Like some others have noted, I too bought this keyboard on impulse, but I don't regret it at all. I typed on about a dozen other keyboards on the shelf and when I got to this one I was simply blown away. Talk about the keyboard I've been waiting for! I saw someone call this keyboard a work of art and I could not agree more. It's simple, stylish and functional and the quality is top notch. It has weight, especially consider the small size, and it definitely performs above expectations. I love the extra depth of the stroke (vs. typical laptop style keyboards) and I especially like the low noise. I was so used to the clacking and noises of my old keyboard that I almost couldn't believe how quiet this one was. Bottom line, I would purchase this keyboard again at twice the price. I even upgraded the one at work because I was so enamored with the one I used at home.

The main reason I purchased this key board is because of the way I type and my long fingernails, I always wear the letters off of my keyboards. Because the letters, numbers and characters are all of the way through. The keyboard does happen to have some nice features that are a bonus. The quiet keying and touch of the keys when depressed are very nice as well. It was a little more than I normally spend for a keyboard. But I'm planning that this one will last a lot longer.

This keyboard is exactly what I was looking for. The backlit keys make it easy to use this keyboard especially at night. No need for a desk lamp or any other light source. The soft yet positive action on the keys makes typing a breeze. Key strokes are silent and positive. I work late into the evening putting more hours into my book manuscript than I ever did with my old keyboard.

This keyboard worked right out of the box under Linux Mint 7. No drivers needed. This keyboard is absolutely perfect. The light has three different dim-nesses. I love this keyboard.

I am a transcriptionist and have gone through at least 2 keyboards a year in the past UNTIL NOW. This is a great keyboard. The backlighting is wonderful and the key touch is light and so quiet, easy on the hands. I love the large Delete key. The volume controls are particularly useful for me. My only complaint would be that the function keys numbers are hard to see because of the yellow icons they have placed where the function numbers used to be. The yellow icons are meaningless for my work. So I am hoping that Logitech will make the same keyboard but with the function keys illuminated and no yellow icons, but just the F1, F2, etc.

Glad I indulged in this purchase, on a whim. The illumination is very useful when working late. Good quality keyboard with good features. Only negative is: maybe because I'm not much of a power user, it's been a little difficult for me to adapt to touch-typing on this keyboard because it requires placement of hands much much closer to the left edge than I've experienced with other keyboards. In consequence, many times when I start keying, my fingers are not on the correct keys in the "home" position -- most particularly, fingers on keys sdfgkl;' rather than on keys asdfjkl; Otherwise, very pleased with purchase. Definitely would purchase again.

This allows me to work at night with the lights off: The illumination feature is what initially compelled this purchase. Add to the deal it's quiet, solid, thin(only 9mm),very professional looking and so easy to use... I'll never own different keyboard. Don't balk at the price; IT'S TOTALLY WORTH IT! I use this in conjunctiontion with the Logitech MX Revolution mouse (item L23-7200). My computer rules!

This is a truly great product. It has a nice feel and a high-tech appearance. When I first set it on my desk, it was so thin it almost looked like a picture of a keyboard! It works great in low light situations and therefore is easy on my eyes. I would buy another.

The only problem I have with this keybaord is keeping everyone else off of it. It's well lit letters make it much easier for my aged eyes to see. Noo need for a desk light to see keyboard any longer. The keyboard has a great feel, eays to use. I love it, problem is so does everyone else who comes to vist.

Fantastic keyboard... I don't know how I got along without it. It almost feels like my laptop keys... very soft. As far as gaming, I play COD4 and haven't experienced any ghosting or any other problems, though I wouldn't expect any keyboard to last long with heavy gaming. The F keys are not a problem... there is a space between 4 & 5 and 8 & 9, so it is not difficult to choose the correct key. Illumination is bright enough on high. Nice key font. Could have been less costly, but I couldn't build it for what they are asking. I love it!

I've been utilizing computers since the teletype days, at home and work. I love how the keys light up for easy use day or night. Also the key action is perfect. I'd buy it again, but only need one keyboard.

Sorry, being in this business for so long, there really isn't much that impresses me anymore. I must say, however, I am very impressed with this lovely piece. Not only is it stunning to look at, it is (of course) very well built. I must have an illuminated keyboard for working 'round the clock. I have to say that every one I have had until now was a piece of trash. This is a piece of art that works beautifully. Smoothest typing I have ever experienced. Way to go Logitech. And, wow, as usual, this arrived with lightning speed! I am so grateful for well-built equipment and excellent service. THROW EVERY OTHER KEYBOAD AWAY and get this! :)

It seems like I have used about 1,000,000 keyboards in my life and I have to honestly say this is about the best ever. Extremely smooth key action and touch, the illumination is wonderful. The only downside is the F Keys have only the shortcut icons illuminated, the actual F number would be great. Although it isn't too bad once you get used to the icon - F Key association. This keyboard is definitely an 11 on a scale of 10

This is absolutely the best key board I have ever used. I work on my desktop in a low light area. The illuminated keys a really bright and easy to read. The touch is like a feather and is very smooth. The shortcuts built into the ''F Keys'' are real handy. The only down side is that you must keep it flat. Iuse it on a keyboard tray I can't rest it on the edge or it will slide off. Overall it is a joy to use

This is probably one of the best keyboards I've owned. I've used it for over a month now in games and general tasks like typing and surfing the web. The lighting is nice and you can change it depending on your lighting conditions so you can always see the keyboard if you need to. It types so smooth that you can hardly feel any resistance from the letters while typing allowing you to type quickley and evenly without worrying about stuck keys. Its also very slim and barely sits a half inch off my desk from the base to the top of the keys. Absolutley amazing

Keyboard worked fine until I tried playing a game. Couldn't move, couldn't crouch and move at the same time and keyboard would move all by itself. No anti-ghosting here. Don't buy this if you play games, or you'll be getting pwned every time.
