Logitech G930 Circumaural Wireless Gaming Headset
Cons:Mic muting

Pros:Sound quality / blocking of external noise
Comment:
Picked these up on sale. Very impressed at how they blocked external noise. Sound quality is surprisingly good. Only dislike that that the mic should mute when positioned "up"; however, I find this is hit and miss. Very minor issue though.

Large wireless range !ten hours useHigher quality soundComfy Long charging timeMicrophone noise. Hello all !!I purchased this headset being aware of it could have a microphone noise difficulty. I got it final Thursday (we are Saturday). I started browsing for a noise removing software and found Solicall. Unfortunately, it seems to have an challenge with the sound coming from the G930.This morning I had clear thoughts, I suspected that the noise was coming from the wireless signal. It was accurate !!TO ALL: ACTIVATE THE Neighborhood FEEDBACK TO MAXIMUM LEVEL AND Place YOUR HAND About THE MICROPHONE BOOM, THE NOISE DISAPPEAR !!I'm presently attempting to place aluminum foil about the boom to resolve this dilemma forever.

ComfortableCrisp, Clear Sounds in-gameBattery LifeEasy charging stationFunny soundboards (comes with the preloaded software)Wireless!!Virtual Surround SoundSuper Adjustable MicUSB Connectivity Right after about five-6 hours of continuous gaming, it may possibly get uncomfortable. But you possibly shouldn't be playing that a lot anyway. Not "True 7.1 Surround Sound" I upgraded to the G930 from a different random USB Mic and man oh man what an improvement. Sounds are crisp and clear, every person can hear me nicely on Ventrilo and in-game VoIP. FPS games are superb with the virtual surround and add an aspect to games you could have never experienced prior to devoid of a surround sound setup. The sound is OK with music but thats in all probability not why you're considering this anyway.

Logitech G930 Circumaural Wireless Gaming Headset
Cons:- battery life amounts to about 10 hours- battery replacement possibly problematic- cushion quality not as good as G35

Pros:- freedom in movements- not too heavy- sound quality very similar to G35
Comment:
I have two colleagues that bought the G930 and they love them. We are all in the software business, working from home, and doing a lot of conference calls through Skype, Webex, and such. Already being an owner of the Logitech G35, the feature that attracted me was the wireless part as it gave me freedom of movement to fetch a glass of water during a long conference call for instance. So I went and bought these. To my surprise, the G930 felt a little bit lighter than the G35, but it might just be bit because they don't hold as tight on my head. The G930 feels a bit loose on my head compared to the G35. This is a little bit of an unpleasant feeling as I am sometimes afraid they'll fall off my head. The sound quality was quite equivalent to the G35 though the sound felt a little bit faint, but it may just be attributed to the settings I chose and maybe also related to the fact that I am currently using Microsoft's built-in drivers instead of Logitech's own. The G930 mic does not feel as solid and as rugged as the G35's though functionally speaking, it's just as good. Not having read the specs before buying, I was a little bit disappointed that the battery was gone after roughly 8 hours of use. This came as a surprise because the Sennhauser that I use for watching TV can last more than two weeks with an average use of 2 to 3 hours per day. So when the G930 went dead after one day of use, I was a little bit disappointed. The cushion that envelop the ears feels cheaper on the G930 than on the G35. They feel cheaper because I don't recall feeling sweat building up between my skin and the cushion with the G35, but I did with the G930. I think this last point might be the most important difference between the two headsets.I have not opened my G930 to see which kind of battery is in there (they're brand new so I don't dare breaking them!). However, one would assume that one day, the battery will wear out and replacing it will probably be a costly move. As such, it seems to me that a wiser move would have been the use of standard AAA batteries for instance, but then again, others would have probably considered this as a negative. So all in all, I think these are worthy headsets, especially if you want to walk around. However, if you are a serious gamer and your use of the headsets will be primarily while you are sitting, I would without hesitation recommend the G35 over the G930. I hesitated between 3 stars and 4 stars but because 4 is labeled as "Very good-Would purchase again" and 3 is labeled as "Satisfactory", I have to go with 3 stars because I suspect that I will very infrequently use my G930 (probably only for those lengthy conference calls) and instead use my more comfortable & reliable G35.

By far..I was quite skeptical buying a 贝+ headset...effectively, it was the suitable choice since the comfort of this headset, modularity, and crisp sound makes it worth every single penny. You cannot ask or discover a better headset in this price tag. ears sweating right after 2-3 hours of game play. Not actually a con though. Ideal general headset I have applied. (owned 6 diverse pairs from Razer, Logitech, Plantronics, Sony, Sennheiser)

Performs. Sound is good. Wireless performs well in range. For the keep has some rather cheapest material, like chins buttons. Not overly comfy. Mic doesn't pick up any bass, for a quite nuetered quality. Software program is awful and downright childish with goblin and robot pictures, essential customization awkward and restricted. Wireless range about ten to 20 feet also short for my wants, can't make coffee and remain connected to a get in touch with. Logitech telephone help was useless. This is 3rd shoddy practical experience with Logitech at high price tag points, beware. Not worth it anywhere near this price point. Lack of base pickup on Mic with useless software program and assistance sealed it's return.

