Logitech G502 Proteus Core Tunable Gaming Mouse Max 12000 DPI
Cons:Annoying fps button, too narrow, too small.

Pros:Great for smaller hands maybe?
Comment:
I don't know what the fuss is about this rodent. For my hands (6'5" height) this is too small, too narrow, and the fps button sticks out like a sore thumb. I could not get used to this mouse and promptly returned in. I prefer a hybrid palm, claw grip. This mouse would be OK for small hands I imagine. I now own a Rival and love it.

Logitech G502 Proteus Core Tunable Gaming Mouse Max 12000 DPI
Cons:None, yet.

Pros:Familiar feel (i.e. size and weight (after adding all of the weights)) to the Logitech MX1000 Cordless mouse that it is replacing.Worked right out of the box.Latest Logitech Gaming Software 8.58.183 was easy to find, download and install. No battery charge to worry about.I like the push button that allows for smooth scrolling or click scrolling.
Comment:
I've owned several different Logitech mouse models in the past. They seem to fit my hand much better than any of the other brands I've tried.I like its familiar feel and response.

Logitech G502 Proteus Core Tunable Gaming Mouse Max 12000 DPI
Cons:Poor softwareScratches your cloth mouse pad due to small rubber feets

Pros:Nice mouse and feels nice
Comment:
When it was working it was great, but in less than 6 months the software that supported this mouse suddenly stops working and no solution Logitech's forum have any solution for this problem (not the only one with this problem). Mouse still works as a mouse, but no customization means you are just paying for an overpriced mouse.

Logitech G502 Proteus Core Tunable Gaming Mouse Max 12000 DPI
Cons:Somewhat heavy without weightsNo RGB colour customization

Pros:Excellent SoftwareGreat SensorPerfect ErgonomicsAdditional Weights
Comment:
This mouse is absolutely fantastic. It feels great in hand, and the sensor doesn't have acceleration. However, one thing that was wrong were the weights. While I don't use them, if you do, the bottom panel housing the weights seems to jut out a bit. Causing it to touch the surface you are using, making it glide less. It's a minor issue, however I would take it into consideration if you plan on using them.

Cons:Too many buttons for my taste, but i'm no hardcore gamer. But that's not really a big gripe tbh.

Pros:Pin point accuracy, good grip and a lot of functions.

Cons:A bit heavy for a wired mouse, even without any weights installed.

Pros:Very comfortable grip for small handsNice placement of buttonsSmooth gliding on a mouse padHas been very accurate so far
Comment:
I've previously used a G700, and G500s. So far I like this mouse the best. Hopefully it will be durable unlike the G700, where the left button started becoming flaky. Was a bit surprised at the weight, seems a bit heavier than the G500s.

After doing some heavy reading about this mouse I finally decided to pull the trigger. I can honestly say that this was one of my best purchases of 2014. The tracking and consistency of this mouse is simply amazing. I've used many different mice in the past and this one is by far the best. Got this mouse on sale for about $65 and it was definitely worth it. Logitech has a winner with this one.

Logitech G502 Proteus Core Tunable Gaming Mouse Max 12000 DPI
Cons:Clunky scroll wheel.

Pros:Lots of features and ability to customize to suit your DPI, weight, surface preferences along with some button customization.
Comment:
I bought this on sale along with a gift card I received so it was a great deal. This mouse replaced my CM Storm Sentinel Advance II which was beginning to show signs of wear and tear. I already have 2 other Logitech Gaming peripherals including G110 keyboard and G13 Gameboard so this is a nice edition that allows a lot of customization for gaming as well as other applications. Logitech G502 Proteus Core Tunable Gaming Mouse Max 12000 DPI
Cons:-A little bit pricey.

Pros:-Great mouse-Easy to configure-Ergonomic-Works well on the black top of my desk
Comment:
This is a very good product. On sale, it is worth the price and allows for great precision. I like the quick dpi switch button that allows a custom DPI setting to be selected for as long as it is selected. This makes it possible to reduce the mouse sensitivity anytime it is required and restore it by releasing the button. Overall a very good product and would recommend.

Logitech G502 Proteus Core Tunable Gaming Mouse Max 12000 DPI
Cons:-LED light has no colour choice. only blue-the forward & back buttons can get dirty after long usage and are not easy to clean the bottom edge of the buttons.

