Superb Speed, clear display, simple to navigate menus, excellent keypad...no parallax issues like touch screen phones, address book is greatest in company my fat thumb occasionally picks an adjacent key, but overall far superior to the E61/E62. Would recommend to any individual who uses a mobil telephone in company

Good screen, very good keyboard, solid body, battery life as expected. I usually expect a full day of battery energy with about two hours of talk time and some text messaging and browsing. Generally I can get close to two, even though I generally plug in at night, if I forget hasn't been a dilemma. Extended term durability with every day use not so good. I've owned it about 10 months now. The camera got a black spot that would show up with all pictures, even right after thorough cleaning of lens glass. Then the camera stopped working altogether. 3 keys went missing lately. Just noticed they were gone 1 day. Minor problem of not getting able to display date if you're employing something other than the typical mode (i.e. if you go silent mode), and no time if you're on any screen except major. No built in PIM only simple calendar mode. Want patience figuring out the software program and Ovi retailer. Still haven't figured it out entirely, and software on my Computer is constantly attempting to sync with my phone even though I tell it not to. Am sending phone to Nokia for repair for camera and keys ahead of one year warranty is up. Will see how that goes.

*Slick searching, thin and fairly.*Good sound quality.*Full of characteristics.*Good battery life.*Beautiful screen (for 320x240) with fantastic video top quality.*Accurate GPS with Google Maps.*A Blackberry killer...and smaller, thinner than the Blackbery Bold...while the Bold has a greater resolution screen 鸠x320).*Responsive keys. Larger handed men and women will want a telephone with a bigger keyboard.ƬGB capable memory slot.*Great camera. Decent low-light pics without flash. *Heavy.*Not touchscreen.Ʀ.five mm plug rather of 3.five mm audio jack.*Not intuitive to costomize.*Enterprise e-mail application not pre-loaded.*Does not charge via USB cable.*Dropped calls just about every day.*My outgoing voice signal is choppy and sounds terrible to people today on the other end.*Bluetooth setup is slow.*Browser not Flash-enabled.*Does not automatically choose the fastest connection i.e. WiFi, HSDPA, EDGE, GPRS when processing information.*Slow 369 MHz processor makes for slow browsing even with strong WiFi connection...this DOES enhance the battery life though. If this camara had:*a faster processor*a lower weight by about 10gƧ.5 mm audio jack*charged by way of standard USB*had a flash enabled processor*automatically piced the fastest connection*had a greater resolution and touchscreenthis would be thee best telephone.

Small, quickly, good screen, full QWERTY keyboard, superb battery life US 3G bands. Camera, two.5mm audio jack. I've been making use of this telephone a small below a week and I appreciate it. 3G is amazing and I don't know how I lived with out it. The keyboard keys are smaller yet are so straightforward to use, even with stubby fingers. The battery is exceptional. A full day of heavy use (gaming and browsing) and the battery nonetheless had 40% left. This was practically 15 hours of non-stop use. The screen is awesome. The only factor that disappointed me was the camera. I'm not to worried though simply because I hardly use the camera anyway. Highly recommend this phone, specially for the bargain value.

Every little thing operates excellent, speed is excellent, switching between programs has no lag, the processor does its job, 3G net speed functions excellent, GPS navigation operates fantastic both with Garmin and Nokia Maps two., Workplace documents no problem, music is ok for a small business phone, you tube works only when access the web page, not by means of dedicated computer software like emTube. Email, calendar, intelligent input approach, all are genuinely good and beneficial. Ideal telephone ever had. 2.five mm jack, my e71 got a small bit of dust in between the actual display and the phone's screen, uncomplicated removed with a dust blower immediately after opened the phone, the keys kinda smaller for my thick fingers but i got utilized to them. adore it. Finest telephone ever had. In my opinion beats i Telephone and blackberry in any contest.

I am operating on the networking setup now but the wifi and bluetooth are operating great! None to date. Pending my I/T department to configure MS exchange assistance on this device. I am positive that it will handle it nicely.

