Low cost, accurate and precise, comfy, black/red optics, USB None? I grew up on two sorts of mice -- Simple Microsoft (akin to this a single)- Basic Logitech optical (slightly smaller/more compact)I've actually owned a Wheel Mouse Optical 1.1 for more than 6 YEARS NOW and use it as my main mouse. It's super worn, but it still is as accurate and smooth as ever. I've employed it for gaming on every thing from WoW and Quake to MW2 and Bad Corporation two, and you cannot get a greater gaming mouse for ~ฟ.I use it on a SteelSeries QcK+ Mat, and it's smooth/accurate as ever. I'm searching at picking up an actual "gaming" mouse, but I might pickup an additional one particular of these for a spare, in case I switch back.PHENOMENAL mouse.. Get one particular! |

it does what it supposed to do.the pointer is accurate and responsive.the value is actually decent for a genuinely decently produced item the only con that i can consider of is that the mouse is fairly light in weight. not that a heavy-a$s mouse would be a superior factor, it's just that it feels slightly affordable because it's so light. genuinely tho, it's no biggie and does it's job just fine none truly. i'm pleased with the acquire. if you're looking for a mouse, this is 1 i'll suggest to you for value and usability. i use it a lot to play battlefield: poor business two hehe |

I have owned one version or a different of these style of Microsoft 3 Wheel Optical Mouse since, nicely the day they were released. I do allot of gaming, mostly MMORPG's like Globe of Warcraft. This thing hits the marks time and time once again. I have substantial hands, and it feels just excellent for me. I would have to say other than Windows XP Pro being released, this is the best thing Microsoft has made. With the capability to configure the sensitivity and scroll rate in the regular Mouse options in your manage panel, no need to have for added software to be concerned about additional input lag. This is definitely the ideal mouse you can purchase for the Ũ.01 - ฮ.00 value range. It doesn't play WoW for me. Make certain to adjust the mouse settings in your start/control panel/mouse selections to configure this for your play or usage style. The default factory settings are good and all. But tweaking them just a little does make a difference in at least for me in my 25man and 40man, and Arena Content. |

My 1st such mouse was purchased on 2001. I applied it for ten years. Ten years a mouse is pretty great. None. Why Microsoft is still producing this? I mean low-cost and excellent. They will not make considerably funds on this item. |

It works. Each time, all the time. It's comfortable to use. No cramped fingers. Properly right after numerous years I've found one surface it functions poorly on. A affordable smooth somewhat shiny location mat on the kitchen table. After five years of playing Minesweeper, 1 of the switches (clickie buttons) is apt to go belly up. It's the only mouse I want to use. |

It's a wonderful mouse for the price. It has a extremely accurate sensor with out the movement correction that most other mice have. From time to time after scrolling down, the mouse wheel pops up one notch a number of seconds later. It also has a cheesy red light that does nothing other than light up the logo. |

Been employing these forever. Last 3 years under heavy use and occasional slamming on the desk. Good for low sensitivity players as the LED tracks superior than Laser under larger movements.Doesn't come in a stupid blister pack or any extra packaging. Could use maybe 1 or 2 a lot more buttons |

It does almost every thing proper. There isn't actually that substantially that can go bad with a mouse although... Scroll wheel is definitely annoying, if i leave it nonetheless more than a page it will just randomly scroll up right after like 10 seconds. Get's really annoying. In fact it just did it suitable now. Go with logitech, devote a small more $ and purchase a razer, or some thing else with a working 3rd button/wheel. |

I don't like the battery powered optical mouses--just mainly because it feels like I am continually feeding them new batteries. This mouse of course is powered via the usb connector... that's a pro (no batteries = very good). The style is sleek, solid, and the high quality is extremely high in contrast to the price. The mouse is a great size and the color is black--which matches my keyboard properly. This is the third or fourth mouse I have owned like this, I am incredibly pleased with this model of microsoft mouse. I have paid 2-three times additional for a mouse, but this is the 1 I prefer (I have a logitech mouse--which is a bit modest, and I have a infrared mouse, which needs new batteries every month). It's got a cord. For some people today that's a con. For me its a plus-- on the other hand, I believed I really should point that out. Honestly, there's no real cons with this mouse. |

What can I say, I've been employing this mouse for five+ years on numerous machines. Any other mouse feels awkward to me, and affects any 'gaming' performance I may possibly be using it for... if that is the purpose.Just to give an example: I bought a Logitech G9 a though back,.. one of the best gaming mice about. I switched back to this mouse in much less than a day. Yes, a 12$ mouse is my preferred mouse for gaming, work, internet browsing, graphics style, and so on. I'm confident I am biased as I have turn into accustomed to the product more than a long period of time. Even so, if the product wasn't top quality this wouldn't have occurred in the 1st place,.. Also they are dependable. I nonetheless have two I've replaced given that.. that are white. The suitable click buttons make a slight click noise after 5-10yrs of use on them.. but the nonetheless function fine. (The logo has worn off, that is how a lot I utilised them). Now I've swapped them out for new black variations. Ummm.. Maybe it looks too plain to some people today these days? (I like the appear). Otherwise none. Tried and true design,.. superior laser engine -- ergonomically sound -- You can't go wrong for any application imho. |

