PNY memory has always worked for me and on many unique boards. Price is good. none I have had problems with other brands like Cr***** and Ki********. Not positive if it is QC issue or compatibility or what.

PNY is a fantastic business IMO. installed this stick with Foxconn 64 bit x2 barebone technique and winxp 32bit OS.Quite SNAPPY! and rapid. None so far Want i would have purchased the other stick of ram to attain dual channel!

Great for an upgrade in an older pc. Quite low cost, undoubtedly improved general technique performance. PNY has a lifetime warranty on all of their RAM. Generally if RAM functions for the initial week it will perform forever, but it's good to know that PNY stands behind their item. None. This RAM applied to come with a heat spreader but no longer does. Doesn't truly matter considering that it's only Pc 5300 and the heat spreader probably produced it expense a small additional. Also, packaging is distinct from the a single pictured on this website, but the item remains the identical.

Applications run/load a lot more quickly than usual. Easy set up and quick signs of improvement. None. It's RAM. What's to hate? The more the greater! Vista is a memory hungry OS and needs additional RAM than a standard XP machine. Windows preloads services to run apps/games quicker, so memory is essential. No such point as as well much RAM! :D

Operates great in my Dell Optiplex 740. Along with the 1gb I already had two of these tends to make Windows 7 64 bit fly. Incredibly happy. Only feasible complaint is that the 2 sticks I ordered arrived together but were not identical. Both are PNY PC2-5300 1gb sticks, but physically they were slightly diverse and had 1 letter different in their element numbers. I always hear that matched pairs are ideal so I figure this could have an effect on overall performance slightly.

Very good for the cost. Initially 1 I bought came with a heat spreader for 3-four bucks additional. Second one particular I purchased did not come with a heat spreader. Want they would have kept the heat spreader.

Inexpensive memory. Purchased it to make a barebone surfing/e-mail/skype laptop or computer for my father. Ran memtest on it, did a week's non-stop use to make positive it was great, no difficulties. Can't complain about purchasing a thing that performs as advertised. Can't believe of any.

Nicely I bought two of these and put them into my program and what a distinction my Pc is operating so significantly superior. and it performs with my other RAM that I have so thats a bonus wasnt sure if it was going to. so now I have three gigs and my Pc is doing very good only that I didnt acquire two more to replace my other RAM. excellent value

Performs with most motherboards ideal out of the box. Not for overclockers. Timing is extremely tight. It's great if you program to run at stock speed. I returned mine due to the fact it doesn't do 800Mhz unless I more than volt it.

Wasn't certain it would function with my ECS 570sli rev. 5.1 motherboard but it does. Picky motherboard. Lots of evaluations about ram not operating but pny performs fine. Paid 180 for my first gig 6 months ago at the shop. Just ordered a different from new egg for 90 bucks. Had my create for almost 6 months year now.

Functions great. It functions with the SUPER picky DG965WH mobo. If you are looking at this RAM this is a excellent option. none, typical price tag. Ended up shopping for this RAM from BBY b/c I had already tried two other orders of RAM from newegg that didn't operate on this mobo and was tired of paying restocking fees for having the ram for 10 minutes ahead of placing them back in their original box and shipping it back taking a 1 week proccess.

Wonderful worth, initial RAM I've owned with a heat spreader. What cons? It either works, or doesn't. Why does DDR2 memory cost so significantly much less than DDR? I consider my BIOS didn't recognize it, I'll try placing the stick in again.

functions excellent and has a good value for its size now i have 2.five GB of ram and the heat spreders work flawlessly so this brings me closer to getting a high performence Pc now if i could only do somthing about that graphics card... None Thus! i still need to get 3 far more of thes so i hope they restock soon
