Incredibly good hunting, excellent really feel. Looks fairly on my desk. Fantastic reminder to in no way go with Bluetooth devices once more, if this is the result. I purchased it for use with a brand new Acer mini notebook and I can not get it to operate, except occassionally. Extremely frustrating. Apparently, there is some magic I haven't discovered with Bluetooth. It appears as though the computer can not locate the mouse, except on the fifth Tuesday of the month, or whatever. The mouse blinks at the laptop while the computer scans, but the seldom connect. So I just go back to a wireless USB and go on. My encounter with Logitech has been exemplary until I bought this device. I own a half dozen computer systems, all with Logitech mice that perform very well. Also bad this one doesn't follow the family traits.

* Feels strong in the hand. * Tracks very nicely--significantly much better than other individuals I have used. * Left and suitable button clicks really feel clear. * Scroll wheel action and left/right push-click action really feel strong. * Pairs effortlessly with a low-finish 1st-gen MacBook. * Neat-o color! * Even though it feels solid in the hand, and I don't have enormous hands, I do really feel that it is a small quick and a small high. In the end I uncover my hand floating above the mouse (holding it between thumb and ring+little-fingers) more than resting on it. Nevertheless, I have felt no strain from this action so far (and I'm making use of it all day) and wonder if it is actually a much better mousing position than heavily resting on the mouse. * Some folks have reported that it takes a moment to 'get started' when left alone for a when. This is appropriate, even though given that in that moment I am constantly swirling my mouse around attempting to come across the cursor, it tends to make no practical difference to my mouse use. * At initially I discovered myself operating the Mac Bluetooth setup program practically each and every time I turned on the pc or returned it from sleep. On the other hand, I come across now that if I turn on the mouse before I turn on the personal computer, it seems to be picked up suitable away.

No wires/no receivers. This mouse looks relatively decentSeems like the battery life is fantastic Plastic feels kinda cheapAwkward sizing i think I don't know if its due to the fact that I'm employed to the normal Microsoft optical mouse, but I feel like this mouse is skippy and jittery compared to some other mouses i've utilised. A 10 dollar mouse feels a lot smoother to me than this factor. No FPS games for sure.

I truly like how small this mouse is (I have smaller hands) but i retain it with my 13" Dell XPS and that is all i use i turn my pc on turn this mouse on and by the time my computer is on then it connects automatically i don't have to do something as long as it is turned on. The battery i have noticed final about 1 - two months if you use your laptop all day daily I want it came in black and it was a tiny cheaper also i want there exactly where some side buttons for additional characteristics When i purchased this mouse then i installed the drivers on my computer operating windows 7 and it kept disconnecting soon after about 30 - 40 seconds of me not making use of it. It was genuinely frustrating so i decided i was going to ship it back but i went and Did some problems shooting the first factor i did was uninstall the logitech drivers and reinstall them and it nonetheless did it. So i decided to attempt it without having the drivers and windows connected it with out the logitech drivers and it has worked fine ever due to the fact. My suggestion to these who it keeps discontenting First upgrade to Windows 7 and uninstall the drivers and use the ones that windows supplies it operates just fine following you do that.

No issue connecting to my laptop and my other netbook. I purchased two two of these mice, each died immediately after about 24 hours soon after installing the batteries. The double click function is sticky, maybe simply because of oversized batteries as some reports?

-Fairly-Functions fine and excellent bluetooth connection-Indistructible-Fantastic battery life -Often the connection fails, but almost certainly depends a lot more on your compputer receiver-Gets "dirty" (if you use on a non perfectly clean desk and your hands sweat more or less... but it is really uncomplicated to clean) Exceptional! Very reccomende! Bought one particular practically two years ago and I enjoyed a lot... Performs good, even in gaming with "occasional" mouse usage is not annoying (it switches to stand-by soon after a although, but normally you constantly finish up to use it before it gets "asleep"). It requires 1-two months to run out normal non rechargeable batteries. My one felt twice or much more from considerable height nut there is not even a scratch on the blue surface...If you are interest in long lasting effects know that after a year and a half is not so shiny, but nevertheless look good. You will not be deluded!

Had this mouse for more than 6 months (time of posting). Nonetheless on the exact same batteries. I use it each night and have fallen asleep at the wheel numerous occasions with the mouse nevertheless on. Nonetheless get a blue light and wondering if the batteries will ever go dead. Who wants rechargeable when it lasts this long. Took some perform to sinc the very first time and I consider the pin is 0000 but right after that have Never had a issue. I have a Dell Inspiron 6400. The mouse sinc's w/in 5 sec and keeps the connection as far back as I can see the laptop. I have no true gripes right after I learned how to get by means of the first pairing. This is a laptop mouse and is slightly smaller sized than normal.

