Comment:
These fans are extremely quiet and perform effectively. Replaced a couple noisy fans that came in my situation. The color of these factors is ugly, but they function really nicely. Black or clear would have been best.

Great materials are applied for construction (a "soft" plastic is employed). You may well note that the leading edge of the blade has a double indentation to alter the air flow. Wether it is good or negative I cannot say. A lot of cabling with package. Fan noise is very low. Great cable management. Very advised. None noted. Purchased due to buyer feedback, and to stay clear of brand loyalty (I am a thermaltake sort of guy), I am pleased with the purchase, and only have longevity concerns. Quieter than the stock fan, and moves a small additional air. I have an ancient Chenming mATX-118 cube situation that I will never get rid of (due to modding work), and am making use of a Phenom II Callisto, with a Zalman 8700NT, so I figured with the extra heat, I ought to appear into added cooling. All fit really properly. The rubber standoffs had been not applied, but I could see them as a benefit to some.

Excellent develop quality. Incredibly quiet and moves a lot of air.Contrary to Corsair's recommendation, I have two of these in a p/p configuration exhausting air on a H50 water cooler in a HAF 922. The temperatures are the identical as the stock intake fan with half the noise. nothing at all to do with quality but I ordered 4 fans, ticket had four fans, box said four fans opened the box discovered 3 fans. named the egg and they are sending out the fourth one particular correct away. Newegg consumer service was very valuable and quickly and I have never ever had an concern with them.

Outstanding build high quality, innovative engineering. Just like a Mercedes. Expensive. Just like a Mercedes. Needed an intake fan to support with heat from GTX 275 and a motherboard with poorly placed chipset heatsink. Right after installing this fan, was able to place the side panel back on my case and stow away the ten" floor fan that was blowing straight into the box. No more artifacts. The fan is practically silent at full speed, even in an aluminum case. As lengthy as it stays this quiet for a long time, I'll continue to be impressed.

I have used Noctua fans more than two years now and in my recent install I have six 120mm fans running which includes the heatsink. My case sits on my desktop about eighteen inches from my ear and whisper quiet is what they are.I am operating off a psu of 1000wt and have two nvidia GTX285OC+ cards running 24ǝ for Folding. None in over two years of continual use. I will be making an additional personal computer and it will will need a couple of 14cm fans. The fantastic news is, Noctua will be releasing New 14cm fans in the 4th quarter of 2009 and I am certain they will be on Newegg soon. What a great supprise for me.Even though I am not high tech knowledgable I can say from expertise That I am entirely satisfied with my buy of these fans.

Comment:
High air flow, high static pressure (I'm trusting their claims, due to the fact I have no way to test this), low noise.Curiosity was to blame when it came to acquiring a ศ case fan, thinking back, I'm not certain how I justified it. Noctua is one particular of a couple of corporations who offer a high static pressure nine bladed fan style. I chose Noctua due to their "SSO" (self-stabilising oil-pressure) bearing, which I fully grasp as acting the similar as any other fluid dynamic fan bearing. On the other hand, a particular competing brand's white 9 bladed fan, which I've had for well more than a year now, uses a additional standard two-ball bearing. Both are high air flow and fairly low noise at lower speeds. The "white fan" clearly outperforms the NF-P12 in raw air flow when cranked up, but immediately after almost two years, the bearings in the "white fan" are audible, albeit barely. Due to the fact the max air flow of the Noctua NF-P12 is a lot more than sufficient, I hope that it's a great alternative with longer lasting bearings. High-priced relative to other 9-blade fan choices, which are currently pricey. It's a ศ situation fan, come on! The larger static pressure developed by making use of a lot more blades ~should~ be superior at pushing air even though dense heatsink fins and situation fan mesh. Any tests I've accomplished are purely subjective, but it appears they push a bit more air by means of at the similar level of noise as their fewer bladed brethren.Note: This "white fan" I'm taking about is produced by an additional business with the stones to charge more than ฟ for a situation fan. You figure it out, given that I'm tired of critiques getting blocked by mentioning competing goods. Also, this is a user review on the internet--I am a self-proclaimed specialist of all and everything I say really should be accepted as fact.

