It has a wee bit of weight. Would be a balancing act for a netbook. It's fine on my gaming laptop though. I bought this due to the fact my asus g60vx's speakers no longer output anything thanks to a faulty headphone jack. This was the fantastic replacement/upgrade due to the fact it's pure digital audio and this is essentially a sound bar. Best audio I have had out of a laptop without having hooking it to a stereo technique.

Great product from Logitech with some minor drawbacks. I bought this unit as a sound upgrade to the Asus G53JW laptop speakers and this blows away the built in speakers in terms of sound quality. The sound is loud and clear. Mid range and trebles are great. Bass is present but not loud, which is expected from a speaker of this size. The clip easily fits onto the screen and doesn't scratch the finish on the laptop.The only real complaints I have about this unit:1. Volume increments are really messed up. Setting the volume to 1 is equivalent to a 50 setting on the built-in speakers. 2 gets way louder. Once you get to about 15-100, there's really no difference. I'm constantly having to fiddle with media player software volumes when using this since I can't rely on the windows master volume anymore. Very annoying.2. USB cable is too short. It just barely reaches the furthest USB port. Would have been nice to have another inch or two of cable.In short, I would buy this again due to the low price point and upgrad in sound. Just be aware of the shortfalls.

Straightforward install, incredibly handy Brief cable, ok sound It will sound superior than your laptop speakers. But the cable must be 3" longer; I have a 17" laptop with the USB inputs near the front and it is barely long sufficient. Why they created it THIS brief I have no concept. The sound is ok, but for the funds is reasonable. If you do not have a wide bezel, do not get this or the clips will be on the screen. For the correct application (under 17" with a wide bezel) it's a superior remedy.

I seriously like how it hides itself behind the monitor. The click seems perfectly stable. The one cord for power/sound USB is great. The sound is fairly loud. The sound is a little low-cost sounding. Not too bad, well worth the cheap price, and with the cool style, I'm satisfied. I wish I didn't notice the hollow plastic sound though. I've grown used to it. I'd look for a superior excellent 1 of the same style next time. Maybe pay 20 dollars additional for superior sound.

Decent sound, convenient to use, gets power from USB. The sound isn't audiophile, but it's decent top quality for what it is, it has reasonable volume, and is a huge improvement over laptop speakers. I require it for playing videos for demonstration purposes and it need to be outstanding for that. None. It gets its power from USB, which is a positive, but don\'t forget that if you're running on your battery, you'll almost certainly have to recharge it somewhat much more typically.USB delivered it to the wrong house. Newegg was outstanding in arranging to make a claim to get a replacement, but I was able to cancel the claim when the people today UPS delivered it to gave it to me four days later.

These speakers are great!!! I got them for my fiance her laptop as its speakers were pathetic. It plugs in to USB no power supply needed. It cleverly designed as it has little claws with rubber pads so it attaches on top of the laptop screen avoiding blocking built in cameras. Works on any LCD screen as well and can be a great way to have nice sound without the need for desk space. It has a power button and a plus and minus buttons for sound, as well as a phone jack hidden under so u can plug it into a regular PCThe sound quality surprised me a bit, its very good, rich and clean, it even has a little bit of bass in it. It comes with a carry bag/pouch sleeve for protection and dust. Will fit into any laptop bag along with a laptop and its not heavy at all despite the way it looks. Quality materials on this product throughout. Makes me want to replace my cheep speakers at work, it u search around u can find it for around 50 bucks to price match.Not going to be all things to all people obviously, but its great.Awesome job Logitech!Highly recommended!
