I usually buy high quality media. This time I bought Phillips because it was on sale for $12.99. I knew that I was going to make backup DVD's for my grandchildren so I bought these. To my surprise, I haven't had any rejects. I would buy again.

It does not come with a case.its just a spindle. Not a problem for me ,thought I should mention it.

I purchased (5) 100 packs when the price was $9.99 a pack of 100 disks...I've burnt almost 150 disk in about one months time and have only 3 bad ones so far...burn speed anywhere from 4X to 16X with the faster speed creating the bad disks and glitches in the movies...I'll buy more at that price again

I just recieved my package yesterday. Everything was GREAT. So far so good. For the price you just can't get a better deal. $10.97 for 100 disks. WOW ! I see the price went back up to $33.00 each. So glad I bought 3 spindles at $11 a piece. I've used about 20 disks so far. No problems to-date.

i received these shipped by ups. one spindle of dvds had been packaged in a box large enough for 3 or 4, with one piece of paper laying in the box. the rolling and tumbling of the spindle during shipment broke the bottom off the spindle, and scratched the bottom disk. it's not worth rma for one disk, but i'm disappointed with this lack of care in packaging.

at 11 bucks for 100 you cannot go wrong. heck you can buy a bunch and even resell them to your buddies for a bit more.

The only objection I have is the packaging. Once unwraped the discs are on an open spindle, which could cause a problem keeping them clean (for the price it seems to be a fair trade-off). Objectionable, but not fatal. I have used more than 600 of these in the last six months and have had less than 1% failures. I honestly believe that those who have had problems with these actually have a problem with their burner or their software. So far I am satisfied.

I've gone through close to 600 of these dvds without any problems at all. Good value for a good product.

Maxell, Sony and Memorex are no deal at all considering they run at near 50% unuseable per bundle. Phillips works flawlessly in my Phillips DVR. Great Product!

I tried these Philips discs after having trouble with Memorex DVD-R(formula change?). The Philips work excellent, in fact they burn without a problem.It suprised me that they are good quality since many brands are cutting corners. I tried TDK DVD-R's, they were poor, thinner, and heat up too much. I used the Memorex DVD-R for years, so using the Philips was a surprise that they are reliable and you have to have a good software setup when burning any disc properly.

Only one that plays in any player. These discs are the most solid ones I ever used. Never any errors, any player likes them, what else is important?

I have previously use HP D-VR and decided to try this Philips. It loads and records easily and the playback is excellent! Will recommend it anytime.

These DVDs are of a very high quality as would be expected from the originator of optical data technology. However, they sport a major design flaw: the GIANT HONKING LABEL/BRANDING on the front of the disc. This reserves nearly all of the label side for the useless branding and runs amok of any attempt to actually label the disk. Why taint an otherwise excellent product? I don't care who made the disk once burned, but what's on it!

Bad disks, many errors. End up being able to use maybe 60 out of the 100 disks. I doubt I'll buy anymore philips anything, as the quality just isn't there.

I would recommend these disc to someone who uses a lot of them like I do. I have not had a problem yet and I am nearly 1/2 through them. You can't beat the price for 100 blank dvd-r. I will buy this product aagain.