It looks goods GPS is just terrible, I can see the satelites but I cannot see My location.compatibility with office goods is a joke.Nokia customer service is really poor. I bought this phone for My Thai wife, I believed Nokia was a reputable corporation with very good products, This phone changed My perceptions.I can\'t multi task, if I am connected to the net in 1 application and I want to use a diverse application I should disconnect from any prior connection and re-establish a new connection. I can\'t think that Nokia really put out such a horrible product. I purchased this telephone in Oct 2009 and began using it in Nov 2009 in Thailand. The initial two months I visited the nokia care store five occasions. each time I maintain understanding that this obtain was just throwing very good cash down the drain. I will not buy an additional Nokia telephone once again. I might not get any additional products from Newegg once more. Do not acquire a telephone unless you can return it if it does not perform to your expectations.

Enjoyable! Very good for facts based company (email, SMS, SIP etc). No-touch strategy can be surprisingly quick. Screen is big sufficient (except for full browsing). Battery good...looks sleek and all that. Fits front pocket, which obviates will need for belt attachment. Can do most something. native SIP a large...huge plus for me and works nicely. Exchange/ActiveSync is really rapidly. WiFi is powerful. NO REGRETS at all so far... Only acquiring three days on WLAN at lowest power though specs say 6 days idle. E-mail is a bit funky...can pull in Exchange plus other POP3s, but all use exact same SENT folder and such. Exchange client is a keeper (even if no HTML), but searching for 3rd party for other POP3s. Configuration tools could be a lot more centralized and intuitive. Definitely, actually wanted VPN to work with Microsoft but haven't located the trick yet. Thingys sticking out the side catch somewhat. Like stainless steel method, but in hindsight would prefer fingerprint deterrent. Operating on two.5mm plug solution. Bought Clarivue screen protectors. LED flash-light would have been cool. OS UI is functional but feels dated compared to the otherwise quite slick telephone. Purchased this telephone specifically to enhance my communication alternatives and save funds. I dumped my carrier contract in favor of Prepaid. I use Prepaid for incoming and WiFi/SIP for outgoing. My monthly telephone bill for two numbers is about ผ.50. For a small business phone it's a smoking deal. Looking for bluetooth accessories (keyboard, headset) subsequent. Wish it could output video as I would prefer not to touch it when not on the road. Extremely advised for mobile experts, but not for any person who has ever had an AOL account or cut their teeth on a MAC...

Solid Construct, not a low-cost plastic phone, excellent parallels the IPhone. For any person who calls corporations for a living and has wants to use the firms dial by final name directory, this phone is a nightmare! There is no straight forward way to alter from numbers to letters, and by thetime you go by way of the steps, the firm phone systems ask you to start off over! If you're on the road and have to dial a number for assistance, like 1-800-GATEWAY, forget it, it's not going to take place on this phone! There is no way of determining what letters correspond with the numbers, unless you keep a copy of a normal phone keypad with you!A key disadvantage with this phone is ring tone volume! From the moment I purchased it, I just can't hear it ring, regardless of what ringtones put on it! I've really suffered the whole two years I've had this phone, with a Nirvona song, which is the loudest factor the AT&T rep could discover! I'm 56, and Nirvana is not on my typical playlist! two stars for good quality, with absolutely nothing else positive! If you're like me, a middle age business person(I'm a Recruiter, so I'm always on the phone), you'll have major troubles seeing the small numbers and letters on this telephone! Specifically at dusk and beyond!I bought this telephone mainly because I had used a Nokia N63! that was spectacular, and felt that I'd stick with Nokia, and go with a smartphone with net wireless capabilities! This phones web speed is a actual challenge, it's far too slow to be anything but an annoyance! My two year strategy is up subsequent month, and I don't know what to get! I've suffered with the limitations of this telephone for two years! I like the top quality of Nokia, but the proprietary Nokia PC Software program is often trying to attach to the world wide web! Just a different piece of malware as far as I'm concerned! I wish the Nokia/Windows deal was prepared and I could get a good quality Nokia Phone, with the windows operating system! That must be the business winner!