Great battery life. I use this mouse at least a few hours each and every day, sometime 6+ hours, and I have not had to replace the batteries however. This mouse is the best size as well. Not unusably tiny, even though nonetheless really simple to maintain in my backpack. For some purpose the middle mouse button doesn't respond as a separate button when clicked. This isn't that big of an concern unless I'm trying to play crysis or making use of XSI Softimage, each of which actually rely on that middle mouse button. All round I'm delighted with this mouse, I wouldn't have purchased it if I knew the middle mouse button didn't operate though.

Nice design for a paperweight. Completely useless. Pointer jumps about all more than the place, even moves in opposite direction of mouse movement. I tried it many surface sorts with no improvement. Updated the driver, no improvement. Lastly gave up in disgust andbought the Lenovo bluetooth mouse. This was the third Logitech bluetooth mouse for me. The two earlier seriesworked perfectly. I'm not confident what is wrong with the V470.

No USB dongle to lose or break. Excellent Bluetooth implementation if you've got the ideal host hardware, software program, and antenna orientation. Bluetooth is tricky to implement well due to the fact of interference with other 2.4 GHz protocols. It is also incredibly sensitive to antenna orientation, metal, water (i.e. your body), your microwave, and so on. Unless you have an external USB dongle which implements each Bluetooth and WaveLAN with a very good antenna, I think about an external USB dongle wouldn't function effectively. For example, when I close the lid on my laptop my range is reduced by 80%. Employing the mouse on my leg can reduce the range by up to 50%. Unless you're using an integrated chipset which muxes the two protocols your Bluetooth devices are most likely to be stepped on for the duration of WaveLAN activity. I virtually sent this mouse back, until I discovered how important it was to maintain the lid on my laptop open. I have a Dell XPS M1530 with integrated Bluetooth and it operates good as extended as the lid is open. I use the built-in Vista driver. I get about three m range. With the lid closed the range is about 1 m unless I place on my leg in which case it is practically unusable even at .5 m.No feedback but on battery life, but the mouse is slightly heavier and larger than the V220 27 MHz USB dongle a single AA mouse that I compared it against. With the lid to my laptop open, its behavior is comparable and rather acceptable for general use.

Decent travel mouse and bluetooth. Performs great. Tracks properly. No complications with gaming other than adjusting myself for the smaller mouse compared to my desktop mice. Even works working with the couch cushions as a pad. Don't like it as a lot as my old G7 or my G700 on my desktop but hey it was bought for the laptop. Haven't discovered a solid surface this mouse "won't" track on but. If your pointer jumps around wildly check the surface you're working with it on and make confident no foreign components are interfering with the reader. Rechargeable batteries put out much less power output than non-rechargeable. May possibly account for several customers loose of connectivity, but that's simple tech expertise out there for some of the whiners.....

great size (on the modest side); works proper off the bat with Linux (Ubuntu 8.x, 9.x, 10.x), have a single for my HTPC that functions 10' away, a different at a workstation. a bit pricey; as other people have pointed out, batteries can interfere with R / L buttons, BUT** ** considering that i began holding both buttons down fully whilst inserting new batteries, both correct and left mouse buttons click generally every time.

-Looks nice-If your laptop has internal bluetooth it doesn't need a reciever.-Has decent hand feel for a notebook mouse -Tracking hovers between barely adequate and absolutely horrendous-Slow wake-up time. I consider the mouse does the greatest it can with a technologies I can't stand for input devices. I'm a major fan of bluetooth as a wireless phone syncing technologies, but not so significantly for pc input devices. I've now owned three bluetooth mice and two bluetooth keyboards. All of them have had problems of their personal. The only one particular I nonetheless use is a Dinovo Mini for my house theater Pc - where reliability is not fairly as significantly of a premium.I can't say I reccomend this mouse when there are much better RF selections out there. You have the tradeoff of having to have a receiver connected, but the tracking and reliability will be light years ahead.

Bluetooth response time is lighting rapid.Battery life is amazing! Lasts me over a month. Its a laser mouse...Wonderful MOUSE>Thanks again Logitech. Modest, but that is to be expected for a notebook mouse. It shuts itself off immediately after about 10 seconds of being idle, this conserves battery life. Just move it and it becomes active again, this is absolutely NOT a flaw. Wonderful MOUSE!