Pros:-control is smooth-just enough buttons (won't get overwhelmed like razer naga butons)-sturdy & firm-can customize the mouse weight-software is easy to use and supports osx too.
Comment:
I had a razer imperator mouse. It was a great mouse until it had the double click issue. G502 is in the same price range compare to imperator. If put into comparison the G502 is a much higher quality built with more customizable features due to more buttons. If you are a casual gamer looking for a good mouse for any types of games, the G502 shouldn't fail your expectation.

Pros:Upgraded firmware permits dimming LED light (still blue)Good overall feel
Comment:
Logitech posts (links) the wrong software on their not so userfriendly website. Work around is to find other gaming mouse that uses the same software and download and install that instead.Mouse is thinner in width than most mice (check specifications before purchase) Not ideal for large hands.Good overall feel and good build quality

Logitech G502 Proteus Core Tunable Gaming Mouse Max 12000 DPI
Cons:-Not enough space to rest pinky and ring finger comfortably but it not a major issue.

Pros:-Great Shape and feel in the hand-Adjustable weights-Great tracking(using a QcK+)-Cable is braided-Well placed buttons-Great scroll wheel
Comment:
The mouse has a great feel in the hand and is easy to grip. The sensor is great and I never see or feel any lag or mis-tracking. Has a lot of resistance if you use it on a desk so I would suggest getting a mouse pad. Overall a great mouse with a decent amount of buttons and great comfort.

This is mouse is a replacement for my deathadder and right away i noticed the quality on this mouse > any razer product. Just go try both and you will see RAZER= cheap plastic, LOGITECH= High quality 10/10. The mouse feet works fine. but you can get replacements off EBAY for like 5 dollars. I got this mouse right off logitech's web site

Logitech G502 Proteus Core Tunable Gaming Mouse Max 12000 DPI
Cons:Small mouse.

Pros:Great Tracking. Very smooth.
Comment:
Pros.First I love the tracking on this mouse. it's very smooth and with larger/dual monitors it doesn't take much movement to get to one side to the other. The thumb rest is really nice so it doesn't drag on your track pad.... perhaps the pinky and ring finger could use a wing on that side too? But maybe not.Cons.I don't have too much to say about this mouse. But I would not consider this a upgrade/replacement over the G500. The G502 mouse is small for people who are use to G500 or have larger hands and prefer bigger mice. I would look towards the G700... unless a true G500 replacement comes along.Final thoughts.Over all I think this is a decent mouse for people with smaller hands. Great for FPS.I hope to see a continued/update  version of the G500 with same size and button placements...maybe with (1-2) more buttons on the side.

It works and fits nicely in my hand. What I don't really like is that it feels heavy compared to my old mouse. The mouse's scroll wheel is hard to use when your hands are dry.

Logitech G502 Proteus Core Tunable Gaming Mouse Max 12000 DPI
Cons:I wouldn't recommended for a small hand. mid-large size is great.

Pros:The G502 is a beautiful mouse that performs like a champ. The G502 is by far the best mouse I have ever owned. Perfect for "claw grip" gamer like me. Many buttons to config.
Comment:
Custom weight: it a great and my favorite feature you can make personalize for your hand strength, it really good to avoid wrist problem. Personally, I don't use weights, I prefer a good light mouse, and this one is.As IT i recommend 100%, well made mouse, all the possible need you probably have on mouse are cover up to 11 custom buttons for whatever the needs, without forgetting unlimited profiles. It's a well made mouse by Logitech !

Logitech G502 Proteus Core Tunable Gaming Mouse Max 12000 DPI
Cons:Wife can't reach all buttons with small hand.Mouse wheel is metal and slipperyMouse wheel is not balanced and rolls by itself

Pros:High resolution, very responsive, Grip for medium size hands. Lots of buttons
Comment:
I loved this mouse at first. Then I found a couple of flaws, one of them huge with the mouse wheel.First, the wheel is metal so it's slippery. On bumpy mode, your finger can slip slightly when trying to roll it because it's quite stiff in this mode.Second, and worst of all, the wheel is heavy and off balance. I don't know if this is a flaw with my mouse or all G502's, but it's absolutely horrible. If you put the wheel in smooth mode, it's completely unusable. Roll the wheel a bit, take your finger off and it will start scrolling up and down 2-3 times by itself like a pendulum. IMO if one mouse wheel mode is annoying, and the other completely unusable, you have a failure of a mouse wheel and thus, the mouse.I absolutely love the G9 mouse and was looking forward to this as a replacement, only to find huge disappointment in the wheel. Everything else is perfect. That wheel is just total garbage.