Thin , but has all the attributes one would need to have. My fingers are large but i was able to sort properly the characters on the screen and forward as text/multimedia msgs.Never read the manual in any fantastic detail and was able to figure what the icons did.I was able to alter the NAM from product code 0569371 to 0559585 which then allowed me to update the software program from v100 to v200.21.118 thru NSU. I recognize with the new item code updates are completed in a timely alter.Inserted active SIM Card and i was off and everything configured itself (ATT) Now have SkyFire,Opera Mini,Messenger,Yahoo Go and Reuters Browers in the installation folder. For those that want to alter the NAM item code google "Nemesis Service Suite" and install on personal computer Vista/XP use virtual USB and connected to phone suite.Click magnifying glass icon at upper appropriate which will come across telephone and then click phone information button and then click read and prod code appears, change to 0559585 and then click write.Update NSU Does leave smudges\fingerprints on back. So What! Now the intriguing portion which did take some time in understanding. Create a new theme employing Carbide.UIThe telephone with the updated software comes with Blk and Red \personal/business themes with the carry overs from v100.When you generate a theme with Carbide.UI you must produce a set of keys just before transferring the package to the telephone.Immediately after that you make a backup of the contents of the telephone and memory card (if present) employing Nokia Suite through USB.Now lets say a new software version comes along, but just before you install, delete the theme you developed, else it becomes permanent and it can't be removed. Do one more backup which doesn't include the theme and then install new firmware and then install the theme you made earlier. This way it can be removed if you get tired of looking at it.SkyFire Browser needs reinstalling because some components are missing in the backup as properly as connections in between phone and nokia suite. Even so the Nokia suite does the installing those missing items.

The Phone is a wonderful to use. My phone had bricked and I sent it to a Nokia Care Centre, the 1 in Newmarket named Flextronics. The shipping firm shows that it was delivered and signed for on the 5th of August, but right now, the 15th, there isn't even a confirmation on the repair site that the phone has been received. There is no update on the repair status and phoning the repair centre will only get me to an answering machine or siphon me towards the similar useless web site. Be cautious when updating firmware. If you don't have any difficulties, don't update the phone at all.

I have not tested any of the more advanced features, but very first impressions are:- Rapidly and responsive.- Excellent call high quality.- Was able to instantly get full Fido 3g reception in places where I never had any reception prior to.- Wonderful workmanship. Produced in Finland.- Received a clean phone, no carrier particular badges/ software, in a Nokia-sealed box. None so far. I wanted to get a solid telephone that I would not will need to change for a even though, and that I could use in my travels as well as in Canada. I was concerned about buying this telephone as I've had a prior bad knowledge getting an unlocked phone from another common on-line vendor (a Samsung phone that was ripped from a European network and that that newer worked suitable, came with scratches, and so on). In this case nevertheless, I am very pleased. Phone came as a sealed product from Nokia, quick shipping, exactly what I paid for and more than I expected. Keep it up Newegg!

3G HSDPA, WIFI, GPS, S60, Nokia, Software it comes with and what you can get for it. Wicked Sick Fast 3.5mm jack would have been superior. Camera could have been a lot better. I currently own an E62, HTC TILT (Kaiser), HTC 8525 (Hermes), RAZR V3XX, Nokia 6555, BJII, and yea. I like this a lot much more than any of those, this makes me pleased when i use it, and barely leaves anything to be desired. It does almost everything nicely and speedily. You can update to the newest firmware by changing the product code to 0559585 using Nemesis Service Suite, then just utilizing Nokia Software Update util to update the firmware. Really Nice!

