No receiver necessary, Laser accuracy and Basic to use Bluetooth signal has it's weakness Gave away my old v270, and purchased this 1. Loved the old 270 but this a single tops the old mouse with side scrolling and laser accuracy. Performs on my sofa, jeans and and so forth. The only surface these mouse have trouble with is the Glass (thick table kind). But that's actually nit picking. Like it, buy it, and thumbs up for newegg. |

Sensible price tag, superior tracking, for WinXP didn't demand any drivers. The plastic does appear quite inexpensive. I've read some of the evaluations that said stuff like poor tracking, frequent sleep modes. I don't have any complications with mine. Operating WinXP right here, have to wonder if there are method complications or possibly driver conflicts for people who do have problems. |

Lightweight, fantastic battery life. I used it all the time as well. Looks fantastic Laggy when gaming. I can attribute several losses to this mouse while playing my favorite approach games, which depend heavily on mouse movement. Also to a lesser extent FPS' , but nevertheless. Can get other mice with much better worth-for-cash these days |

It is a mouse. The challenge is....the v470 mouse goes into a sleep mode following five seconds of no movement.. When I read a little bit internet web page, sort a small bit words, edit a small bit, the mouse go to sleep mode, and when I move, it is jump. This is not great point since the aim is not predictable. I have tried to google, but I can't come across any answer for this challenge. |

Bluetooth is works good with a bluetooth enabled laptop or netbook. Quickly recognized and begins appropriate up. Tracking is fantastic, I can use it on my carpet with no challenge :). On and off switch on the mouse is wonderful. Mouse will tend to halt for a bit when not in continuous use. not positive on battery life however but so far it's worked out nicely. |

Very good battery life. When the mouse fails, you can use the batteries in somthing else! Comfy in the hand. I've owned three of these mice in the previous 6 months, and 2 of the 3 have failed. Neither failed mouse was droped, banged or abused in any way. With both failures, the mouse would connect, but no inputs previous connecting reached my laptop. All other BT devices as nicely as the 1 working mouse connect and operate flawlessly. I've had excellent service from other Logitech mice, but I just can\'t advocate this one. |

Works on almost just about every surface which includes scrolling and clicking with out any surface and in either hand. No need to have to install the bulky software since it works proper out of the package and the Bluetooth frees up a substantially necessary USB slot. Quite strong and scratch-resistant and has a long battery life thanks to the handy on/off switchIt comes with a tiny carrying pouch and... wait for it... batteries *are* integrated! The muscles in my tiny hands a wrists get a tiny sore immediately after hours of continual use due to the fact of the high arch. Indestructible. I've been thinking about obtaining a new mouse for over a year now but I can't justify acquiring 1 when the Logitech works just fine. I've had this thing for over two years now. The mouse (and it's subsequently detached battery cover) has gone flying across the hardwood floor much more instances than I can count - not a scratch and works wonderful. Mouse, batteries and their cover careening more than the hospital's tough, cold tiles (more than after) - batteries back in, anything's all excellent. It's durability is unprecedented. It just won't die. I say buy it. |

Bluetooth: no dongle taking up one particular of my USB ports.Battery life has been fantastic, and works properly with my Duracell rechargable Ni-MH batteries.I can use it with both OSX and Windows 7 in boot camp minor con: had to tweak scrolling settings in the Logitech driver to get the scrolling to perform at a decent speed. Default was way also slow, I feel since the two-finger scrolling function on the multi-touch trackpad is super sensitive. Nevertheless installing the logitech software program allowed me to tweak the mouse seperate from the "Master" settings geared towards the trackpad. I had to go via pairing twice (once for OSX, the moment for win7) but that's to be expected. Due to the fact it doesn't use a one of a kind pairing code, all the mouse knows is the MAC address of the bluetooth chip in the notebook, and considering that it's usually talking to that exact same chip, certainly it doesn't know the difference among the OSX and the win7 environment. |

Little, like its supposed to be. Just about comfy. The older Logitech bluetooth laptop mouse was better. Good styling. THE LASER IS OFFSET!!! Its not in the center of the mouse. If you use the mouse on the arm of an simple chair :) , your continuously repositioning the laser. The older Logitech bluetooth had the laser dead center of the mouse. The train button is modest, and the as soon as you press it, you have to turn the mouse over to see if it is in the correct mode. At the moment seeking for a new older Logitech bluetooth mouse. |

Wonderful mouse so far. Replaced an old Logitech wireless travel mouse with a giant proprietary USB receiver.Making use of it with a Cirago USB bluetooth adapter and the Toshiba stack for the Cirago on 32-Bit XP Pro. No problems, and dual-booting XP pro on an external harddrive along with the internal one and one more copy of windows. I do not have to re-pair it to each and every copy of windows. That's slick. Original rechargable batteries show twoǙrds full nonetheless more than a month of use now.Wireless lag is no worse than with my old mouse and dedicated receiver.Functions on every single solid surface I've tried it with, even a fishbowl. None that I can believe of. I never ever even turn it off. Newegg is stellar as usually! |

