Linksys WRT320N - 4-Port Wireless-N Broadband Router
Cons:Internal Antennas

Pros:DD-WRT compatible, Fast, N compatible, Gigabit Switch
Comment:
With Wireless G, at double the standard power, I still had problems connecting my iPod throughout the house. Now at standard power, I maintain a connection faster than my iPod can process it.This router also functions as my downstairs switch, making my full house network Gigabit speed.

Much faster than old B router, works fine with both n and g computers. Router is in basement, computers are upstairs, no issues. Easy setup.

This router did not perform

I bought this N router to replace my G router. The signal was weaker and inconsistant. Even the wired ports were slower. Returned and got another brand.

You guys come through again. Great prices and very good service. Although delivery was a problem. The router after finally figuring out network set up is running well on home network with five computers on it.

Strong signal, fast downloads. Installation is a snap. I'm very pleased with this router. Excellent range and signal strength. The router in on the ground floor and the wireless computer on the second floor. Works great. Used on XP operating systems. Constant speed and maximum signal strength.

Have it installed now for a week and no problems between machines and the "Net". Still unable to get it to recognize a wireless HP printer but problem may be with printer. Overall very satisfied with the 953mbps on my main machine. Installation was easy and quick. Replaced an older WRT54GS. LELA software nice.

Outstanding product - great price
Comment:
I purchased this router to replace an old linksys 10/100 ethernet wired router. This router is frequency selectable and allowed me the frredom to seperate wired products on a gigabit domain, for another floor I assigned a 5 Ghz. wireless N domain, and with the use of a wireless access point I assigned a 2.4 Ghz. wireless G domain to a third floor in my home for the kids. The wireless signal strength is awesome [maxed] on all three floors and the wired gigabit is equally solid. Setup was a realitively simple if you have ever setup one of the linksys products this was ver similar. If you are not trying to do anything out of the ordinary their setup disk and LEA software will make it a snap. The unit does run warm so be sure to mount it up off the surface of furniture with adequate room for the heat exchangers to dod their job.

Good Product, One Caviet
Comment:
If the cable or DSL modem can only handle up to 10Base100TX network, expect to lose connection to the internet if you connect directly a devise that can handle Gigabit network. This router does not limit itself to the WAN speed unfortunately. Accessing through wireless is not a problem. Workaround for wired problem is to get a network switch that is limited to 10base100TX network connection(another expense).