Excellent sound in the speakers. Noise cancellation does not work. Specifically on windows 7 64 bit.It appears to be driver connected as the voice morphing software program in fact causes noise cancellation. If you hold your push to speak and say nothing at all you will get a constant buzzing sound going out to any users listening. If you turn voice morphing on and do the exact same thing, it's clear as day. Don't acquire this. Waste of funds unless you want a excellent set of wireless headphones. The microphone drivers are terrible, acquire a ุ noise cancelling headset and you'll be greater off. The buzzing drives other folks nuts and I now get muted from vent all the time. I purchased a stand alone mic and permanently muted the headset.

Logitech G930 Circumaural Wireless Gaming Headset
Cons:Possible Wiring issues

Pros:Sound quality good
Comment:
When I purchased these headphones, I was really satisfied with the product that I have received. After a month I was having issues with the drivers in which my headphones would mute certain programs or play at half volume for all programs (This as since been fixed). Now the only problem I have now is that the microphone sometimes doesn't mute when folded upward or the mic mutes when moved a 1/4in away, downward, upward etc.. from my mouth. When I moved from the folded up position (supposed mute) to the downward position (below the chin), the headphones will mute 4 or 5 times.... Could be a wiring issue I don't know. But like I said, everything else is just fine

The range is fantastic. I can walk about my whole property and only 1 spot gets poor reception. Sound excellent isn't bad at all. Quite good feature with the programmable G-keys. I play windows media when i do property chores, and can pause or skip to the subsequent song. They ain't the prettiest points in the world. I'd enjoy to wear them outdoors to listen to music and do yard perform..but they are just as well embarrassing. The low battery notification doesn't usually notify you when playing games... They just die. Gotta plug them to finish playing, it's a minor annoyance. But the battery life all round is outstanding. Maybe it's just me, but i can't get the headphones to work at the same time as my speakers. From time to time i want my wife to hear a thing, or don't feel like wearing headphones, but the only solution i have located so far is to go adjust windows settings to change the output. Great headphones. I'd by no means do wireless commonly, but my cat generally chews the cable in half. But this pair is excellent.

Logitech G930 Circumaural Wireless Gaming Headset
Cons:- Plastic feeling build but solid- Macro buttons are mostly useless- Price- Sizing adjustments feel loose or too tight as there's always some 'give'.- Virtual surround sound

Pros:- Wireless- Good battery life (around 6-10 hours depending on usage/range/etc. but closer to 10 hours when used near the transmitter)- Virtual surround sound- Comfortable- Good range (roughly 50 feet even going through walls and plowing through a large number of wireless signals on the 2.4Ghz band)
Comment:
This is a great wireless headset for the price. Sound quality could be improved (compared to a good pair of Sennheiser cans). Microphone quality is good. For a wireless headset, there's not really much comparison. This is among the top-tier. The price is what really makes this hard to recommend off sale.In terms of functionality, it's comfortable, the audio quality is decent, and it does what it needs to do. As with most headsets, it only goes as far as virtual surround sound though. It's still better than none and there's a toggle to enable or disable it but it's not ideal either. There are also three G-keys (macro keys), a microphone mute button, and a volume scroller. I find the G-keys to mostly useless. You can't really script anything to those and they're placed on the left ear so you have to lift your hand off the keyboard to push which would be annoying if you're using it in-game. The microphone mute and volume scroll are a boon though but it's very easy to accidentally bump the volume scroll. That's one of the other issues I have with this, the build is very loose. Even for the sizing adjustments, there's always a little bit of 'give'. It doesn't stay exactly at the size you want. So either you compensate by making it tighter than usual or you set it to the closest comfortable size and it may feel a bit loose at times depending on how your head moves. That being said, this is a great wireless headset but if you don't need wireless... there are better wired Sennheiser headsets for the price.Recommended for people who want wireless, not recommended otherwise.3/5 since it does what it needs to well but I probably wouldn't purchase again unless they improve on it.Unless you truly need or want wireless, I'd say, hold off on this purchase until a big sale.

Awesome sound, very good directionality in 5.1 and 7.1 games. The headset is pretty comfy, despite the fact that I've worn much more comfortable headsets, and does a good job of blocking out ambient noise. The volume control on the side of the headset is super beneficial, and the G buttons are helpful. The bass can actually suck. There are a handful of events, generally explosions, in the games I play that this headset just butchers. It sounds horrible on that specific spots; e.g. in L4D2, No Mercy, when there is the big explosion prior to getting on the lift. Not perfect, but there is no other headset that I know of that I'd rather have in this value variety.

