A normal size mouse for your notebook.
Cons: None, It's a mouse. Can't use it on glass tops, need a mouse pad, but it's not a problem.

Pros: Perfect for my big hands. Does the job the way I need it to do.
Comment:
I am 6'4" and do not have little hands, I looked at retail outlets and all they had for notebooks were tiny mouses. I tried one and my hand kept cramping up.Just because it is a notebook, why do manufacturers make the mouse tiny?

Avoid this mouse!
Cons: Like some others have reported, this mouse has sporadic output. I have never had problems with mice before, but this one is clearly junk. Cursor moves when it feels like it, scrolls only if it feels like it, etc. Included driver disc useless with windows 7. Driver is available from Microsoft website. I will be returning this. I need a mouse that works more than 50% of the time.

Pros: Decent looking and comfortable

Microsoft QVA-00001 Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 - 2.4 GHz, Rechargeable, USB, Magnifier, 4-Way Scrolling
Cons: I cannot find a mouse pad that this mouse works smoothly with. The pads are nothing like any of the MS Mice I have owned.

Pros: Very comphy

the v1 was much better
Cons: Well, even if the mouse was a perfect mouse, if the receiver doesn't work the mouse is a paper weight. The receiver is designed to be stored on the bottom of the mouse when not in use to save battery life. But it's not sturdy enough for plugging in and out too many times. Also because of this you're likely to plug it into the front of your pc and if your pc is low to the ground the receiver will also pick up the signal in your foot and eventually be kicked. I have 2 of these one i did kick so I assumed the receiver breakage was my fault. On another i had a receiver fail (green light out) and when i opened it up i found the same pin had broken from the solder. I was able to solder both of these back together. A friend has the same mouse and guess what...same pin broken form the solder. I don't know if it's the way the housing is connected to the circuit board that pulls the board apart from the usb plug. it's the first pin on the top left that i have seen broken 3 times.

Pros: The mouse is great. Not perfect. Can customize it pretty well with the included software.
Comment:
I'm a huge fan of the 6000 v1. The side buttons were bigger and better placed. I like the smaller receiver on this one but if it doesn't work it makes thing useless. Also the range is poor. I'd rather have a bulky desktop receiver that works! As much as I like this mouse I think I would buy a different one only because of the receiver.

Wonderful Mouse!
Cons: None that I can tell. The buttons are easy to press and respond very well.

Pros: Wow! Comfort, comfort, comfort! I love the magnify button and the back button on the mouse. Very handy!

Ill-Fitted
Cons: I returned this mouse because whenever you press the thumb's back button, it caused the whole mouse to lift up on the left side. It was a very awkward placement and had poor ergonomics regarding that button. This problem happened for both my wife and myself, so I don't think it's a case of user error, but just an odd design.

Pros: Nice fit to both my large hand and my wife's small one.
Comment:
I'm sure there are other pros to this mouse, but the con I listed was such an inconvenience that I boxed it up and returned it before I could learn of any more pros.

Nice mouse...bad range...
Cons: Its ill-tempered... Since the USB dongle has the form factor of a USB memory stick, it probably will reside on the back end of your metal computer case unless you have a hub or don't mind it jutting out of a front USB port. For this reason, along with the fact its working within the 'busy' 2.4 GHz spectrum, it seems to have a hard time working with a 4-5 ft range from dongle to mouse pad. I didn't seem to notice it as much on a standard desktop environment, but during FPS gaming, the mouse would become unresponsive and I'd be stuck staring at a wall until I moved the mouse to my left hand and wiggled it around. Perhaps the increased load of the FPS game makes the computer (with a 2.4 GHz quad core...) produce more RF interference. Maybe this mouse does some frequency hopping to avoid any long term loss of signal, but this doesn't behavior I'm experiencing.

Pros: Its a sleak looking mouse. USB transmitter/receiver fits into bottom of mouse for travel. 5 buttons, scroll, tilt. Works with Vista... It has a laser beam attached to its head...
Comment:
If you have a USB hub, USB ports in your monitor, a computer on the same side of the desk that you mouse from, or perhaps a WiFi noise free neighborhood, you probably won't have any problems with this mouse. I've resided to using a USB extension to get a less obstructed line of sight from the dongle to the mouse. My previous Wireless Intellimouse Explorer has a corded receiver, so I've never noticed any range problems in the past. I'm not sure which RF spectrum it operated on for comparison's sake.

Very good for the price
Cons: The thumb groove isn't as deep as I'd like. This makes the two side buttons vulnerable to accidental clicks. The scroll wheel is extremely sensitive. You can adjust this for website viewing, documents, etc. But this has no effect on gaming. While playing an FPS game like Half-Life 2, scrolling the wheel from one "end" to the other will cause me to cycle through all of my weapons at least 2-3 times, and that's with full weapons. There is no clicking feedback from the scroll wheel like every other mouse I've used.

Pros: Great ErgonomicsNo connectivity issues, my mouse and receiver are in clear line of sight and are about 2 feet apart (monitor has USB ports)
Comment:
I never wanted to buy a wireless mouse, but the price was good. I would definitely consider this an average user's kind of mouse, not a gaming one.

I love this mouse!!!
Cons: None that I know of.

Pros: This is a great cordless mouse! It's very comfortable and durable (unfortunately, I have dropped it many times and have had absolutely no problems with it!) The USB connector stores in the bottom of the mouse and turns off the power to save battery (Newegg really should post a picture of the back of this mouse). I've never had any problems with connection. I had the smaller version for my laptop, which I loved, but the size of it didn't fit my hand quite right and caused hand pain for me. I found this one and ordered it and no more hand problems!. I've had this mouse for about 4 months and have only changed the battery once and I use my laptop a lot...and often forget to unplug the USB connector from the laptop and put it in the bottom of the mouse. I like it so much, I'm thinking about ordering one for my desktop too.

Bleh....
Cons: This mouse is so light it feels like it's made of sub-quality parts. It's doesn't have the "heft" of the first 6000 that it replaced. The mouse also doesn't feel comfortable when being used.. your pinky and ring finger are on the mouse pad, and the thumb area doesn't hold your thumb up, so it's on the mouse pad as well.On hard mouse pads, the mouse just doesn't glide like all the other mice I've owned from MS.If it were me, I'd just stay away from this mouse.

Pros: There's really only 2 good things I can say about this mouse. The little usb part is small and can be attached to the bottom of the mouse, which turns off the battery in the mouse, so it's not wasted (atleast, I think it does). The other thing is that it has a battery indicator. Other than that.. Look at the cons. The most eggs I'll give this unit is two. It's just a horrible rendition of a decent mouse.
Comment:
This mouse was a replacement for the v1 of the same name. When I got it here, I used it (or tried to) for about 10 minutes before I went online to buy another v1 of the 6000. I'll let my kids have it...or auction it.I think the best mouse I've owned to date from MS is the Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer 2.0, then the v1 of this 6000 mouse. And this mouse is a far cry from that.

Not impressed
Cons: Had problems keeping connection ocassionally. No interference in home Even home phone isnt 2.4ghz. Dect 6.0. Was only 7 feet from computer. Very annoying to use. Jumped and disappeared from screen for a few seconds. Then reappeared at the edge of screen. Maybe i had a buggy one but wasnt impressed. For the money Ill stick with regular wireless not the 2.4 ghz.

Pros: Comfortable to hold. Parcel to ergonomics.
Comment:
Retruned within 30 days tried to gtet use to it but it wasnt up to par. Also having problem getting refund, no word after 5 days so far. Seemd out of sorts for Newegg but Ill see how long this takes.
