wonderful for the 1st 9 months, but.................. .......began freezing up immediately after that, such as it just would stop moving for a feww seconds but trhe light stays on, i caled microsoft, but they mentioned they have noticed inctances of this, but becoming that i dont have a proof of puechase, they cant replace it. this gets extremely annoying, especailly wen those few seconds mean life or death in BF2 or C&C zero hour. freezes up at usual use too,( surfing the web, ) that sorta factor. i have tried this mouse on other comps, it has the similar difficulty. I had 3 optical microsofts. Getting windows is $xxx, im shocked the mouse that can final practically a year with no difficulties is at that price tag.ImaYam <check me out at BF2 or the thesquad.bravenet.com

Low cost, familiar shape, comfortable to use. The scroll wheel is a bit also sensitive. You can't support but tap it a bit at times whenever you roll the scroll wheel and it automatically registers as you clicking it.Buttons are a bit flimsy IMO, which is ok unless when you push the button towards the scroll wheel the scroll wheel will begin getting friction from the contacted left/right button. Bought at a nearby retail retailer.

Light weight, very good tracking, cool red light? center button likes to move 1 notch by itself now and then, gets old when undertaking graphics from time to time! Have to of bought a dozen of these more than the years, most last a year or so with heavy gaming use, standard use there just fine!

Looks nice. Smooth movement. Correct or left handed. Optical, so no mousepad is required. Lightweight, but feels solid. Doesn't move for you! ;-) I've been making use of a trackball instead of a mouse for the past 14 years, but right after using this mouse for the past 3 days (setting up a process for someone else), I may be prepared to switch.

Only great and decent mouse out there. no annoying fancy rails on the sides to hurt your hand. Truly uncomplicated and comfortable design. No annoying side buttons to lose your grip on the sides with. The mouse wheel gets simpler to scroll with soon after the 1st couple of weeks, becoming highly intuitive. If you somehow discovered the time to get utilised to super high dpi mouses then I guess you wouldn't like this mouses average but powerful dpi level. You'll nevertheless get headshots just as effortless. I've gone via about 3 of these over the course of 3 years, but thats not to say they cant final for various years I just keep getting them mainly because their cheap and can get dirty following a year (although you can effortlessly open it up and clean it if 1 was so inclined, (toothpick does the trick for the tiny line searching crevices going along the sides)

Durable. Have applied on a mouse pad, back of a notebook, carpet, wood and no dilemma tracking or cursor jumping about. Wheel scrolling is extremely smooth and quiet. I don't don\'t forget it was like this or not but it's a great factor to me. It's light and can be applied on either hands. Screws are hidden beneath the teflon feet. If only I knew where it was. Clicking is sort of loud, in all probability because I've been making use of it for additional than five years already. Purchased it at Walmart 5 years ago for -twenty five- + tax

*The scroll wheel is ridged and has a very great feel. Why are most scroll wheels created of smooth rubber anyway? The scroll wheel on this mouse is fantastic.*Simple to install and use. It just functions. This mouse is rather huge. Personally, I like smaller mice, which signifies I use my fingertips to move/control it. Bigger mice assume that my entire hand is going to be plastered to it, which calls for use of my wrist/arm, and I assume this contributes to carpal tunnel and other issues. To each and every his own I guess.

Works, it's black. I have no concept when they decided to adjust the continual red light and opt for a light that flashes when you move the mouse, but feel it's annoying. Possibly it's broken, but my roommate says his has generally done that. Also, there is a clicking noise in it when I move it side to side. My old 1 seems a lot much more stable and sturdy.

It operates. I've noticed a trend with newer stock that when you lift the mous for a split second to compensate for the lack of space so you can move your cursor, it just sends the cursor flying to some unknown location. If you had been playing an FPS and that happened, you'd be undertaking the ballerina dance. My older ones don't exhibit this behavior. It is my typical mouse. I don't consider I'll ever switch to any other unless they come up with longer battery life and a lot more stable connectivity so I could move on to wireless, which I don't trust all too much suitable now.

