Pros: Still fast and still working after 18 months. I personally like the way the cap can be stuck to the back of the drive while it's in use, but YMMV. Fairly durable: it took a pretty good whack from my lab partner while connected to a front USB port on a PC and it still works just like new. I think I might even have run it through the wash once or twice.

Cons: These drives would benefit from a write protect switch. It's the only reason I'm not using it as my main drive when working on peoples' computers. Unfortunately, I wasn't thinking of this at the time of purchase.The cap. It should be more sturdy. It was the only thing that gave way. Not docking an egg for this since it was an unprecedented event and a different drive would have been junk after the fact in the same situation.The cap should also have a strap or something to keep it attached to the drive at all times because I can see myself losing it very easily. Unfortunately, the rubber casing makes the thing rather wide, so it can be difficult to plug in if there is another device plugged in next to it.

Pros: First, I want to talk about how durable this thing is. I was in a parking lot and I had both the flash drive and my cell phone in my pocket. I took my cell phone out and dropped the drive. I drove home and realized it was missing. I drove back to the lot and it was still there but it had dirt marks on it, and I knew it had been run over. The thing looked fine otherwise, but unfortunately, the metal connector was bent. After straightening it out as best I could, I plugged it in. It worked like a charm! It needs a good push/pull to connect/remove but it still works well.As for the speed, it's one of the fastest drives I've used. Definitely a plus there.I like the rubber casing. It's a nice touch.

Cons: None. really. I do wish they would come up with different colors: red/green/blue etc. to tell apart at a glance. maybe a more secure way to keep cap ( see below)

Pros: Solid construction, good thick rubber encasement. to protect from damage. FAST!! transfer speeds. use for work files and music syncs. the best usb drive for the price. led light to let you know it's working, comes with a usb extension cable to fit in tight places. nice design/colors. overall well pleased-will buy another soon.

Cons: Feels like you can almost bend the USB connector if you touch it or have anything leaning on it, but it's fine... lol

Pros: Does exactly what it says, very rugged design. I boot Ubuntu off of it. Fast transfer speeds. Zero regrets.

Cons: The cap can be lost easily. Not a problem though, I emailed patriot and they are sending me a replacement.

Pros: I haven't benchmarked the drive but it's really fast. Very reliable. I've had it for about 6 months and never a problem. I like the whole design of the thing, it looks nice, and feels nice, and I read what some reviewers said about the string that attaches the lanyard not being to strong, but I think it is plenty strong unless you go about trying to rock climb with your jump drive;).

Cons: BUYER BEWARE!!! BACK-UP YOUR DATA CONSTANTLY!!!!!!!!!!Today I find out that skywave who wrote a review on 3/4/10 is unfortunately correct. I purchased mine on 1/9/10 and today went to use it and it's a dead stick (no lights, no computer recognizes it, nothing). It worked flawlessly just last night at 10pm. I always safely remove it every single time I disconnect the drive. It never leaves my jacket pocket.I've even gone as far as getting a 6" USB extension cable so the drive isn't shoved up against other drives. I had a Corsair Voyager 8GB (Item#: N82E16820233037) drive previously that over the course of a year the usb connector was bent precariously at a 18* angle because of a tight fit and large physical footprint.I can only hope that I have better luck with Patriot than skywave. In the meantime I'm out of portable storage that I need so desperately (I work out of 4 geographically different locations and need the info with me).

Pros: The drive was very affordable, fast and physically rough & tough.

Cons: Lost the cap... it prob came off when I was taking it out of my pocket at some point.Bulky and it covers neighboring USB ports.

Pros: Fast. Good capacity. I've had this thing on my key chain for almost a year, and I have never had a problem with it.

Cons: The unit burned out in just over a month of use. I contacted Patriot by E mail and they seem to be worse the other company I had to deal with in getting a replacement. Still after a week still no response. I am getting to think that all these USB devices are not designed for extended use as they all burn out sooner or later- worse than hard drives.

Cons: The cap is completely soft rubber so possible for it to slide off and lose. But ive pulled this cap off 100s of times and it still has a snug air tight rubber awesomeness fit. And where lanyard hooks up is all rubber too, so it might rip if snagged but it would have to be a hard pull. Not really cons for me though.

Pros: Drive works great havent had any problems. Patriot makes solid memory devices. I mean really solid. You can hum this thing at the wall, it would bounce off, and still be good to go.Its covered with soft rubber and pretty much waterproof. Its fun to throw at people. Rubber is pretty tough. Durable with a lifetime warranty, what else could you want?

Cons: Despite the degree of stupidity I displayed, this drive never failed.

Pros: Fast, reliable and RESILIENT. I unintentionally put this stick through a full cold cycle in the washing machine (with detergent). I discovered it (horrified) just before the pants went into the dryer. The drive was storing several hours of work I had done while I was on the road... and of course I did laundry as soon as I got home. I was convinced that all of my files were lost. To my complete and utter amazement, after several days drying, THE DRIVE WORKED. Totally worth every penny. Impressive.

Pros: It's fast (copying) and durable. The rubberized shell has a nice feel to it. The cap stays on securely.This is the third Patriot flash drive that I have purchased. The other two work fine, but I gave one away, the other is only 2GB, so I bought this 8GB Patriot. Why not stick with a product that is reliable?

Cons: Slightly thicker than I like. I would say it might make it hard to fit in some USB spots but it comes with a free USB extender so I'll not complain about that. Im worries I may lost the little rubber cap someday, but I can't fault the product for my carelessness.

Pros: Great Speed! Works right out of the package. Great rubber cover. Its Patriot memory with Patriot company backing.
