It works well, and is very quiet, as long as you keep the speed down at it's lowest setting. At medium, or high, it is fairly loud. I guess the volume of air it pushes might be more than other fans, but it is about the same noise level as my previous fans, and those did not as much.It also is not PWM (My bad for not reading that) so you better be happy with the speed adapters or have a fan controller if you want to really adjust the speed so it isn't noisy.If you get it on sale it is a good deal, otherwise grab another brand that has PWM and for less money.

Man these fans are really the very best of the greatest. They are super quiet, output ALOT of air, and did I mention how quiet they are? These rubber pegs for mounting the fans are a discomfort if you dont have space to maneuver!High priced. They look like they are flemsy, but truly thats decieving. I have to say I'm disappointed in it's lack of air flow compared to the delta.Good fan, just not the flow I was seeking for to take care of my Asetek cpu water cooler.
