Netgear ProSafe 24-Port Gigabit Smart Switch
Cons:- GUI can be a bit slow getting status.- Only 1 user can use the GUI at one time.
Pros:- Very easy to install and setup. If your a beginner to networking this switch is for you. No mucking around in a cmd line to start. And comes preloaded with a GUI.- Quiet. Compared to my Cisco 2950 this thing is dead silent. Then again my 2950 has a 40mm Panaflow- Easy to reset. With a switch right on the front. No yanking cables.- I really like the LED display. Its quite informative and easy to read. Well done.- Jumbo frame support |
Very good switch. Stable and quite a good feature set for the price. I personally found the GUI a bit hard to understand at times. So that's why it only gets 4/5 stars.
