Nexus 120MM Real Silent Case Fan Orange 1000RPM 22.8DBA 36.87CFM 3/4PIN
Cons:Not really

Pros:Silence. Cheap Price. 3-pin motherboard header also included. Easy to install.
Comment:
Buy that fan for front case really easy to install with the 3-pin motherboard header. Would buy it again. Really silence if i compare to the antec fan

Nexus 120MM Real Silent Case Fan Orange 1000RPM 22.8DBA 36.87CFM 3/4PIN
Cons:Price, fairly low static pressure, unusual vibrations when mounted horizontally.

Pros:Silence, Rubber mounts, dual Molex plug, 3-pin motherboard header also included.
Comment:
I purchased a few of these fans in order to silence my already quiet P182 rig. These fans provide almost noiseless operation, but sacrifice airflow for that reason, which is fine with me. The included rubber mounts (instead of screws) remove any vibration that could translate into noise.

Nexus 120MM Real Silent Case Fan Orange 1000RPM 22.8DBA 36.87CFM 3/4PIN
Cons:4pin molex

Pros:low rpm, really silent
Comment:
Using the fans on HR-01 and as intake for case. The fans are like advertised, silent. Only downside is the 4 pin molex adapter which should not be necessary on most modern day motherboards providing a few fan headers. This causes a bit more thought into cable management for airflow since there's more clutter.

Nexus 120MM Real Silent Case Fan Orange 1000RPM 22.8DBA 36.87CFM 3/4PIN
Cons:PriceColor

Pros:Very Quiet!Decent CFM3 and 4 pin connector
Comment:
This fan has become my standard replacement case fan. Running 2 computers with 2 of these each is such a big change over retail fans! They do move a bit less CFM but you can't hear them... they have been highly praised on many silent pc communities. Pair these with a passive CPU cooler such as Scythe Ninja and a 120mm PSU such as Corsair HX series and you're set!Now the minus side: they are fairly expensive (but so are most "quiet" products), and the color, Orange, make you feel like Halloween time all year long! However for the same price you can get a black/white version. This review was modfied by poster @ 06-27-07 07:03 AM

Nexus 120MM Real Silent Case Fan Orange 1000RPM 22.8DBA 36.87CFM 3/4PIN
Cons:if it could move more air

Pros:Very Silent3/4 pinsI like the orange colour
Comment:
I decided that I could not stand the loud 80mm fan in my cooloermaster c5 so I decided to change all the fans in my case to Nexus fans. The Nexus 120mm moves less air that the stock coolermaster 120mm but is slightly quieter. I should have purchased it on sale for better value though.

Pros:very very silent!, good flow of air, its orange!

nexus where have you been all my life?? damn this fan is so quiet, one of the best fans i have ever owned, quiet, and very good cooling, only wished it came with some screws or rubber mounting, and better cleaner wiring, other than that i still love it!

Nexus 120MM Real Silent Case Fan Orange 1000RPM 22.8DBA 36.87CFM 3/4PIN
Cons:None for what it does

Pros:Very Quiet, 3 pin or 4 pin
Comment:
Super quiet and deserving full stars for that, not so sure about price for performance though.I would have been better off going for a antec Tri-cool, about the same cost, more cooling (speed) options. I had to mod the Nexus with a dremel for the Sonata II, should have read more about the fan, but it works fine now.If it's silence you want rather than higher cooling, the nexus should suit your needs.

Pros:Very quietDecent CFM for amount of noise
Comment:
This is a great fan for anyone looking for a quiet computer. I can hardly hear this thing in my rig. It pushes a decent amount of air, considering it's almost whisper quiet.I'd definately recommend this to anyone looking for silence.

Cons:Orange - blech

Pros:Quiet, great airflow, molex and 3pin connectors.
Comment:
Other than the horrible color, there's NOTHING wrong with these fans. They're designed to be super quiet (and for those who say they're not, you're not installing them properly!) and still acheive reasonable airflow for cooling. Passive fans, not active (ie; use for case, or large passive CPU cooling, not for an XP-120).

