not to say there is any airflow problems...point has 9 venting ports! A lot of air will get by way of the case...unless you are operating hot gear to start with...but that is your fault, not the case's.I could not be happier with this case. Am developing a second HTPC for upstairs at the moment and seriously thinking of this case once again. If you want a pc that does not appear like a laptop, this is the case for you! If yours came with PSU, do oneself a favor and replace it. Very affordable. The fans could will need replacing depending on your cooling needs. Once more, quite cheap. For cooler systems though, they ought to suffice. Front energy LED is a bit bright. I just unplugged the motherboard connection. I do not will need to know that the case is on when I am watching a movie on it. Had a bit of trouble the second difficult drive mount installed with extra fan on the front correct vent. But that was only since I had a mod'd fan there, not really a LanLi dilemma, so no eggs off for that. All in all, have totally no complaints that truly should detract from receiving this case. As stated, the LED and fan challenge are user certain and effortlessly dealt with. If you don't like the energy LED, don't plug it in. That seems to be the most widespread complaint. And regarding fingerprints showing up effortlessly...this is for an HTPC, why would you be fingering it that considerably? Press energy, go have a coke and a smile even though you get pleasure from some shows.

Utilized this situation in my media cabinet as a HTPC. along with a AMD Athlon X2 4850e two.5GHz, ASUS M3A78-EM Motherboard, Vista. Operating Media center. It looks great, all fits in the case, lots of venting but unless you stick your ear proper subsequent to the box, you cannot hear anything. Case is well built, all fits together nicely. My CD/DVD Pioneer DVD±R DVD DVR-116DBK fits nicely and can operate the built in door smoothly. It looks like a professionaly built process.Recall it only fits LOw profile cards... the front blue LED is BLINDING! I place a touch of black on it. though I've built about a dozen PCs, this was my initially HTPC build, it does require some thinking for the cable path, this is not a Enormous case, nor really should it be, but it was all quite smooth, I'd recommend it.

Feather-light, high high quality construction, lots of thumbscrews, difficult drive/external drive encloser that is very effortless to get out. Lots of horizontal space. Front barely looks like a computer system. Sturdy legs. Quite limited vertical space (which is to be anticipated); I had to smash a power cord involving my video card and the rail holding the hard drive up. Very easily smudged. I enjoy Lian Li, just wish they weren't so high-priced!

This case is black alodined aluminum. Good for living space or office. Front panel is sophisticated and functional. No great for pt of sale terminal. The 70mm case fans are quiet. (Worry more that they are 15mm thick vs 25mm) A great purpose for 70mm: the fans fit "fan stations" along the case sides. Two left, 3 proper. This enables routing control more than airflow by means of the case. Extremely great!Case accepts ATX or mATX PSU., not SFX. Cables are a tight fit behind the CD/DVD drive, but you can fit a "standard" length CD/DVD burner OK.The two three.5" drive stations: 1 below the CD/DVD drive and the one particular visible in the photographs, "suspended" over the opposite side of the case. If you are using a modular energy provide and both CD and HDD are similar (SATA or PATA) then you can get away with only 1 dual-connector energy cable for your drives and reduce cable clutter. My CoolMax CU-700B fits snug, but beautifully, adding no heat internally.A essential advantage of the suspended HDD bay: no interferenc Blue LED is blinding. Splice 22 ohm resistor or use perm marker to dull the acrylic light pipe. (martybugs.net)Note the place of 20 or 24pin pwr conn on your mbd. If behind the backplate, the CoolMax and other folks may possibly require an extender cable to get around PCI or video cards. If opposite the backplate, at the "front" of the MBD, no probs. The four- or eight- pin "CPU Power Connector" need to be at least 12 inches extended or you'll will need an extender cable for it also. This is not a good case for the hobbyist or pro who requirements to experiment or swap out internal components. When you get the major off (two thumbscrews), you must entirely disassemble the crossbar and suspended drive bay to install the motherboard. You cannot just "flip up" the crossbar. That's a minimum of 8 screws to remove, 6 of them TINY, to open up the case and be able to set up the motherboard. A decent tower case will permit more quickly and less complicated drive access. Also undesirable they didn't cut a three.5" cover plate on the rt, There is spa The rubber grommets for vibration isolation are only for HDD's and use custom screws in order to function. This program performs well and the rubber grommets are frequent and uncomplicated to replace if damaged or lost.PSU's with the substantial 120mm fans will work - they vent by way of holes in the top cover. The CPU fan/heatsink sits beneath a matching vent panel other side of the leading cover.Your video card sits straight below a single flange of the crossbar. Mine fit like a glove, and gets good protection by the crossbar from dropped items although the case is open. Just beware that Anything protruding above a low-profile card slot will conflict with the crossbar. Huge, 4-core or larger flamethrower CPU's may well not be very best suited to this case without having water cooling. It's much less than three" vertical for CPU heat sinks. Modded sinks with 25x80mm fans and fan adapters will not fit. This would be a great case for liquid or heat pipe systems that don't demand height, but require some case room for routing and venting.

Exceptional HTPC case. Fans are silent. Looks great in household theater. Surprisingly straightforward to set up equipment into case despite it becoming small. Extremely good build high quality. When putting in the optical drive you have to fiddle about in order to make sure it is the correct distance from the front bezel. Blue energy LED is distractingly vibrant. I wish the PSU was on the ideal of the motherboard to make wiring easier, but it's essentially much better the way they have it for heat factors with the PSU and CPU on opposite sides, and a vent above each and every a single.

- Solidly built with no sharp edges- Fans are quite quiet- Slim height looks like a big DVD player or VCR- Easy and no frills- Lots of added screws included- ODD really uncomplicated to line up with front door button; all performs really smoothly - Particularly bright LEDs, specifically HDD LED- Style requires to be reversed so PSU sits on other side of mobo removing the want to route CPU power across mobo- Too many tiny screws; too quite a few different sized screws- Rubber grommets for HDD not preinstalled- No rear, only side fans not so wonderful for A/V cabinet installs- Major HDD cage sits tightly on major of mobo energy- Nowhere to place an IR receiver except externally- Shows fingerprints very easily- Costly for what you get compared to other equivalent HTPC situations I've worked with I bought this case to place together an HTPC for a family members member based on the reviews here and what they wanted. It was the most tricky case I've worked with to date. The leading comes off effortless with only two thumbscrews in the way but inside awaits tiny small screws that need to be undone to eliminate something. Inside, facing the front, the mobo sits to the right of the PSU meaning the CPU power has to be routed across the mobo. The HDD cage also sits appropriate on leading of the main energy so the wires are pushing against it underneath. Forget cable management unless you go with a modular PSU there is no space except to jam it all underneath the ODD. It's a tiny case so no true blame there just truth of the matter. All round, the case looks kind of plain with no frills which is good. Nonetheless, while it's very good quality, I won't say it's fantastic enough to justify the 2x cost over other HTPC cases I've worked with. It's just sort of meh. I would not obtain once more.
