This Is Really Rapid! I take 1080p videos with my Canon T2i and it functions flawlessly. Quite quickly study and create speeds functions great for burst shoots through football games. When I bought it was ฯ but ล with rebateI normally get around 20-25 Study and 14-18 Create The only time I have ever had to wait for buffer was when I was carrying out a 20 continuous shoot of a kick-off and it started to lag towards the end. But that is the only challenge. It has lasted more than 8,000 photographs! and several hours of video recording! in only 5 months! It has forced me to upgrade my HDD to retailer anything!

lots of space. not a class ten, or maybe I just got two defective cards. Either way, this is the 1st Patriot memory stick I've ever given a poor evaluation for. Was in a position to record about 20 min of video on my new camcorder ahead of finding a message 'this memory card is as well slow. please use a more quickly card' Attempted reformatting the card, same difficulty. Thought it may well be defective, so exchanged it for a different. Comparable result- the new card was excellent for 5-ten min prior to I got the same error. Also utilizing a Transcend 16GB card (also rated class 10) with no troubles. So I had to return this one, Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Consumer, We're sorry for the inconvenience this may have brought on you. Rest assured that your memory card is backed by a 5-year warranty. To initiate the warranty or to resolve any technical concerns please don't hesitate to make contact with support@patriotmem.com. When you can catch these SD cards on sale, they're a pretty good deal. I haven't had any issue using any of these cards in my Olympus E-PL1 camera and it reads perfectly fine with my Kingston MobileLite G3 card reader. No real complaints.

I purchased this card to replace my Patriot 16GB Class 6 card. As it wants to be sent in for repair/replacement below warranty. The Value was excellent. Tested with H2testw v1.4Write ten.9 MB/sStudy 16.three MB/sWas hoping for a tiny far more than appropriate at the class rating speed.PSF16GSDHC6Create 10.1 MB/sStudy 16.four MB/sSo, the PSF16GSDHC10 is no upgrade, but just a replacement. I wonder if I will get a slower card back from RMA class six, considering that they ship out labeled class ten cards now.

It's 16 gigs of SD memory I didn't have yesterday. It's a pretty tiny point. I don't see any difference in file transfer speed more than a USB2. connection between this card (apparently a "class ten") and a 16 gig "class 4" card which I am also using. If anything, it's a wee bit slower in both reading and writing, even in a fresh unfragmented state. Hope to see a distinction someday when I get a USB3. port.

Worked OK in my camera that used to take 720p video clips. When I attempted to create a m2ts format video clip of about 14GB into this card, the speed was about equal to class four. No way I'll pay for this at price tag! Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Consumer,We're sorry for any inconvenience this may have triggered you. Fantastic packaging. Plastic case for storage. Install not a challenge. When the card(s) did not appropriate a 1-two second delay between shots in my new Canon SX30. I contacted Canon who mentioned the cards do not buffer nicely. Patriot e mail help said a new firmware had fixed that and sent me an RMA for each cards. To be replaced by the updated memory. None from Patriot. Will save these Canon ones for that overview. I have been in this field for 30 years and price this help knowledge as 1 of the most satisfying I've had. It is clear that Patriot is prepared to assist with factors that aren't even their responsibility. No question I'm sold on their service.

Wonderful price tag and appears sturdy and strong. I havent tested the speed of this vs. my other SD cards simply because weather its my SD card reader on my laptop or the reader in my printer I will get random lockups or various SD cards for no reason. I have taken lots of high def video with my Canon S95 and so far the video has been flawless with this card. Laptop doesnt study it which is partially my laptop itself but it only takes place to particular cards and this just happens to be one particular of them.

High storage capacity Very slow study speed. I'm looking at my event viewer on windows 7 and right here's what it says when I Try to use the card for ready increase. The device (Generic- Multi-Card) will not be utilized for a ReadyBoost cache because it has insufficient study functionality: 1756 KB/sec.The device (Generic- Multi-Card) will not be used for a ReadyBoost cache mainly because it has insufficient read performance: 1681 KB/sec.and so on. I've tested my other PNY 8gb sdhc Class four and it's finding this. The device (USB Flash Memory) is appropriate for a ReadyBoost cache. The random read speed is 6409 KB/sec. The random write speed is 5355 KB/sec.I believed this Patriot card was supposed to be CLASS ten. As in at least 10mb/s. What's up with that?!I've attempted reformatting to NFTS and exFat but practically nothing helps in speeding things up.Tried taking shots with my camera and still slower than my 8gb class four card Study and write speeds are far from what is advertised. My three year old 2gb microsd friggin reads/writes more quickly than this. Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Buyer,Please hold in mind that the overall performance of our Class 10 cards are host-dependent and could be restricted to your card reader. There is also the possibility that the card reader is not compatible with SDHC Class ten SDHC cards. Cameras in particular are distinct in the class SDHC cards they take. For any further technical inquiries, please don't hesitate to speak to support@patriotmem.com.Thank You for selecting Patriot Memory!Regards,Patriot Help