Has fantastic scroll wheel really feel. Comfy, specially for those that prefer this style as opposed to the far more egg shaped (which I like far more).Initially 1 I bought my brother still makes use of each day. Tracking is the excellent in between too sensitive and not sensitive adequate. Scroll wheel is easy sufficient to press down without accidentally acquiring pressed when your only scrolling (causing you to toss a grenade when you wanted to select your stealth knife).Good quality style, straightforward and durable. The logitech and microsoft mice that utilised to be ร.99 and are now ฝ-ม are the gamers selection, as no buttons to accidentally get hit, like on the ุ+ mice that like to put buttons where your pinky or thumb need to have to rest that get clicked when you didnt want to. Light at back is about twice as bright as would be very good, have to cover it to watch a movie at night.Only reason to get this more than equally fantastic logitech mouse is preference for the fat back, much less egg shape. Microsoft and Logitech make the finest mice and keyboards. There are some models that have some bad design options, but those are also typically the far more pricey ones.I feel the cable is about 2 inches longer then typical.Microsofts tendency to release worse and worse software each year and charge out the assss for word processor programs dose not carry more than to their hardware. It truly is a unique organization attitude when it comes to input devices. |

This is a perfectly fine mouse with no massive frills or weird styles. It's low-cost. It's optical. It's full size. It comes in black or white. It requires no batteries. The scroll wheel, whilst not the "comfort" or "quiet" versions of some other mice, feels a lot better to me, and is less complicated to scroll quicker. The included USB to ps2 adapter feels snug and fairly sturdy over others' I've seen. I have been unable to find a hardwired ps2 version. I've had a white, and black version of this mouse for about 7 years. I just bought this 3rd 1 recently. All 3 mice have in no way as soon as given me trouble in the slightest. That is some thing I can't say about other people I've had, or had the opportunity to attempt out.I don't use the ps2 adapter, but I do really feel it would work fairly well.I want to add that I don't suggest the smaller slightly cheaper Microsoft mouse. It's a lot smaller and I haven't recognized it as reliable. I've experienced jumpy mouse pointers. If you are looking at 1 of the low cost Microsoft mice, this black 1, otherwise the equivalent white version would make a great choice. |

Did the job with no problems for a year. Solid construction (hard to take apart) Lasted only about a year before dying though in use.Shortest life of any mouse I have ever owned. While using the mouse on a PC running Windows 7, the mouse became erratic (working, then not, each and every second or two), the PC beeped and error messages about unknown USB device or driver install had failed. The red glow kept coming on and off and altering USB ports didn't support. Was it a semi-broken wire or a loose diode? Who knows, but I couldn't effortlessly take it apart to check inside. |

Buttons are nice and straightforward to press.Only needs a light touch, which is wonderful in my opinion.Feels nice in my hand, seems solid. Low DPI, but I guess that's expected at the value point.Uncomplicated to accidentally nudge the scroll wheel. If Microsoft sold a additional precise version of this mouse, I would obtain it in a heartbeat. Basic, comfortable, and fairly solid. I've had this one for virtually 7 years now. |

Inexpensive, lightweight, USB, optical, basic, very good ergonomics, great sensitivity Doesn't make me pancakes in the morning. I've owned this mouse for much more than five years, didn't think they were still made. It's a genuinely excellent basic mouse. If all you will need is a two button + scroll wheel/button mouse, look no further. The factor has taken so many beatings it amazes me I'm still employing it. In reality, the other day I got so angry at my pc freezing I tried to destroy the mouse. I in fact tried to tear the cord out, and I managed to rip the casing apart. When I cooled down, I kinda popped every thing back and it works just like it did before. Only reason I'm acquiring yet another one is mainly because the casing is warped from me cracking it so it doesn't glide so smooth on the pad. If you have anger issues, this mouse will survive your wrath... trust me. |

The cost was ideal where I wanted it to be. It is sturdy. I doesn't feel like the button will break when pushed like some others I have had. I have larger hands and it feels comfortable for me to use. The Scroll wheel feels a bit loose. Good cost, effortless to use. |
What can I say? It's a 3 button wheel mouse that works just like it must. PSǘ adapter saves a USB port. None As usual, excellent Newegg handling and shipping. Superior price tag.
