Works excellent with my XP laptop I just got off the telephone with Logitech customer assistance. They just told me "there is a driver problem with some windows 7 64bit computers, it is windows fault so we will not refund or exchange you headset". So pretty a lot they just told me, "you know how we mentioned it would operate with windows 7? Effectively it doesn't. We failed to test our item correctly so now you are stuck holding the bag. Don't blame us blame windows". Now I have to pay newegg ฮ to RMA this item. From what I can inform, about 50% of the buyer on-line with Windows 7 64bit get theirs working fine, or at least say they do. Overall wireless and surround sound works pretty great and there's no connectivity issue even though I have lots of wireless stuffs near by(phone mouse etc). haven't tested mic. The memory foam padding is comfortable enough (think firm leather couch softness). The volume control requires several scrolls to turn the volume up or down significantly but one could also argue that it allows fine-tuned control. The power button is small so it's not easy to hold it down for the 3~5 seconds it needs to power off the headset but it's not a big issue either. It feels like my old 200 watts logitech 2.1 speakers has slightly clearer sound, but it could be that I haven't bother to properly adjust setting in my sound card. The headband seems a little bit flimsier than I would have liked for a expensive headset but I don't see myself breaking it anytime soon. Also, if you didn't know, the battery is replaceable but it's not standard AA/AAA batteries and requires taking off like 5 screws. logitech sells replacement battery kit for like 5 bucks though.Annoying part:The Logitech gaming software that you need to install to enable all features of this headset requires you to manually set the program to run as administrator or it will throw exception and terminates.(It's been ages since UAC is introduced in Vista and they still haven't fix this) Also the recharge time estimate was kinda wonky. It said in the software that it needed 3 hours for full charge. I left it charging for a full work day, come back home, and the headset still has orange led light indicates it's still charging. The software still says 3 hours to full charge, until I disconnect and reconnect the headphone (at which point it says full charge). Why doesn't it automatically shows that it's fully charged like my performance MX mouse I have no idea.Of course these are all minor complaints. Functionally speaking it's pretty good product overall. At the original $180 price point I would hesitate to buy this, but I got it on sale so it's not bad.

Exceptional use of 7.1 on such a comfy headset. Computer software and driver support is each and every bit as excellent as we've come to anticipate from Logitech. The three G-keys add a nice bit of functionality to what would otherwise just be a headset. Mic comes in loud and clear according to my Mumble buddies. I'm experiencing intermittent connection drops between the headset and the USB transceiver that sits 12 inches away. The drops only last a few seconds, but they kill my sidetone and I have to readjust my sidetone to "wake it back up." Drops don't appear to comply with any timing pattern. Roughly 30min - 1 hr. I plan on hitting up tech support about this. All the controls are on the left side, leaving the proper side bare and boring. Could we have not place a couple additional G-keys more than there? Genuinely?

Circumaural -- which means they fit absolutely around your yearsDirectional sound -- for gaming purposes this is good mainly because you can decide directions of sound.Sound Cancelling -- my family members maintain startling me, mainly because I can't hear them come in my room when I'm wearing these.Wireless -- The headphones have an internal battery that you can recharge with your laptop or computer via USB. Other than that you have freedom of motion! I am in a position to get about 100 feet away from the broadcast device ahead of the sound cuts out. The headphones will shut themselves down when in wireless mode soon after receiving no input for an hour or so. Powering off the unit with the power switch is occasionally tricky, have to hold the button for a few moments, then the power light blinks and then they shut off. none.

exceptional headphones, these headphones prime my turtle beach x3's hands down. great for gaming. extended battery life. havent skilled any troubles superb headphones for gaming, good for music but not the best.

I got about 2 weeks ago on a special price of 139.99. It may seems a little pricy, but I think it is definitely worth the money.The software comes with functions that can morph your voice.These are fun but honestly quite useless.The hardware is what I like about the headset.First, it is wireless and got pretty a good range.Second, the mic is clear and it can isolate background noises.Also the bass is pretty strong for a headset.It is pretty good on noise-cancelling as well.I can use this headset for more than just gaming.With the special price, I would say it is worth the money.

Bought these primarily to replace my Corsair HS1's after the second set developed the same problem as the first, cable breaking at the earpiece. I really miss the Audio quality of the HS1's already, the G930 is certainly not up to par with it. However, I have been wanting the convenience of Wireless for quite some time now, so I'll adjust.Can't really be excited by these on the whole, but they'll suffice.

Ridculously fantastic sound. I have been wanting to buy these for rather sometime and I have gone against it because it appears like a luxury obtain. I do not regret it at all. I did not count on the sound excellent of these to be this high. Also I am employing onboard 7.1 sound so I can't even envision how good these must sound on a standalone sound card. Also it picks up the headset on its on in just about every application. If you are like me and use another set you can switch between the two quickly. They sit really tight against your ears, face, and head. BUT i also have a very wide big head. They completly take you away from everything else about you. May well be a + for some people.

Well just read the other reviews. Over all quite content with them. Only a single con that i believed need to be mentioned that other persons didn't. It at times interferes with my Wi-Fi causing the Wi-Fi to lock up. Also some crackling if i'm close to the microwave when its on. To be expected although with something operating at 2.4 ghz

Really comfy headset, good capabilities and its wireless. Logtech name is recognized for excellent. Is there a fix in the functions for the continual disconnection and reconnection? I can't game for 30. I have to use my Fatalty headset when gaming. This would be the greatest headset about if it wasnt for the continual disconnection and reconnection? I can't game for 15 mins without this happenning.

I can safely say this is the ideal wireless headset I've ever employed - and I've had quite a few. It has 8+ hours of battery life, works 10 feet additional than most others at about 40ft of operating range, and comes equipped with the most comfy ear cups I have knowledgeable so far. Could nevertheless be a small more comfortable on my giant head. No button on the headset to answer Skype calls.

I used Logitech products for years, and I have to say these are by far the best wireless headset that i've used. It feels great even after using it for 8 hours or so, i love being able to stand up and walk around, get a drink or a snack and not miss either my music or a voice chat i'm having. The battery life is great and they sounds fantastic, IMO the sounds it perfect, the lows,mids,highs, and the base are on par, if not better then other solutions at this price range. I could not recommend these enough, then i could say that for most Logitech products.