Bluetooth connection eliminates the clogging of a USB port.I paid much less for this one. None so far. This is my second a single of these mice (the 1st a single is the white one N82E16826104233). I have had no challenges with the white 1 (which I've owned for a year now) and have used it for gaming (World of Warcraft which I don't play now). In the course of the time that I employed it for gaming, the battery life lasted me about three months, which was more than what I was expecting (I was playing about 8 hours a day for 6 days a week). I haven't knowledgeable the 'flaw' in the "Feather-Tappers beware." evaluation, but I do think that a couple of poor goods sneak previous QC.Immediately after rather a bit of usage, the top piece of plastic (the blue piece) does loosen up, and calls for you to tighten two screws that are just about inaccessible due to the battery springs (but it can be performed).

Great Battery life. Really sturdy feeling. No jumping Only factor I observed is that the one particular I use on my mac mini. Just about every time I restart, the mac takes its time in noticing that the mouse is there---its like it is reinstalling it each and every time. This could be apple's fault, not logitechs because I dont have that challenge on my other pc.

Looks Great, Compact Input Lag makes it unusable I bought this to use with a HTPC which is also used for gaming. The input lag on this mouse even when sitting a handful of feet from the dongle created it frustrating to use in Windows, and unusable in games. I would advocate against his mouse even for simple internet use. If other BT mice are this poor, I'm going back to regular RF - which has been sufficient for games like WoW at least.

Bluetooth indicates no dongle sticking outside the USB port. Tiny adequate to be portable but not also little. Goes by 2 NIMH batteries in a week, Alkaline in two weeks, shortens battery life on laptop (bluetooth), and cursor is jumpy. I really like Logitech Mice but this is the worst mouse i have ever had. An old wired 1 with the ball is better than this IMO.The cons inform you every thing you need to have to know.I ordered yet another mouse with the Micro Dongle so I can go back to RF based mice.I like Logitech general but this mouse is unusable and eats up battery life of the laptop although this will vary with the bluetooth card you have.My guidance is to keep away from this. Also, the sensor is not in the middle so quite a few will have complications keeping the mouse aligned.

Worked correct out of the box with out possessing to set up any drivers. Most of the time performs incredibly well, and batteries seem to last a long time. I'm not a southpaw, but for these who are, the mouse is symmetrical which signifies lefties can use it just as well as righties. Good style too... really like the color and size. Two points. One, the sound of the buttons clicking is a little loud for my tastes, but this is a quite major nitpick. It isn't that loud, just louder than what I'm utilised to. Second, I do sometimes knowledge erratic behavior on-screen, such as jittery movements or a delay between movements of the mouse and on-screen movements. Nevertheless, I am unsure if this is a challenge with the mouse, the BT receiver on my notebook, or some other sort of interference. Most of the time it is fine although. Some people today have complained about the "wake-up" time immediately after the mouse hasn't been used for a bit, but it actually isn't that undesirable. It takes about half-a-second to start out moving once more, and then every little thing is fine immediately after that. It's not a massive deal at all, and I'm glad the mouse is going to sleep at just about every opportunity to conserve battery life.

Fantastic mouse. Replaced a low-cost mouse that came with a cooling package and boy what a distinction this makes. It a great good quality mouse and actually appears to function very effectively. Slick styling as well. Had difficulty connecting mouse to Windows Vista on a laptop. Connection dropped a number of instances to mouse. Worth the money compared to more affordable mice.

This performs right ou tof the box with my Macbook Pro, be it in OSX or Windows below Bootcamp. I only have two native USB ports, so anything Bluetooth is appreciated.I also use it on my desktop with a usb-bt plug. Often demands a sec to locate the connection to my desktop. This could be a dongle situation although. Not enough to give it less than a 5. The mouse can be turned off on the bottom, preserving battery life. So far five months without having shifting the battery. Now that I said that, it will most likely be empty when I get property :)

No receiver necessary, Laser accuracy and Basic to use Bluetooth signal has it's weakness Gave away my old v270, and purchased this 1. Loved the old 270 but this a single tops the old mouse with side scrolling and laser accuracy. Performs on my sofa, jeans and and so forth. The only surface these mouse have trouble with is the Glass (thick table kind). But that's actually nit picking. Like it, buy it, and thumbs up for newegg.

Sensible price tag, superior tracking, for WinXP didn't demand any drivers. The plastic does appear quite inexpensive. I've read some of the evaluations that said stuff like poor tracking, frequent sleep modes. I don't have any complications with mine. Operating WinXP right here, have to wonder if there are method complications or possibly driver conflicts for people who do have problems.