Nexus 120MM Real Silent Case Fan Orange 1000RPM 22.8DBA 36.87CFM 3/4PIN
Cons:-may not push enough air for some-price

Pros:+Quiet (fan noise and motor noise)+Quality
Comment:
Probably an essential piece of kit for any quiet PC enthusiast. Don't be fooled, you just can't undervolt any fan and expect them to be quiet. Nexus fans are quality. The motor noise is far less than other fans and you won't get any annoying click or ticking or other extraneous noises that you would get from other fans.Pretty quiet at 12V, almost inaudible at 7V. Probably not recommended for someone with a high heat and overclocked system though. Slightly pricy, but you are paying for quality.

It's a quiet as everyone says, I can't hear it at all, it replaced the stock 120mm in my Antec 1650B chassis. Of course now I'm tempted to upgrade the CPU fan and the power supply.

Nexus 120MM Real Silent Case Fan Orange 1000RPM 22.8DBA 36.87CFM 3/4PIN
Cons:-not as quiet as i thought-closed screw holes requires modding when you want to clip it on a heatsink like xp-120-a bit over priced

Pros:-not noisy-cool power connector (you don't need an extra adapter to switch between 3pin and 4pin)-sleeved cable-good airflow, given the noise level.
Comment:
It belongs to the quiet group of my fans collection, but it's still not as quiet as I expected it to be. At 12V it's loud, so I have to undervolt it to 7V to keep it quiet. It's not a bad fan, but at $20 it may be a bit too much since it's on par with a $8 coolermaster.

Cons:-Color-subpar airflow-can still be heard

Pros:-Quiet-Slow down your fans and you can have this for much cheaper.
Comment:
Ok, this is suppose to be a quality quiet fan but to tell the truth, it's not much more quiet than say the Cooler Master sleave 120mm ones which cost one third the price and looks much nicer. This thing is ugly and I can still hear it when it's spinning. Even more so, it pushes almost no air at all! Pretty much throwing away money with this one...buy the CMs instead.

Pros:Quiet. Did I mention it's quiet?
Comment:
This fan is great! It's very quiet, even at 12 V. I actually find the colour refreshing. I'm not sure if I like the way the 4-pin and 3-pin power connectors are daisy-chained, but it's not a big deal.

Cons:colourdoesn't easily fit on XP-120

Pros:SilentLow rpm with sufficient airflow
Comment:
I bought this fan to use on my XP-120...and it works great! It's spinning at about 1100rpm and with the XP-120 it's cooling my X2 3800+ down to around 25 degrees. Best of all, since this is being used in an HTPC, it's completely silent. The loudest thing in my case now is my Seagate SATA drive. This is awesome!

Nexus 120MM Real Silent Case Fan Orange 1000RPM 22.8DBA 36.87CFM 3/4PIN
Cons:-orange color-mounting holes....-lower airflow

Pros:-quiet!-did I mention it's quiet?
Comment:
I wanted a quiet intake fan for my Sonata case. In being quiet this fan doesn't disappoint. It is whisper quiet and can not be heard from outside of the case. If you need a quiet 120mm fan this is the one.Drawbacks are fairly obvious for this fan. If you have a window and aesthetics are imprtant then the orange color is unfortunate. Also the air flow is far less then most other 120mm fans, but this not ment as a high flow fan. Finallythe corner mounts are solid through the fan casing so I had to cut them out with a hacksaw to use the small rubber pin mounts. Only took a minute but would have been nice to avoid it altogether.Overall if you need a fan that is quiet then this hsould be your first choice.

Pros:Super quiet (almost completely silent)

This a great fan from Nexus that is almost completely silent (you can only hear it if you put your ear right up to it). The only disadvantage is the low airflow of this fan (especially if you use it as an intake fan).

Cons:Orange4 pin (not a weakness for some, no rpm readout for fan controllers though).

Pros:Quiet!120mmGood airflow/noise ratio
Comment:
Great fan. Has the best noise to airflow ratio out there.Dont be disapointed when it seems to push less air current than a 80mm 36cfm fan does though. It is pushing the same volume of air, spread out over the larger area. Its too bad they dont make versions of this in different colours, but it makes up for it in performance :).