Comment:
I have never not heard anything this quiet just before. On complete speed its a whisper of a noise, guaranteed you will not hear this fan more than something else in your situation. When you start off to slow it down it becomes inaudible and nonetheless moves air, honestly theres no point just leave in full speed you wont hear the distinction. The only con I would say is that they are heavy fans, but thats due to their superior construction and design. The color scheme is a bit odd. If you are trying to build a quiet Pc then these are the fans to get. You will not be disappointed.

- Low Noise- Wonderful Airflow- Wonderful Warranty - A little on the expensive side I bought two of these Noctua NF-P12 for my Corsair H50. I wanted to overclock additional with out worrying about overheating. I did not undervolt and still heard nothing from these fans. The performance was also fantastic as I did a small overclock. My i5-750 is overclocked to three.2GHz, for now, and I'm idling at 36° C and recording 53° C at complete load. I could quickly overclock to three.8GHz or so with the existing headroom. These fans are a fantastic investment. A Have to Purchase!!!!!!!!!!!

-Rapidly-Almost totally silent (At normal speed as well!)-5 year warranty-Adapters for diverse speed/sound levels-Significant drop in temperature levels None Ordered this for my case(Thermaltake Tsunami) mainly due to the fact my front intake fan hadn't worked given that the day I bought the situation. Soon after installing this fan with the screws and the common speed adapter my temperatures dropped majorly across the board. This fan is almost fully silent even without having the vibration reducers or lower speed adapters. The price tag is on the high finish but it's justified by how effectively this fan performs. Plus you can't beat a 5 year warranty on a FAN. Currently ordered a second to replace my default exhaust fan in the back. May also soon order a 92mm for my side intake.

+ Great fan really quiet, superior cooling to stock fans.+ Supplied with a lot of hardware for a variety of configurations types, including (U)LNA adapters and vibration compensators. - "Ugly", is one way to put it.- High priced I have six of these fans mounted, three front, two side and 1 rear. I ended up replacing the 3 that had been included in my thermal take situation and adding a couple to cool the north bridge on the side. Even just before I installed the side fans, these were cooling superior to the stock case fans and had been at least twice as quiet. This was even with out the (U)LNA and vibration compensators.

Noctua NF-P12-1300 CPU Cooler and Case Fan
Cons:Unique colour schemeCost

Pros:Top notch build qualityGreat job cooling my CPU heat sink
Comment:
As many are aware, Noctua provides quality airflow through their fans. I recently made the switch on my CPU heat sink to two of these fans, and could not be happier. My Coolermaster V6GT fans were emitting this low whining noise, and I had enough of it. I'd always heard that Noctua provided great cooling, so after doing a bit of research, I settled on these middle of the pack fans. There are better cooling solutions for dense heat sinks where static pressure is required than the P12's (I believe the F12's are higher rated for static pressure, but come with a higher noise level) but I value silence as well as performance. But, what holds people back from buying Noctua fans is the colour scheme, particularly if you have a case with a window. I am somewhat fortunate since the V6GT comes with a shroud that covers up the cream coloured fan housing, and only leaves the brown fans exposed. I can live with that, others might not. That being said, I was so surprised at how quiet these fans were. They are whisper quiet, and I would recommend them to anyone that values silence. How does it cool? Compared to the fans that came with the V6GT (decent fans) the Noctua's are keeping my 2500k about 1-2 degrees cooler at idle, and I have not seen any of my cores jump above 43 degrees Celsius. These fans are also more costly than your standard 120mm fan, (I think I paid the same price for my 200mm fans) but you get what you pay for. The quality is top notch and the performance and silence speak for themselves.I would not hesitate to use these fans again, even despite the non-standard colour.