Comment:
This mouse is rather huge (for much better accuracy at pointing and clicking when doing issues speedily as the buttons are also large). It also supports each PSǘ and USB, which aids make it additional versatile. Lastly, the clicking sound is quite quiet, about 15 dB from 3 feet away. When I turn my computer system off, the red light stays on, which is bothersome to me as its wasting energy, but then again, all optical mice that I've observed have this behavior. You'll have to disconnect the mouse from the back of the case in order to turn the light off (and it's very noticeable when its dark, nearly as if it was a night light). My earlier mouse, three years old, also optical, was acting up, so I got this mouse to replace it. I'd be holding the left mouse button down and dragging to move stuff, and, out of nowhere, I'm no longer moving something, hinting that the contacts had been getting worn out. Also, be certain to uncheck the "enhance pointer precision" solution in Windows, otherwise, the arrow will typically slowly drift to the leading left (probably due to integer math rounding down fractional parts Ɣ.999 becomes four instead of 5), a bug with Windows (XP at least)).

This is a good optical mouse from Microsoft. It comes with a normal USB connection, but also contains the legacy PSǘ adapter incase you need that setup. Mouse has a good really feel. No cons with such a simple item. I bought this mouse to replace the Dell PSǘ trackball mouse that came with our Pc a few years back.

I perform with literally millions of dollars worth of technology each and every day. This humble mouse is amongst the least expensive and simplest devices I use, but it is also among the best. A mouse is like an IT department - when it's performing its job, nobody thinks about it. I've been utilizing mine for years, and rarely give it any thought. It fits perfectly in my hand, glides nicely on my desk with out a mousepad, doesn't leave any marks behind, and functions exactly as you would anticipate. It is precise, consistent, and the controls have wonderful really feel. I'm very picky and vital of most technologies, however can't consider of something bad to say about this mouse. It is brick simple and does precisely what I expect it to do, and has no annoying buttons or drivers that might introduce unwanted behavior.I have a drawer full of different high-end cordless mice that the IT guys have given me over the years. I've tried them out for a even though but this one beats them all, and I've lastly given up trying other mice. You can't enhance on perfection. If you like bells and whistles or can't live without having cordless or the most up-to-date technology, skip this mouse, but if you just want something that is comfy, dependable, and performs fundamental mouse functions day following day, grab it.

Nice Microsoft develop high quality. Functions out of the box.Low-cost. Mouse wheel sits a bit low.Not a lazer mouse??? I wanted a black mouse to match my new gaming pc and finally decided to get this one particular. It's functions fine. Maybe not a lazer mouse, consequently just 4 stars. I've never ever had a lazer mouse so...don't want to invest that sort of dough! My only complaint is that the wheel sits kinda low; took a bit of finding utilised to. It'll expense you a few grenades or whatever you commonly set that "push" to do for you. It scrolls fine. I generally thought the five-button Intellimouse was the way to go, but I took a opportunity with this one for the color. I'm not disappointed & I advocate it.

Good feeling. High top quality. Doesn't function on plastic desk or work bench surface -- no tracking signal at all. Very poor on dinning table cloth. On the contrary, some genuinely low-cost optical mice, possibly with newer technologies, work properly on all these surfaces! You have to be cautious if the optical mouse demands to be on a lot of type of surfaces. Only some new chips enable the laser to detect specail surfaces.

Really Durable, uncomplicated to use, excellent response, looks amazing, suitable or left handed, fits the hand great. Normally dies immediately after about two years, I'm on my third, but 20 bucks isnt much to replace a excellent mouse after two lengthy years of use.

Most comfy mouse I've used. Superior construct excellent than the Microsoft Blue, and I enjoy the smoothness and softness of the buttons and wheel. None. I use this moues for gaming since I like comfy and uncomplicated designs when it comes to mice. If you are a fan of a lot of buttons or awkward designs then do not get this, but if you are a fan of the conventional mouse style then you honestly will not get a far better mouse than this.