Lighter than the G35'sWirelessComfortable Noise Cancelling does not function. Will not operate on my win7 64bit rig.As quickly as I installed the drivers that came with the set, various audio and video formats began skipping in WMP and any games I attempted to run have been unplayable due to extreme performance troubles. I run a i975 intense with 12 gigs of DR3, OCD Vertex II's in raid and GTX580's. Every little thing was flawless prior to attempting to use this headset's drivers. I had to uninstall to get everything to operate again. I attempted to use the new drivers and it was just as bad, only this time an uninstall did not repair the concern, I had to do a complete method restore. I went back in and wiped anything I could come across that would lead to issues and attempted each sets of drivers once more, nonetheless with no luck. I sold them to a friend who is going to run them without having the computer software. I actually like the Logitech merchandise but this was a massive disappointment. I will say I have 3 other good friends who use these on their systems devoid of challenge, even though the ones with the 64 bit rigs have never attempted to use the application that came with them.

The general value and high quality of this solution is just, completely amazing. The sound this point outputs is pure candy to the ears. I have had dozens and dozens of gaming headsets and this 1 for positive takes the cake. And it getting wireless just adds even much more to the plus. But the sound excellent is fantastic. Comes with a good dock as effectively. none so far I am used to often receiving up around my room with headsets still on my head and I have gotten utilized to being aware of the length of its wire, I did that with these headsets and as I got closer towards the other side of the room, I tilted my headback while moving arms full length forward attempting to reach something, before I realized that I forgot I had wireless headsets, lol. Being to stroll about and listen to music is just amazing. Immediately after going wireless, I in all probability can't go back.

Sound top quality is fantastic. Despite the fact that the 7.1 surround is only simulated it nevertheless is rather useful in games like COD4 via COD Black Ops, Crisis, BFBC2 and a handful of other FPS games for hearing where a shot came from and for hearing an individual trying to sneak up behind you. Also the variety for these is estimated arround 40 feet (can't recall for positive but that seems proper). Still I've gone as far as 65 feet away and have had it still function appropriately although numerous walls and even if I go outside. The only reason I took an egg off for this item was that the microphone (which has amazing high quality sound) had it's outer casing break from standard use about the two month marker. Given that I'm lazy I haven't implemented the extended warranty I got to send it back yet but I discovered a little ducttape/electrical tape tends to reconnect it to the moving arm just fine. Most games only help five.1 surround if any at all. Nevertheless, the headset of course works just fine in these games and is definitely amazing for the handful of games out there that do assistance 7.1.Earlier I accidentally submitted a overview for the Logitech C510 HD WebCam below this solution. SORRY! Please ignore it!

The sound out of this headset is unbelievable to me. I contemplate myself to be a bit of an audiophile and was hesitant to acquire a wireless headset for my gaming/movies/music. Entirely shocked at how good this thing functions. The mic is also exceptional. The five.1 and 7.1 settings are wonderful and don't leave you with a hollow feeling. I'd really recommend this to any individual searching for a good quality headset.Excellent sound in the apartment while maintaining it quiet for everyone else. It initially worked fantastic. Then I began to have a couple of setup issues. I was getting some type of config error. Great good quality sound in this headset, I also really feel contrary to a lot of peoples opinion the construct top quality is above common.Overall the hardware components of this headset are impressive, sound is fantastic, mic performs effectively for me and the range of the wireless reaches via my whole home. Horrible software. On my windows 7 64bit OS it cannot keep open for a lot more then 60 seconds ahead of it locks up. The battery meter does not perform at all. The surround sound indicator does not work at all.The key binding does not perform because the software package wont run without having crashingThe technique for assigning the G keys is all around poor even if it workedBattery life being ten hours is questionable, far more testing will prove actual life but my estimates put it at 6-7 hours The hardware itself is best notch, good sound excellent and and range. For how significantly you are paying for this "top of the line" set you would count on the software to at least run.Bottom line: if its worth the 160 dollars for the wireless capability and a very good good quality headset you will be happy. If you want or require the crucial binding, sound morphing, or ANY of the software package features. Wait until Logitech fixes it or don't purchase

Volume control on the set is convenient as well as the mute button. Still haven't configured or used the 3 other configurable buttons. Cons:It's a "no" on the PS3 also I am afraid. The PS3 does not support USB audio out, and the audio in is looking for a specific VID_PID.

Pros:The wireless range and battery life really seem to be just as good as advertised, which was a very nice surprise.

Super comfortable. I have a fairly large head, and yes, the headset does squeeze a little tighter than what you might be used to, but that's because the headband is made of metal and not cheap plastic. It's the squeeze of quality, learn to love it. It's not a bad thing at all, you just might not be used to it. After a few days of breaking it in, I doubt I'll even notice.