This has been my main phone for more than a year. I really like the open-ended nature of the OS. I run an NES emulator with a library of games on mine. Decent develop high quality -- mine has withstood very a couple of drops, and is still running fine (although it has become broken ahead of and I've had to fix it by hand by pushing pieces back into spot.) Metal exterior is exceptional; the telephone is flat but feels incredibly solid. The plastic parts of the phone are of medium high quality. Buttons have a excellent tactile response, but positioning is not especially ergonomic. I've had some random weirdness including information loss and button malfunction (like I press E and get V.) All phones have random weirdness to some degree, although, and the telephone works fine 99% of the time. Not effective enough to run some things that I'd like to, like the commercial SNES emulator that is available. Keyboard is decent but nothing to write home about. My ş complaint is the lack of customizability of the property screen and primary user interface. It is customizable but not as much as I'd like. The built-in e-mail interface is fairly weak, but I haven't utilized it a lot. There are some oddities with the interface: one of my larger complaints is that there appears to be no simple way to paste a phone number from my address book into a text message. Overall worth it, if just to have the phone that looks like a Blackberry but is in contrast to anybody else's telephone. Reasonably easy to use, though still getting attributes desirable for a power user. You can run an SSH client on it!

The style of the phone is great. The Phone started shuting down on its own soon after 4 weeks. Tried every thing but it appears like its a hardware dilemma.Contacted newegg and they did not support at all. They could not issue even an RMA. Conclusion: It was a poor experience with Nokia and Newegg. will not do it once more. In no way purchase a phone based on the reviews you read on Newegg. It can be misleading

I bought the E71x from ATT, pretty considerably the very same phone. It has been fantastic. Solid OS, wonderful apps when you locate them. There are tons of no cost, open source programs out there for this telephone. Battery life is excellent for a smart phone at what it is capable of. Nokia is not so well-liked in the U.S., but all through the globe there is a strong following so you can uncover plenty of support and software program. USB charging as other people have mentioned. When I've got my phone hooked up to my laptop to install or remove software, it would be nice to have it charging. E71x from ATT is loaded with junk bloatware. Can\'t remove it without having use of external software. Keyboard took some time to get used to, but it's significantly quicker than a conventional 12 key telephone pad. Search for blogs about these phones. Tons of great information and links to be located.

Sharp design, very intelligent searching in your hands. Great audio quality and very good reception; you can quickly converse in some quite noisy environments. QWERTY keyboard makes texting a snap as long as you’re fairly dexterous. Camera is a step up from my prior Nokia 񣡎). Speakerphone is superior and loud, and polyphonic tones sound terrific. Can back up everything to micro SD card (up to 16 gig!). If you got massive fingers, beware! Text keys are small (but raised so not too bad). Screen is smallish for a wise telephone, but overall looks fairly great. Not as simple to personalize as non smartphones. Uses old-ish OS. For a smart phone, it's not actually that smart. The OS is showing it's age; particularly when I compare my telephone to their iPhones and Pearls. There are OS upgrades in the pipeline although, or so I am told. I miss some capabilities from my old Nokia, such as getting a slide-show for my wallpaper, ease of switching/downloading ringtones. Nonetheless, getting a mini-USB connection and a micro-SD slot makes up for a lot of stuff, specifically for listening to music (don't forget a two.5 to three.five mm adapter so you can use better good quality headphones). Shopping around for further themes and third-party software program correct now. I'll update my assessment in a couple of weeks immediately after I've put it via some more paces. Oh, and I purchased it Before NewEgg put it on sale; one call to customer service and I get a refund for the distinction. NewEgg freek’in rocks, and they ship to APO’s!

Produced in Finland. Dropped it a number of times and it has often survived. Does every little thing. Nicely crafted. Bluetooth incompatibilites about. Do a search for e71 bluetooth disconnecting and you will see. I bought virtually a dozen bluetooth speakers simply because the phone speaker isn't loud sufficient. None of the bluetooth speakers would work. Nokia only supports their own brand of accessories, so you're out of luck if you want a blueant, convergence and so on. Dismal speaker. Totally free OVI maps is not integrated, so if you want to map an existing get in touch with, you have to manually enter the destination.Interface is horribly complicated and confusing, documention falls brief.Built-in HP printer driver will not function, other people have this dilemma. The ONLY calendar it will sync with is Nokias or Outlook.None of the firmware updates have corrected the difficulties, just make the phone slower. Potentially wonderful phone with lots of bugs and idiosyncracies.
