Not as loud to me as has been mentioned in other testimonials. For an otherwise good solution, it gets 1 egg because there was no feasible way to mount this...anyplace...on my case.To clarify that, it comes with 4 screws for mounting. However the screws are bulky, deeply threaded, and do not match any regular screw hole on the case. Further, the fan's mounting holes are NOT threaded, so the screw is useless. In addition to the truth that the screws can not be used, the fan came with no other way to mount it, generating it all but useless. This was a second fan for my chassis and thankfully the original case fan 鲸mm) was mounted with plastic fasteners that also (but barely) match this fan and had been compatible with the case's window holes. To make sure that each fans remain attached, I've had to sticky tack the corners to the case creating for a rather exceptionally ugly sight. The energy connectors are also bound with black plastic generating them rather inflexible and ugly provided the fan itself is clear. This is stupefyingly contradictory. I needed a fan that wasn't expensive, not amazingly loud but had excellent flow. I personal (and have reviewed) Masscool's IDE to SATA converted and was very satisfied with that. Relying on that optimistic knowledge, I was stunned by how frustrating this item was to install. It is a wonderful fan, but I cannot (and will not) suggest it given the screws don't match the item a lot less anywhere on my case (even if the fan was threaded, the screws are also big for the fan!). I stay completely disappointed with MassCool. I did not pick to return the fan nonetheless since my case was running far too hot and I required to raise air flow. Since I was capable to get both my fans stably mounted, I decided to live with the sticky tack. Secondly, I've wanted to (and now have) a crossfire setup. This fan is an outflow straight over each cards 񢨠s, so the heat generated is absurd) and I don't believe I could do with out it.

Fantastic fans. I installed two of these on the front of my case and they dropped my GPU temperatures six degrees! Went from 53 idle 68 load down to 46-47 idle 63 load. Somewhat loud, guess I had a pretty quiet technique to start with, but now my laptop is noticeably louder. Fans aren't also loud, and for the temerature drop I can't complain. Would suggest these to anybody wanting to drop their temperatures 5-six degrees.

Comments: Good fans. I have two of them in the back of my case for exhaust. The screws where tough to get in...I stripped 1, but then i used some plyers so i didnt strip the screw hole...Thats got points moving. Good job Newegg.

This Point Moves a lot of air and does so quite quietly. Also now i can sleep at evening because there are no vibrant blue LED's to keep me awake. cord is wrapped in black so it looks good to. I'm planning on adding a couple additional to see if ice cicles start out to kind on the inside of my case. =) No blue led's if your into that kinda thing. Sucks papers and tiny animals off of my desk. Hook it up to a fan controller like i have mine and you can truly adjust the sound level of your case.

Comments: Incredibly loud. Supposed to be 2700 rpm +- ten%. Incorrect. Mine is operating at 3300 rpm. That's 20% faster. Also rapidly = too loud.

Fantastic value for a fan, and quiet running. Do not push the quantity of air that is stated. I have one more set of fans that push additional air and are rated much less.

Comments: These fans are fantastic. They preserve my system about 3 to four degrees cooler. I put five in my case and you can hear the air flowing. You cant beat the price. I bought ten mainly because it was a wonderful deal. Exceptional get.Of course thanks to Newegg, one more wonderful expertise.

This fan has a higher cfm rating and relatively low db rating (good). It is incredibly quiet and works nicely and I've been employing it for more than a year. Clear plastic enables you to simply see and clean off dust and debris. Some may well not like how it appears dirty. There's no window on my case although so doesn't matter. It's a fan that's worked for over a year and works effectively so no complaints. Very good fan and I recommend one particular if you are in need of a 80mm fan. If you can, constantly get the bigger 120mm fan, but some spots only fit 80mm. Newegg rocks!

Comments: I just installed 4 of these in my method, 1 top rated, 1 side, two rear, along with a 120mm Antec fan I installed in the front. These fans preserve my case a chilly 28C⑂F ƒF above area temp!) on idle, and 30C⑆F in the course of complete load ƖF above space temp). I looked at hundreds of fans comparing CFM to dBA. I found that this fan has the ideal CFM to dBA ratio. No brainer here.

Comments: Functions excellent, not as well loud. Good and clear. Only issue was it was a total Discomfort to screw in. I couldn't get the screws in straight or tight, so the screws are only halfway in, but it's quite stable. My guess is the clear plastic is a lot tougher than the black fans. But whatever, it performs.

Bought two if these and they each worked out of the box with out problems. You can feel them moving allot of air. practically a lot more than my stock raidmax 120mm fans. Can get a tiny loud when running at full rpm used speed fan to dial them back to about 85% and there fairly quiet

Pushes a lot more air than my old fans in my lian-li 65 case, and quieter than then also after I changed all my fan speeds You Will need a fan control unit, these items hum like there's no tomorrow, when I turned it down a bit, every thing is good and quiet. Its cheaper to get five than it is to obtain 4, created no sense to me.

they work as described, 3000 rpm loud, like really loud maybe its my mounts but these are alot louder than other people i have had they perform effectively and were moderately priced shipping costs are a gross inflation for the size and weight of these, id get reduce decibel fans next time