I am extremely pleased with this fan. I bought two and place them each on a new Megahalems in push/pull and I'm seeing exceptional outcomes! These fans have very quiet operation for their CFM. A lot of other fans I've dried all appear to make a small electronic noise. These don't and sound seriously smooth. I really like these None

Does its job, looks really ugly with my obsidian 800D and Corsair H80 and H100. I mean black and brown and different shades of brown and peach and cream coloured stuff? Uhh.. no thanks, I'm going to pass, even though Noctua makes one of the best fans out there.

High quality, extremely large and two fans is pretty considerably maxing out what you can do with air cooling. It was as well major for my setup. It blocked the memory slots, so I had to go with a thing else.

So I bought this to total my Noctua NH-u12DX xeon cpu cooler upgrade which lets you (for lack of a better term) massive mac three fans (bread) with the coolers in among (meat). Even with three fans operating at the precise similar time this factor is amazingly quiet, and now my energy provide fan is the loudest thing on my pc. The quantity of air flow these fans make is amazing. With the fan completely open I could really feel the air being pulled when I held my hand more than a quarter of the fan. I just can't say enough about this thing... As everybody else has pointed out the brown on brown color scheme isn't the greatest, but hell I'll sacrifice looks for efficiency any day of the week I'm now thinking about replacing my intake fan with a single of these to strengthen airflow, but that's for a later date

-Straightforward install -Amazing create excellent!!!-Fans are virtually silent-lowered i7 cpu temps by 15c!! -none this is an incredible product after 15 yeas of building personal and commercial computer/servers I only use Noctura fans in private builds. I have four 120mm Noctura fans in my private workstation plus this cpu cooler. Even with 6 120mm Noctura fans operating at complete speed... I can say that they are virtually inaudible. There is no mechanical noise at all... just the gentle sound of moving air. Even with an over-clocked i7 12gig's of ram and two graphic cards heat in my tower and at the cpu socket are at a minimum. Well below what they were with stock cooling. This cooler simply lowered my cpu 13-15c from stock. My advice... If you have room for this cooler and you want to cool with air... this is the only cooler to get! You can't go wrong with Noctura!!! Also check out the 120mm and 140mm fans, they are extraordinary! In this case you get what you spend for!!

Sturdy, nicely-built fan. Adapters, screws, and rubber pegs that came with it all function nicely (ended up attempting them all out, out of curiosity). Really quiet. It's not silent; you can hear the air moving against the blades and the mesh of the case, but it's the quietest fan I've ever had. Dropped case temps about 5*C from the OEM fan. Can't get any additional specific than that, sadly (see other). None so far. At the moment, I only have one of these in an old Pentium rig of a friend's, but I'll be swapping out my fans to use two of these with a H50, and three with an RX360 cooling GPUs. I'll post once again when I have a fantastic notion how properly these in fact cool.

I needed a new exhaust fan for the back of my case as my old one was getting loud, so I went with this as I had a 140mm Noctua for intake and I'm happy with the result. The fan moves enough air for me and doesn't make a lot of noise doing it, and isn't high pitched which to me makes more a difference then overall noise. Like other Noctua fans the colour scheme isn't very appealing though though that isn't much of a shock as you can see that from the images of it.

Does what it claims. I have two running as intake/exhaust and didn't even will need to use the Low or Ultra Low Noise Adapters. Plugged them appropriate into my mobo headers and listened to the joy of... silence. Could be a small bit less expensive.Energy cables could be an inch or two longer. Fan comes in a nice package that is very specialist, and appears to be created of sturdy supplies. Feels rugged and durable. Hopefully they will serve me nicely for many years. I do think the energy cables could be a tiny bit longer even though, but that's partly mainly because of my P35-DS3R's quirky design.. SysFan 1 header is ALL the way on the back edge of the board (closest to the exhaust fan) and SysFan two is up at the front edge.. Makes for some confusing monitoring if you don't recognize this ahead of time. But that's not Noctua's fault. These fans are fantastic, and do what they say. Just wish they had been about ŭ more affordable.