Exceptional battery life, not also smaller, ř" buttons + wheel, looks amazing. Not absolutely everyone has bluetooth on their laptop I just enjoy this mouse. The setpoint software is great- I remapped the buttons to have the wheel rocker be fwd/back on websites, and it monitors the battery level for you. The computer software also tends to make it so connection is a breeze. Some people today don't want the overhead of running the setpoint software (about 10k mem in XP) but it is optional! You don't want to install the software to the the mouse to operate. Also, it isn't also tiny like some laptop mice are- its the excellent size for transportable and valuable. I use the mouse Ӯhrs per day for much more than two months now and the batteries are nonetheless fantastic! This mouse is Totally worth each penny. |

Wireless with no dongle.Modest, but not too small.Great precision.Feels solid Not a con, but an FYI if you have a Dell personal computer with integrated bluetooth. Getting the V470 connected to my Precision M90 with Dell Wireless 360 Bluetooth was pretty frustrating due to the fact it kept prompting me for a PIN when I was undertaking the pairing. Reading by way of other forums this is apparently a prevalent difficulty with Dell bluetooth modules.I finally pieced with each other adequate information to find out it needed disabling the security for mice in the Bluetooth settings. To modify this on the 360 module, go to Start off > Bluetooth > Bluetooth Facts Exchanger. Choose Bluetooth > Options, then click the Security tab. Choose Custom Settings and scroll down till you get to the Mouse section. Uncheck each boxes and click OK till you get back out of every thing. Now it should pair just fine with no PIN prompt. I dinged this review one particular egg simply because of the lack of info about the PIN and security settings. I understand Logitech can't be responsible for Dell's bluetooth card, but a blurb warning that this could be an problem and saying that the mouse doesn't call for a PIN would have been useful. |

Easy to setup. Fashionable. Worked with my Pc and Mac. Lag. Sometimes erratic. Form is a small modest for hand. Overly sensitive. There is a smaller quantity of lag that is annoying, but nevertheless usable. Also, the cursor sometimes jumps when there is no movement for a number of seconds. This happened on each my Pc laptop as properly as on my Macbook Pro. |

Performs exactly as advertised. Have been utilizing on and off for several weeks and batteries nevertheless holding strong. Nice not to have a cord or use a USB slot. No major noticeable difference than when making use of the old cordless USB mouse. Fast delivery as usual from Newegg. None! Can't actually say this is a con, but it was tempermental when working with the Windows 7 driver/software on the mini laptop. Nonetheless, as soon as the included software program was installed, it worked like a charm with certainly no troubles. |

Bluetooth signifies that there is no USB receiver sticking out of the side of your laptop to shed or break. Lengthy battery life lasts substantially longer than the Microsoft Bluetooth mouse (which I also own but don't use any much more). Logitech setup software enables remapping of the buttons, which is important to run particular CAD software package programs. None I own 3 of these mice (home and operate) and they perform great. I very advise utilizing NiMH rechargeable batteries with this mouse. Batteries last several months amongst recharges. |

- Comfortable- Little- Simple to clean - Bluetooth or mouse lag takes a bit of time to get used to.- Can't be far more than a yard/meter away from the bluetooth host devoid of lots of lag.- Pricey (for a mouse) This is an superb bluetooth mouse. As I mentioned in my cons, the lag is about the only problem. The feedback is slower than a wired or non-bluetooth wireless mouse, but the moment you get utilized to the lag it isn't a massive dilemma.I'm super picky about my keyboards & mice. I utilized to be a Microsoft mouse guy, but this 1 is far more comfortable. It is also substantially smaller sized, so traveling with the mouse is quite effortless. When I commence acquiring weird behaviors, I know it is time to swap out the recharge-in a position batteries. |

It worked wonderful though it lasted though. Smaller, light, portable, effortless to connect. One cool thing is the scroll button can be pushed to the left or proper as distinctive button presses for points like back/forward in a net browser. Just had mine die following owning it for close to four years. So, out of warranty, but not by a entire lot. I've had fantastic experiences with Logitech peripherals in the past and expected it to final longer, because it wasn't utilised as well generally. The batteries lasted for a Extremely long time, and when they were lastly dying and I replaced them the mouse stopped operating completely. Nothing I do can bring it back to life sadly. |

It functions well, good ergonomics, pairs even with out loading Logitech software program.Only issue additional easy than this is a trackpoint. slightly larger than I expected, doesn't come with BT dongle like some - not a biggie to me but if you're expecting to get a single for your Computer - don't.No password pairing. I'd prefer getting a single even if it's exact same for all Logitech devices. it appears wheel supports left-correct tilt clicking, probably when Logitech sw is loaded... |

This performs right ou tof the box with my Macbook Pro, be it in OSX or Windows below Bootcamp. I only have two native USB ports, so anything Bluetooth is appreciated.I also use it on my desktop with a usb-bt plug. Often demands a sec to locate the connection to my desktop. This could be a dongle situation although. Not enough to give it less than a 5. The mouse can be turned off on the bottom, preserving battery life. So far five months without having shifting the battery. Now that I said that, it will most likely be empty when I get property :)
